Discounts during Thanksgiving week?

Are there ever any room discounts during the week of Thanksgiving (sat. before to sat. after)? We would like to stay at the GF but the AAA rates still seem really high. Is this as good as it gets for this week? Thanks for the help!

is that AAA rates during peak and holiday time will only be 10% below rack rate. So yes, i do think that will be as good as it gets. It just seems that they don't need to offer discounts when people are coming during the prime time days. Keep your eyes open as it gets closer for any of these discount codes i've been reading about. We are going the week before the spring break week in April and we still only got 10% off at the Contemp.

Fortunately Thanksgiving weekend is not marked up. It is value rate.

However, in November 01, I think we got AP rates at All-Star Sports of about 59 per night. It might have been Disney Club rates, but there was a discount.

we got a code rate t-day week 2002. We paid 139.00/nite for a Ft. Wilderness cabin. The rack rate I believe was about 250.00/nit, so I thoufgt it was a pretty good deal. We were there the sat.-weds that week , then switched to Hard Rock Hotel for Wed-Sat. for our USF/IOA part of the trip. I got the entertainment rate for HRH (125.00/nite..1/2 off!). I even added an extra nite and and extra room at HRH the week before we arrived and got the discount for that nite/room too!!! I would book at the lowest rate available now, then watch closely for discount codes. They will change your rate later if you call them! Good luck!
