Discounts are here for these dates April 2011 - October 2011 - Save up to 40%

Just booked our September trip. WL here we come!!!

how is the wilderness lodge? I have been to the Whispering Canyon Cafe there, it looked pretty interesting. I guess I am interested in how spread out it is and do they have a food court instead of just sit down restaurants?

Have a great trip:goodvibes

WooHoo!!

Just changed our free dining reservation @ POR to 5 nights YC club level & 2 nights GF outer club with the new discounts!! :cool1: I had only booked the free dining as a backup in case a room discount didn't come up.

We've never stayed at GF before. Should have done it other years when they had 40% off codes. Thought I'd better try it now with the 35% off. You never know, one day they might actually stop with these great deals.

Since I had an existing reservation, I just called to modify it after I had checked price & availibilty online. There was NO wait for an agent. "Lucinda" was wonderful. She did everything quick & easy. Very competent. On the phone about 15 mins total. She was so happy for us. Kept saying she was jealous of our dream vacation!!

Off to learn more about GF!! :goodvibes

Than we must have talked to the same Lucinda.:thumbsup2
She was wonderful and so helpful. Hope she reads here also(lots of CM do) and knows we appreciated her so much.

We love the WL! To us it doesn't really seem that spread out. We like staying in a Woods View room. Two years ago we were in a woods view room overlooking bay lake. We were able to watch the Electric Water Pagent from our balcony every night.

Roaring Forks is their counter service. It's smaller than most counter service areas but we only pop down there in the morning to grab something to eat or get a drink and take it back to our room.

We have a AAA ressie for May 19-25 at BWI CL. Our agent just call and got us additional $1200 off our stay. :thumbsup2

Good afternoon! I've glanced over the posts while on my lunch break and was curious about something...I didn't see this mentioned so I thought I'd ask you guys. ;)

I was able to modify our reservation on 1/1 with the YW3 for the 20% off at POFQ. I see today the code is TSU on the Disney site? I realize it's the same % off, however does this matter in any way? I remember reading a lot of posters over the weekend were told the YW3 was tied in to AAA which is funny because I originally booked room only with Disney with a AAA rate.

I just don't want to have any issues and I'm one of those that still has not received an email confirmation yet, although the new amount and balance due is accurately reflected on the Disney website.

Just curious... :confused3

Thanks,
Heather

I took advantage of the discount, too. I was originally at All-Star Music from the 4/28-5/2 for Cheerleading Worlds. I tried to apply this discount and because the resort is full, they cannot apply the discount. I couldn't move to Sports or Movies, they too were booked.

I was able to apply the discount to Pop Century. I saved over $150 by moving from ASMu to POP.

thanks! It appears that the nights of 4/27-30 happen to fall within the week following Easter so some resorts accept the code and discount, while others don't.

Before I called to change my reservation and get the discount, I went through the link on the WDW reservations page under "Special Offers". When I called a CSR to make the change I just mentioned that the discount is located under "Special Offers" on the WDW website. There are so many variations of the codes I've seen posted that I thought it would easier for her to find the discount that way, as opposed to say "try this code, then try this code..."

I just modified the POFQ ressie (ticketless AP pkg with basic DDP) that I had booked at rack rate for April 30th-May 1st using the TSU code. At first she told me the TSU code was not a valid code, then realized she'd entered a Y instead of an U.:rolleyes1 She then told me that since I had an AP the new code didn't help me, since I'd be required to buy 9 day tickets for everyone in the room. When I told her all we needed to buy were one day tickets, she just kept insisting that I was wrong, that she had worked there for over a year and to get the DDPs you always had to buy length of stay tickets (unless you were using an AP discount). When I told her that as AP holders we've always been able to use the public codes buying only one day park tickets (except free dining required 2 day park tickets) she basically called me a liar, said that had never been allowed, and if a CM allowed it, they were wrong. As I was getting ready to hang up and call back, hoping for another CM, she finally told me to hold a minute and she'd verify her information just to make double sure. In a few minutes she came back on, apologized, said I was right and gave me the correct total. She seemed most concerned that she had been telling people for over a year, that they had to buy length of stay tickets in order to get the DDP and said she never realized the DDP was tied to the resort stay, not the park tickets (obviously not a DISer).:rotfl:

With the discount being less at POFQ and having to buy two one day tickets we don't need, the new deal only saved us $158.16, but I'm still hoping an AP discount comes out that can beat it. PORS had standard rooms available and would have been a little cheaper, but we prefer POFQ to PORS. No standard rooms were available at CSR or CBR.:confused3 CSR had only waterview and king beds and CBR had only Pirate rooms and king beds.:confused3

Yes, she was great! I thanked her several times. I also did the survey at the end of the call & gave her the highest marks. :)

Good luck to everyone calling! Hope you all get your dream vacations booked, too. :goodvibes

CBR is a host resort for Cheerleading Worlds, being held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Center that weekend, from 4/29-5/1. That may be why CBR only has pirates rooms available and NO availability at any of the All-Star resorts, except the family rooms at Music for that weekend.

Also, Easter is late this year, on April 24th. So double whammy for all those going to Disney for Easter, then the latter part of the week Cheerleading Worlds.

Look at the bright side- then no one else can book either so its not like your dates/resort/room category will sell out :goodvibes

After all of the anticipation, my travel agent finally gets through only to discover they aren't offering the discount on 3 bedroom Treehouse Villas. We could have gotten a 2 bedroom Villa at Saratoga, but we have 1 too many people in our party to downgrade....total bummer :furious:

So is these any difference between the codes TSU and YW3?

I am so glad I checked this out yesterday. However, I called this morning intending to just keep my reservations at POR and of course I asked for the price of the Beach Club. I caved in and switched to the Beach Club. :rolleyes1 We haven't been there yet so I am quite excited.

Hi Everyone,
I reserved a room at the GF in May using the YW3 code which I got from the DISboards! Thank-you! On the Disneyworld website, I see that the same offer as YW3 goes by the code JX6. Is YW3 a code that the general public can use? I don't want any problem when I go to check-in and they ask for some PIN number, which I haven't received. So, is YW3 for everyone, and why does the website have JX6? Where did YW3 come from? So many questions, but I just want to make sure I won't encounter any problems at the front desk! Thanks!

Yes anyone can use the YW3 code. So when you call the Disney Reservation Center just tell the Cast Member to enter it on their computer. If my family and I along with everyone else had no problems using it then you shouldn't either.

The discount was perfect for me....saved $800 at beach club and changed from standard to garden view! So excited! :yay:

I am glad I knew about the codes when I called to get prices. Unfortunately my CM did not know about the codes but when I read everything off to her she was able to give me new prices. I am trying to find rates for 2 families traveling together so I didnt book but I hope to soon! Thanks to those way smarter than me who find this informaiton and are willing to share!
