Discounts for Hertz?

Hertz seems so pricey (maybe that is why it is called HertZ? ) but would be convenient for us since we will be staying at Universal and Hertz is on site. Any ideas how to get a lower rate? We are AAA.

AAA gets a good discount at Hertz. I use Hertz all the time with no problems. Be sure to sign up for their #1 Club. They also have some AAA specials. Check the Hertz website.

You may also check out rentalcodes.com or bnm.com/joe.htm for other Hertz codes. Most of the codes are not that great (maybe 10 - 15% off) or $ off, but every little bit helps sometimes.

Under the CDP you have to enter your AAA club code. It is the first 3 digits on your AAA card. For example, Hartford is 007, so you can enter 7.
