Discover 5% cash back for theme parks

I am new to Discover. Does the 5% cash back apply to buying my theme park tickets online through Disney or do you actually have to be at the theme park to get the 5% cash back?

Hi, Well I have done that...but have ordered from Disney. The first time they did it I did not get the 5Xcash back so sent them off and email and they made good on it , but have done it since and not had a problem I buy AP so it is a nice savings...Now my renewal is Jan and they usually do run that around that time... Good luck but they have always been very responsive if I have had an issue with something crediting... Over Christmas they had 10% at Best Buy so I ordered my Apple ipad from them and did not get the it was like 65 cause we got the wifi 3 g version...sent them off an email and next month I was credited... so I say what have you got to lose.

I Would love to know if others have been successful in purchasing tickets over the phone and getting the 5% back with Discover. I wonder if that would include MNSSHP tickets as well, since they are theme park admission? We will be at WDW in October and I would certainly make my purchase now!

I have ordered online only with Discover but I would think that it would be the same...the WDW should show up...as charge but I would think the MNSSHP tickets are theme park tickets too... you could always email and ask or call. It is easy to order online and get a voucher emailed to you...to take it to GS and get the tickets...

Thanks. I did chat with Discover online and was told they wouldnt be able to tell until I made the purchase but hopefully it will count!

If you still want to do that , I am not tech savy but save any info that you can copy or print that will show that is what the purchase was and then email them after or call again...good luck...

Hope this helps but when we ordered our MNSSHP tickets it showed up as "WDW Tickets " on our billing statement.
