The only way to get a DC only package (without seaworld/aquatica or busch) is to buy a seasons pass to Aquatica, Seaworld or Busch gardens and use that pass to buy your DC tickets. This can really be a deal if you do NOT want to attend those parks since you only need to buy one seasons pass to buy all your DC tickets. There is a thread about that from a few days ago. I think they said with their pass they could get a dolphin package for $169 and a day guest package for $69 per person.
If when crunching the numbers for your family, this does not save you money, then just buy your DC day and don't worry about "wasting" the other things. Those are just an add on to help you not feel bad about spending so much for a day. Just realize it is a
full day experience. I was looking at the new AK tour and it is $250 for 3 hours.

I decided to go back to DC instead! We do use the extras for one day at Sea World, but if your time in Orlando is limited, then just forget that you have them!
