I'm confused about how to add a package (dining and tickets) to this deal. Is there a separate code? How does it work? Can I book it through a TA or do I need to do it directly w/Disney?

TIA!

Meg

You just have to book a room and tell them you want to add tix and dining and they turn it into a package, it's very easy! I don't know about a TA, I always book directly through Disney. You will have to pay a $200 deposit when booking a package and the final payment of the entire package is due 45 days before your vacation!

I booked my package through a TA with the new code. An Authorized Disney Vacation Planner should already know the code and exactly how to do this. :goodvibes

I saw some previous posts where the posters said they did not receive email confirmation of their reservations. We made our reservations back on Saturday 1/1/11 and we still have not received an email confirmation! I called tonight and used the annoying automated system and our confirmation # and they have our reservation. In addition, our profile on www.disney.com has the correct email address. So if you have your conf # and have not received a confirmation email, call (shouldn't have to though).

Have been waiting since Saturday for our email confirmation as well. We have called 5 times to have them send us one and still nothing. Maybe there is something wrong with their system?

I finalized my room only reservation with a code yesterday and did not receive a confirmation email but when I checked my reservation online with the confirmation number my new reservation was listed correctly there.

Did you try looking up your reservation number on the WDW resort reservations website?

Dumb question, but have you checked your SPAM folder?

call and ask the CM to check your ressie number.
let them know you are still waiting for the confirming email.

in all my excitement yesterday when i booked, i forgot to ask for my confirmation number for what i booked.............

i was making a ressie for room only and was told i had a pin of 40% off the room.

after i heard that and booked with the cc, i just rambled with the CM.......

later that evening, i called reservations and told them i forgot to get my ressie #.
they looked it up by name and address and gave it to me.
today i received the confirming email of that ressie.

I just booked.

August 20 - 27
All Star Music
$521.24 (includes tax)
Room only

I might change to Dolphin/Swan if I can get a deal there. I will wait until the dates are closer as I don't want to book anything that is not cancelable.

I called at about 4:30p today and booked. My dates are May 5-13. CM gladly took the YW3 code. He thoroughly explained that only certain blocks of rooms are allocated to the discount, and checked my dates for CBR. Sadly all that played nice were the pirate theme rooms, which I had no interest in. I almost ended the call to redraw my plans but entertained his suggestion to try other Moderates. I had also been considering PORS, so he checked and yay! DISboards and OP, you saved me $400, thanks!

This'll be sort of a surprise part of my wife's 30th bday in a few days, and will fall over our son's 4th. First time our family is visiting WDW as foursome without the grandparents. Fun times ahead :goodvibes

Thanks again!!!

We will be going the same dates only staying at POFQ and we live near Hershey also:thumbsup2

Wondering if the PIN for room only would be better than our current FD. We're booked for 2 rooms at AsMo June 2-8, 6 people (only 1 considered a child by Disney). We upgraded from QSDP to DDP, but my DH would love to get out of the Value resort category, he's such a snob!:rolleyes1 i just don't think a room discount would help as much as free dining since we have to get 2 rooms everywhere except the $$$ villas!

some email pin codes were sent out today.

hopefully some will be recieving them.
they are good for 2011 on certain dates with room discounts up to 40% at select resorts......

don't ask how i know...............

well.........i still can't believe it but i got another pin today.

yea, the email pin code showed up in my box this afternoon.
me, the most unlucky one around gets 2 different type of pins within 2 days.

Yep, pulling an all-nighter on I95. But hey, that's what double strength coffee and anticipation is for, right?

Not us leaving the 4th spending the night in GA and then headed in on the 5th now on the way back could be a different story depending on when we leave FL

You helped our family save over $1000.00 on our trip this may to the Animal Kingdom Lodge!!!!!!!!!

:thumbsup2 :cool1: :worship:  :yay: :woohoo: :cheer2: :flower3:

Probably smarter than my goal. Few years back I tried PA to Ft Lauderdale and after about 17hrs (w/stops) we gave up at Jacksonville. Hoping night time will limit stops (a sleeping fam) and traffic (cursed DC-Richmond!)... but it's admitedly sort of an experiment!

Congrats bcnorth! I'm used to piggy backing on my inlaws timeshares past few visits, this is the first time I've booked a Disney resort out of pocket... the discounts are apparently pretty epic!
