This is ME! I am SO glad I am not the only one. DS8 has autism, and DH has been out of work for a YEAR! I was just about to LOOSE my mind and then NKOTB came back into the picture. It has really been a HUGE escape for the CRAZY life I have been living.

My DH also knows that I am TOTALLY all about Donnie. He is my screen saver and has been for a while now and everytime DH walks in the office he says "GEEZ, you are 31 it is time to let go of the DREAM." I just smile and say "I am not ready yet". LOL

I hear ya, sista! It's a lot to go into but 2007 and 2008 have been the absolute hardest of my life. I keep thinking it's got to get better. But it doesn't look like it's going to be anytime soon. Dh's job is real shaky right now. No end in sight.

I am feeling exactly the same as you guys. This year has been terrible for my family. My husband got demoted from store manager to just selling furniture on straight commission, so you can imagine how much money he's been bringing home. My mom just got diagnosed with stage 3B lung cancer.

But, somehow, the boys are really helping me through this. They bring me back to a time when things were easier. I saw them 3 times this tour and the feeling that I got at the shows was indescribable. My DH is totally cool with my obsession, but I know that you guys are the only ones who truly understand the feeling.

Oh my gosh, you guys. It's been a rough day but coming on here and seeing these pics and hearing your stories, it has really helped me through it. Does that sound weird?

Thanks for the pics, those Jordan pics are unreal. How can one man be so darn HOT???

Okay, personal question....did anyone else's husband benefit from you going to the NKOTB concert? Mine sure did. As a matter of fact, when I got home from the first one he found out very quickly that I was all 'New Kids on the Blocked Up' as he called it. The second concert, when I got home, he was wearing cologne! I think he's learned to appreciate them specifically because of the reaction they evoke.

I came home from the show to a nervous husband. I had text and called him about the "rough crowd" at the show and he just wanted me to "not get stuck, get to the car safely and get home!" hehe.
I thought I got it bad from him before the concert, you should hear him now that "Twilight" is opening this week. He said between NKOTB and Twilight, I'm now a bigger "nerd" than him. Bring it!

I just showed my hubby the video of Jordan grabbing my hand, he shook his head at me and said he couldn't believe there was a Youtube video featuring Jordan Knight holding my hand. Then I showed him the video I made myself of JK singing Give It To You, he rolled his eyes.

Whatever! I told him he just needed to accept it because Jordan was and always will be my first love. He thinks I'm insane and I'm completely okay with that.

I am glad that other BHH (that's Blockhead Hubbies!) humor us with our little obsessions!

My DH is bravely putting up with me. A month after the concert, and I still mention it at least once a day. DH just rolls his eyes and let's me ramble on and on.

Shelby, that's all that I need to say

I love hearing how this reunion is affecting everyone here. It's inspiring. I have a story of my own that's pretty neat.

When the news broke that they guys were getting back together my friend and I were beside ourselves. We were friends back in high school, when NKOTB were big, and their music is the soundtrack to that time in our lives. We had a whole posse back then. She and I stayed close all these years but everyone else slipped away, you know how that goes.

Well, one day, right before the tickets went on sale, I get a friend request on my MySpace page from an old friend from high school. She said she heard about the reunion and HAD to find me. That lead to us finding other friends. That lead to Facebook. One request leads to another and before you know it, I have my old posse back!!! One of them was my old best friend, who was my maid of honor at my wedding. We had a falling out about 10 years ago and I haven't talked to her since. Well, that's all ancient history now I met up with her at the concert and it's like no time has passed at all. We've put the past in the past and are so happy to be reunited. I have my friend back!!!

One a side note, all this friend finding lead to posting of old pictures on the Facebook page, which made us all realize how much we miss each other. We started talking about a meet up because we're spread out across America. Somehow that lead to a full fledged multi year high school reunion. We are actually planning it right now! It will be next year in October and we already have almost 200 interested former classmates! It's amazing how all of this happened in the last two months. It's just so awesome!!!

So, here I am. I got my posse back. I got my old best friend back. I'm planning a high school reunion for four years worth of former students from my alma mater, and I got to feel 15 again at the concert for my favorite boy band of all time.

All this is because the New Kids on the Block reunited.

There is a lot of "that" going on at their shows, I believe that is why I didn't have a voice for a week and a half after my show.

I didn't have 5*, but I looked in to it several times. For the venues that I attended it was $375, Vegas was a little more. I think that price will likely go up if they continue the 5*. I hope not, but have a feeling it will. I am doing it next time if it is offered... I don't care how much I have to shell out!!!

I agree, the crowd goes wild whenever 'that' happens at the show. (myself included)

I agree, I don't care what the price of the 5* package is, I'm getting it! As a matter of fact, I told my friend if they announce tour dates while I'm on vacation it is her job to get those tickets!
