REALLY?? That should be a rule. Something great HAS to happen on the birthday of the man who started it all. And what better then DISCOUNTS so MORE families can come and experience the magic...........

I was just on the live chat too, and my CM named Gia said the same thing to me, just worded it a little differently. Something along the lines of "check back tomorrow to see if anything magical happened"

Go to the wdw website.

Plug in dates for a package and get a quote. A window should pop up asking if you want to chat.

I agree. I also think many of those cast members are aware of the talk that goes on in these forums, and they might be having a little fun with those responses to try back tomorrow

What about renting points from someone for a DVC stay? And then can you still buy a meal plan? I'm trying to think of alternative options if no discounts for March or April 2013. My husband really doesn't want to get nickled and dimed for food, etc. like last time and wants the dining plan.

I can't even bring myself to make reservations b/c I have a fear that I won't get a pin code if I do. My kids want to stay in a LM room at AOA ( no discounts there) so we will do that if we don't get a discount for a mod. I know I can't wait too long to book the LM rooms, so I am hoping the codes come soon!

I know if you go through David's rentals you can still get the dining plan, but in not sure if you rent privately. I'm also not sure of David's website name. If you google "WDW David's rentals" his site should be the first one. That is what I'm doing for my trip in May

Yes, if the person renting to you wants to offer it, they can order a Dining Plan for you. You just have to pay them for that as well.

I just tried to call Disney and for the first time ever the message said "we are experiencing higher than normal call volume..if your not traveling within 24-48 please try back tomorrow"???????????????????????

Yes, the LM rooms are known to be excluded from discounts b/c they are so booked up. You can get them for the suites. I couldn't even get AAA discount for LM this summer.
