Discount ressie poll

I am a non-pin/email/postcard recipient that got the discount.

Either way, I am an AP VOUCHER holder (and prior AP holder) who called 10 times in 6 days, plus had someone else call and try for me. Not able to book. Dates are within the limits and flexible, hotels are flexible.

The most disturbing part of this poll is the fact that the last 2 options are where the majority of peple fall into.

I received an email from Disney Destination with the long pin Number, called and booked POFQ for 2 weeks, no problem.

I did not receive an email or postcard and have been told that I do not have the PIN attached to my file, so do not qualify for any discounts, as the 30%-40% room discounts are NOT general public discounts. I'm also an AP holder who has called multiple times and am flexible with my dates and resorts.

I just booked mine 20 minutes ago using the room only code. I can't believe I got it but hope it sticks. I got the Poly for $221 a night including tax!

I called and inquired as to whether a pin was attached to my name...there was no pin. I inquired about rates for my expected dates anyhow, thanked the reservation CM, and hung up. I then booked through AAA and at least got some discount.

I'm not upset that I didn't get the pin because that is marketing and a spin on the roulette wheel...what I am upset about is that some people are being allowed to book with the code without having the pin and some people are being told that they are not allowed to, even as early as this morning (according to some reports on these boards).

I called the first time, and was able to get the discount on a value room. At the time, it didn't seem like it was that great a deal because I had her quote me a whole package with dining instead of just the room cost. The second time I called, I didn't get it. I really only need a room for one night at the beginning and end of my stay, since we have a timeshare for 7 nights. I should have kept the first cm on the phone longer and run through different options....instead, I wanted to get off the phone and crunch numbers myself!

when I called to ask I had a pin code under my name for select dates and could use the code until March 15. It was a great rate and now we are going back to the POLY!

DaisyD looks like we might be there around the same time. What are your dates? Our are October 3-11th. We plan on going to MNSSHP the 4th or 5th most likely.

We are going Sept 28-October 8. We always do MNSSHP the first week of October too.

I called and asked if I gave a code could they check if I could use it. The CM checked and said it was a general use code, so I got 40% off my room only ressie at the POFQ.

I called and asked if I was eligible for any discounts or if I had a pin attached to my name. CM checked, said no to pin, but did some digging (like 5 minutes worth), then applied something, I got 40% off, but have NO clue what code he used.

We are going Sept 28-October 8. We always do MNSSHP the first week of October too.

We have 8 long months, your lucky you get to go in summer too. Have fun at AG Place in NY it is so much fun, we took DD when she turned 5 and had a ball. Be sure to visit the doll salon. Maybe we will see at the Poly, save us a room in Samoa .

Didn't get the code, tried calling twice but they wouldn't give it to me. I did however, get 40% off at Pop Century in Sept. through a travel agent.
