Discount on MVMCP Dates

Anyone know which dates will be discounted of the DVC/AP Holders?

Correct, tickets go on sale May 1. I thought that we would have seen pricing by mid April, but Disney apparently has decided not to release them yet.

If they will not have DVC pricing at the time they go on sale 5/1, does that mean there is a chance the date(s) I'm hoping to get will be sold out? Do they sell full price tix first before offering them to DVC members????

Boy! They are really socking it to us this time. $56 on premium dates? Given the current economic conditions I'm not sure we will be attending one of these events this year.

Is it true that if you have a MVMCP you can enter MK after a certain time and not need a park ticket for that day?
I have a couple relatives meeting us for MVMCP and if they dont need a park ticket that would save a lot of $$ and headache (on my part)

Yes, if you have you MVMCP tickets, the party starts @ 7p, however the CMs usually starte letting you into MK w/ the MVMCP tickets around 4p. (we got in around 5 ish for P&PP. The CMs didn't even want the 'regular' ticket.

so if I make ADR's at Tony's for 5:00 or 5:30 we should all be able to get in to MK with (or without) park tix as long as we have the MVMCP tix.

that's how it worked for us (we had ressis for CP @ 5:15) & I have seen several posters say the same thing. 4pm the CMs start letting you in w/ the 'party tix'.

Yes, they did have a similar higher price for certain nights, for the past two years. It was usually Fridays.

They just didn't call it premium/non-premium. They called it Gate price and Advance purchase price and didn't offer advance purchase price on certain nights.

I think they are trying to simplify things AND I'm afraid also take away the discounts. I hope I'm wrong.

Anxiously awaiting........pretty steep increase-given the state of the economy. We'll still do it as we haven't done MNSSHP & that's one of the reasons for going at this time of year, I think Disney might lose the repeaters

Last year all events were the same price the day of the event. This year day of prices vary depending on date.
