Where in Southern California? I lived at the beach! Hermosa, Manhattan and Redondo!

I lived in So. Cal for 5 years, we lived in Palos Verdes and LA (1mi east of Bev Hills). I can't say that I miss it much, except right now when it's freezing cold here, but I'm a midwestern girl so glad to be home.

I also have a DD8 named Megan. I made a Valentine Bag that I will post pics of as soon as a get a chance.

Love everyone's new creations. I really love this board to help keep me motivated to do stuff.

I am uploading the fabric sausage pictures right now I took a ton as there was ALOT of pieces- also when I put it into the corner of the door I realized it is about 4 1/2 foot not 3 1/2- It is huge!!!!

Here is DD's Valentine's Day peasant top. It was my first attempt at shirring! I am going to make her some ruffle jeans to go with it, but she couldn't wait to wear the top to school. I had intended to make the sleeves long but she wanted them short. Then she decided that's it's way too cold for shorter sleeves and had to wear a tee under it.

BEYOND cute! And the shirt's adorable too!

Hey Girls-

I have not checked out the new thread because I have been sewing like the wind for our trip. We leave Feb 29th. I still have a lot to do but I thought I would show everyone what I have been working on.

Here you go . . . oh and I have managed to keep the trip a surprise!!!

These I re-did. They are one of the first things I every made. The babes dress was too long so I shortened it. The girls will be wearing these to Epcot and the Coral Reef.

These are for the Crystal Palace. The backs are really cute.

This skirt is for the Grand Adventure Pirate Cruise. DD will wear it with black Chucks and Mickey red and white pirate ears. I think I will just do a plain tank.

This is a random Vday skirt.

This is for the Wonderland Tea Party. The pink fabric has Alice, the Cheshire Cat and the White Rabbit on it.

Here are the girls skirts for Fantasmic.

This is for Chef Mickey's. The babies is going to be a little different.

This is DD's Snow White cocktail skirt. I am going to do an Apple applique shirt.

This was a request from DD. I am bringing it just in case.

Here is the Belle cocktail skirt. DD is wearing this with a hot fix Belle shirt that should be here any day!!!

WOW its been a bit since I have posted on this thread.. well not this one (dur!) But How I have missed it. NOW I have to catch up on here too! YIKES!

Georiga's 6th birthday is coming up and her party is on the 10th! She is having a hearts and skulls party. hahaha that is my rocker kid. So I have some pirate fabric to make her something with. not totally sure yet, but Um I am running out of time.

I just started working again too, and in the evening no less. so I dont have my night time sewing anymore. NOW its just the few hours before Georiga gets out of school!!

Everyones newest creations look sooo great! When I get done or at least figure out what I am going to make I will post it.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ask for an itemized list, but I thought if I could get fabric for a penny I would actually sew for less than it costs to buy, like I told my husband, lol!

Wait, how do you get elastic for so cheap? I spend a fortune on elastic!

I buy the prepackaged kind. It has a paper band around it. That's what I have always bought. I don't mind giving itemized lists. I was very proud of the cost of that outfit. DD loved it when she tried it on this morning. So that made me even happier at the price.



Thank you all for the compliments. My grandparents saw both of the outfits and have requested that I make a duplicate for DD's cousin. I told them that I could do the Valentine's one again (I had a ton of fabric left over for some reason) but the other would cost me alot more than DD's did. So I don't think that I will be remaking that one.

I'm feeling a little pixie dust spreading is in order- There is no way I'm going to use it all. I still have much of the last Sausage I picked up but I just couldn't pass it up!!
So here is what I will do anyone interested PM me- I will draw 3 names around midnight. I'll let you pick what you want- say 3-4 pieces to each winner. I'll post some more pics of what I have left from the previous one too- It is just getting to crowded in my limited sewing space!!

This was all fabric you got at was it Hancock Fabrics? How much of each fabric is there? Can you get it online?

I don't think I share the same store with any of you so I feel safe to share my source-
It is from Hancocks- right in the front by the check out they had it laying on the floor, by the buttons.
Most of the pieces were at least a fat quarter or larger some were smaller though.
