For those of you that have DISCON buddies...

What are you doing with your discon buddy?
I asked Scarlet873 better known as Brandie what her favorite character was... "Dumbo" and her DH's "Grumpy" and I'm going to get a little stuffed or plastic Dumbo and Grumpy and take pictures like those people that steal the gnomes and travel across the country and send pictures back of places the gnome has been.

Enquiring minds want (need) to know. Where is our budding reporter when you need him? Probably off playing around at WDW instead of here on the job.

We bought ourselves an early Christmas present--a camcorder! So we are going to take lots of film and make a great video of as many of the events we can to send to our buddies. We figured we'd pick up postcards and maps and stuff while we're there to send as well. We plan to make a phone call during our 50s Prime Time mini-meet so people can all say hi and my buddy can HEAR all the fun!

I have also been thinking about getting autograph books to collect character autographs and fellow Dis Conners' autographs for our buddies.

We are also planning a little surprise, but we can't talk about that here!!!

I have 2 buddies Wagamama and Debster812. Post cards, pictures, little trinkets, et. al. Debster asked me to pick up a GOH badge for her DS, which I will most certainly do.

I've got a couple of other "secret" ideas that I'm saving just for my buddies too.

Ray, why don't you put a post on the Community Board seeing if anyone else would like a DIS-CON buddy? Nancy started the arrangement and then had to step down. There might be non attendees who missed the sign ups. Good luck.

I have two discon buddies tc & Preshi, i have a little surpise planned but im also going to make badges with their photos on and wear them to all the meets. I will also collect maps and menus for them as well as take lots of photos.

What can I do to help you feel the experience of DIS-CON-II?

I could mail you a letter every day with something in it from WDW that we did that day.

Is it possible to send mail to cruise boat...lol.

I can use one camera to just take pictures for you like the other buddies are doing. What could I hold up in the picture to represent you? Maybe a small stuffed WDW character or something else to represent you? Then I could mail it to you afterwards.

I could send you all the Guidemaps and MVMCP, CP, and DIS-CON literature that I get.

What ride or rides or event would you like to participate in?

What would you like to do at DIS-CON-II. I'll sign up for any DIS-mini-meet that you would like to be a part of...lol.

Oh...my real name is RaySharpton, and I'll have my WebTV with me at the beautiful WDW Dolphin to communicate by e-mail or pm on the DIS.

I'm getting ready to go to sleep for work this evening, and I usually don't get back on the DIS until Monday night.
I say this just in case you e-mail me or pm me. I also turn off my phone ringer since I sleep during the day and work 12-14 hour nights. I do have a Bellsouth memory call type recording.

As a matter of fact, I can't believe that I haven't gone to sleep yet...lol. But I'm so excited to have a DIS-CON-II buddy, I'm not sleepy anymore.

That is to bad. Did you try email? With the email notifications in and out or maybe turned off, maybe SWM didn't get it. I know I have sent PM's to people who had no clue what the PM system was. Or just start a new thread on the CB board looking for her. If that doesn't work, oh well. Good luck
