Discount in April

Historically I know that there have been discounts for April.. But does anyone know if it depends on when Easter falls? I looked up Mousesavers and in 2011 there were alot of discounts but not as much in 2012. This year Easter is very early, will that mean the discount will come out earlier??
We booked for April 9th.. But last year the discount looked like it was for later than April 9th.. We booked a moderate but really want to stay at a deluxe.. We just don't know if we should book deluxe and hope for the discount or keep the mod and hope for availability..
Last year I booked deluxe and prayed for a discount, which I got.. 2 times the charm??

I think you'd be better checking the weeks following Easter, instead of checking dates. I.E., check if there were discounts in previous years for the weeks following Easter.

Yes, I did that. The past 2 years we went in mid-April and there were discounts.. These were like 3 weeks after Easter..
