Discounts on Universal Passes

universal has island of adventure and the studios, (which many just call universal,) only the two of them.

Costco has tickets to the three Universal Parks for $89.99 that are good for unlimited visits for three months.
That's a great deal but...there are only two parks...unless they are including Wet 'n Wild. Which parks does this special cover?

I saw a recommendation under the "Resorts" tab of this web site that if you are staying on-site for 3 or more days that it is beneficial for a member of your party to purchase an annual pass. It indicated that the savings you get from the benefits will more than offset the cost of the annual pass - discounts on purchasing other family member park tickets, at least a 10% discount on hotel rooms, free self-parking, discounts on certain merchandise and restaurants, etc. Anybody have any experience with this if you would only make one trip to Universal in that year? How does this work? Your purchase an annual pass and once you have it you then make your hotel reservations and purchase the other family member park tickets? Do you have do these directly with Universal or can you use an agent? Thanks for any responses.

If you get a Preferred AP (you don't want the Power AP..no discounts), you get more like 30% off hotel room. (Depending when you go, and if you have AAA, price might be comparable...again, depends when you go.) At dining and shopping..10% discount. You can purchase tickets at the gate for other family members at a discount, but the 7 day ticket for $95.xx is the best for right now (for 3+ days it'll be more than that). You have to purchase tickets at the gate...not thru an agency. You get free parking in the parking garage...not at the hotels. This also depends what time of the year you plan to visit. If it's busy season, you'll want to stay onsite to get unlimited Express Pass w/ your room key. You can purchase your AP and make your room res under APH rate. If you don't have your AP in hand when you check-in, just show them your voucher/receipt to pick up your AP and tell them you are on your way to the parks to pick it up :goodvibes We did that when we purchased our APs... They asked to see our AP at check in, showed them the voucher they sent us and told them we were on our way to pick it up...had no problem.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Costco 3-park tix, but I'm only finding the typical 7-day unlimited pass and not a 3-month unlimited offer. Still a great deal, as I doubt if I'd be back within 3 months anyway, but is anyone else seeing that?

I must have missed it. I can't find any tickets for Universal Orlando on the Costco website. (?)

I seem to recall at one time seeing a 7-day Universal ticket offer that included Sea World tickets. I think it was on the Universal site, and similar to the recent special they offered that included tickets to Wet&Wild. Anyone else remember this deal? I'm hoping I'm not imagining it, and also that it might come back again sometime this year.

Nifty16, would it be the Orlando Flex Ticket you are referring to? It includes unlimited access for 14 days to Universal, IOA, CityWalk, SeaWorld, Wet-n-Wild, Aquatica with a Busch Gardens option. As far as I've seen, that one is still available (ck places like undercover tourist, etc).

No, it wasn't the flex ticket. It was like the ticket they're offering on-line now (7-day, $94), and included a Sea World ticket.

Hmmm...the only ticket I remember that included the SW ticket was the Orlando Flex Ticket. Do you have a link to the ticket you're talking about?

I don't have a link. On the Universal site, they are currently offering a 7-day ticket for 94.99. A few months ago, they offered this same deal plus a free Wet&Wild ticket. I'm referring to a deal, probably in the past year or so, that included a free Sea World ticket. Maybe I'm not remembering correctly.

Oh OK...I remember the ticket that included WnW but not SW. Universal owns WnW so they can offer the free ticket deals but not for SW.

Does anyone have the Coke UPC codes for the $99 Universal annual pass they can share? I live in PA but own a vacation condo in Fl. Will I be able to use the pass without a FL license? Do they check?

Does anyone know if you can buy discounted 1 day/ 2 park tickets for others using the basic annual pass voucher. My sons are bringing their girlfriends in June {our family of four have the basic annual passes} and we offered to pay for their passes.

Yes...Passholders can purchase up to six tickets each with the AP discount for family/friends. Those can be purchased at the gate.

Thanks. Do you happen to know how much of a discount the annual pass gives to a one day/2 park ticket? I think AAA's price is $83.00.

The AP discount is 10% off the one park ticket and 15% off the two park ticket. This is based on the current ticket prices.
