Discounts coming?

Well..I waited for about 40 minutes. I had to change my dates anyway so I thought Id wait. Online in showed that our current room was not available. When I called it was and somehow it saved us 300.00 from what we were quoted before. I asked if it was the SPD package and she said YES but asked if there was an additional discount added..she said No..so..whatever it was, the call saved us an additional 300.00 somewhere.

Hi everyone! We have our trip booked at a moderate for end of May but am hoping to switch it to deluxe if I get a room discount. I'm getting a bit discouraged about an April-May discount. This waiting for a discount to come out is brutal.

I called and received the same price as the SPD promo...so no free dining for me.

The CM told me it was free dining and I kept telling her it was not. She finally conceded when she priced out just room and tickets and it ended up being about $300 less than what she quoted me.

There are 4 of us...2 adults 2 children ages 15 & 12 (turning 13 while we are there). We booked Port Orleans Riverside. Which does not show up as available online.

Have the LM rooms at AofA been excluded from discounts previously?

They were not included in the PIN that I got for parts of April, May and June. I am pretty sure it was the only thing that was listed as not included actually.

Can I join you all on the (not so patient) wait for discounts!

We have a current rack-rate package booked for May 22-28 at POR. We haven't stayed on site since our Honeymoon in 2004 so I'm REALLY looking forward to being back on Disney property! This waiting game for discounts is killing me though!! I'm also not use to planning a trip this far in advance. Last May we booked only 6 weeks in advance so waiting 180+ days is torture!! Here's hoping a decent discount comes out soon!
