I kind of liked the idea of cutting a lot of the face off. It gives it a more edgy look (or something) This is the large Cinderella from the Wal-Mart pillowcase. The other side of the pillowcase did have 3 smaller princesses.
I mainly wanted to get lips and eyes in and have her still be recognizable as Cinderella.

This is one of my favorite ones that has been posted. I so copied that picture the first time I saw it!
I think that Cinderella works well that way. I think its a little harder with Aurora or Ariel. Doable, but harder.

The directions said to buy one yard of each type of fabric, which I did. But then I was supposed to cut a stip that was like 80 inches long. One yard isn't long enough for that. Was I supposed to sew two strips together to make one strip? Because it wasn't long enough, it's not very "twirly."
So, inspire by you all I got a pattern and made 4 of them (2 sets with $1 a yard fabric (the first two I made) and two with nicer $2 a yard fabric from
Haven absoluted loved seeing the characters. Goliath spent about 10 minutes playing on the floor with her.
