Discounts on Universal Passes

Is the guest services at the park inside the park or outside the park?

Sooooo, if they are inside the park, then I'd use the paper ones the first time,...go to GS ....and have them switched over to a plastic card (or whatever)....?

inside...and yes

not hard plastic...coated cardstock is more like it

when sunshine said the PLASTIC card, i thought....:confused3

uo uses what you said.

i started to think, what universal changed their passes and didn't tell me...

it's always been the coated card.

Sorry, I just assumed it was plastic.

Doesn't matter what it is...as long as I'm not having to carry around 3 sheets of paper all the time. (scared they will get ruined)

Thanks everyone

you know, i hate to carry paper around in my pockets also.

on laundry day if i forget to check pockets on everyone's jeans, i usually end up with little pieces of paper clinging to everything ..............then have to rewash those clothes again.......oh snap

My thought was that the water rides would get them wet (then they wouldn't be able to read them if they have to scan them or whatever they do), or I would get all sweaty......he he

Has anyone heard of a code for US/IOS that you can purchase discount tickets for around $40 and some change. For access to both parks after 2pm.

Heck...seems like I remember reading that somewhere, but cannot find those tickets anywhere. Maybe it was my imagination...

i saw it on ebay that way dont know if i want to true it or not but i saw it. Is 2-10 long enough to do both parks though???

Ebay is where I saw it also. We will be returning from a cruise and we were looking for something to do on that day before heading home the following day.

This has been a crazy summer for me. Needless to say I forgot to go online and purchase my tickets for my upcoming trip to get the good prices on the tickets. Now they are showing $94.99 for the 2 park unlimited ticket with an admission into Wet-N-Wild.($103.16 with tax) I also found through a link on the DisBoards to Dreams Unlimited for 89.99 plus fees and tax which comes out to 97.99 total-no Wet-N-Wild admission. On the Universal website with tax the tickets are $103.16 but you also get an I am really kicking myself for not buying the tickets earlier this summer! My trip isn't until December. Should I wait and hope that the prices will go back down or are they expected to go up again?

We are going the first week of December and I'm holding out for something better.
May happen/maybe not
I'm thinking they may want to attract people in the off season.

About 3 years ago, they had buy a ticket and get a free ticket. :hippie:

I doubt prices will go DOWN....especially with Simpsons just opened and Harry Potter and Rip Ride and Rock It coming..... that's like waiting to see if Disney tickets go down.... :sad2:

Rumor has it that every other year, they offer buy 1 year AP, get 1 year free. IF they are holding true to that, this would be the fall season they offer it....but, of course, since i said that, they probably won't offer it.

We have APs and my DH was thinking of not renewing in Feb  Told him it's only $107 to renew them, and if you check 2 park/2 day tickets, the price is about the same or more (eventually gate prices will go up!)

He saw things my way and said, 'may as well renew' :teeth:

How much is an AP for a family of 2 adults/1 child (age 7)?

Also...I read somewhere about the new rollercoaster. When is it supposed to open?

just pull up the uo website and click on it.
you will find the ap info there.
a rate increased in the spring so i don't know until i renew this fall

Renewal rate is $110 + tax now

Got my renewals this week.

I guess a $10 increase after 4 years of no increases isn't bad :p

I opted to use the ticket kiosk after taking advantage of the Master card special offer. Had no trouble what so ever getting my tickets. My only wonder is this...............we never activited the 5th ticket. Is it still good?
