Discount NYE ?

Does anyone know if you can get discounted rates in the Christmas week? Looking for 30/31st Dec 05 when the rates come out. Did anyone get a discounted rate this year?

I can get a price of $239 now through Virgin Holidays for a standard room inc parking and other free stuff. Does this sound a good price?

There are not usually any discounts..so I would go for it.
