But I do not have enough fabric. I went to :wizard: and there is a lady selling some, but she is not sure if she has enough etc.
eekkkkk

lori
Wish i could help, but I asked at the Hancock's here and they said that it was discontinued and that they diddn't even have any left in the warehouse. Good Luck.
I LOVE that outfit! That pattern looks super cute...hmmm...could I ask which pattern it is? I LOVE that fabric too! It looks so much more expensive than it actually was!

This is the picture of the pattern. It's a New Look #6613. It was actually recommended by a fellow Disboutiquer.

Ok I finally finished DD's Peep's Easter Dress.
S2010075.jpg

I used one of my vintage patterns for this one. I think it turned out really great.

This is my best tip for anyone who hates putting button holes on a shirt or dress: Buy a set of snap pliers (I think that is what it is called). They cost about $8. They make it so easy to avoid doing buttons and they also do eyelets.

Okay Buzz Lightyear fans here it is - the green Buzz Lightyear petal skirt!!

Sorry the pictures are so big. It's a pretty full skirt and it was fun to make because I was able to pull some old blue fabric I had to use under the petals. I think I have to redo the tulle because it's not as dramatic as dd5 wants it to be.

Well one project down...now I'm off to the blue butterfly shorts.

Cute! I knew you could to it. Georgia looks so pretty.

I saw it, I saw it, I saw it, nahnahnahnahnahnah!!!! AND she even let Lydia try it on! Tessa was NOT happy about that! But she sure looked pretty in it! Let's just say, Heather is very clever!

Poor Tessa! When do we get to see it?

:snooty: I am a weather snob, I am sorry.

I'm so behind here...this is fantastic! Again, I LOVE to see stuff for boys! How difficult was this? My boys BEG me to make them stuff and jammies would be perfect! These turned out GREAT! And your ds is super handsome...especially w/the Zac Efron hair! ;)

Thanks! It was super easy. The pattern is Simplicity #3577. I bought some more fabric to make another one for him. I will not pass along your comment about the hair because it drives me crazy! :rotfl:

Super cute! I love the easter egg fabric. The last time I was in I was looking at the pliers but I was scared because I am not mechanically inclined. They are easy to use?

That looks great and I love how full it is! I bet she will have fun twirling in it.

The outfit looks great, and glad that you got the pants fixed. Georgia is adorable!

I love this so much!!! That is really great!!! You can do so much with that peasant dress pattern. I am making our oldest neice a Snow White outfit, and Heather suggested that I use the peasant pattern for that. I'm thinking now that she had a very good idea!!!

Your daughter is SOOOO gorgeous!!! She reminds me of one of my other neices. Soo beautiful!!!

Thanks! It's the first time I made CarlaC's peasant pattern and I really love it! After I made the Cinderella's dress, I was thinking that it could work really well for Snow White as well.

Misty and Jayedyn just left from their photo shoot....

Love those outfit...especially the St. Patrick day's outfit and the Tinker belle. I have some of those crying pictures as well....your girls are beautiful!!

I am still getting PM's trickling in for my give away.:goodvibes

Reminder: This is sized a 4T to a 5! My practice piece (Yeah! that's what I will call it!)

Just because I am such a nice guy, I will throw in a pair of the HOT pink pants as well to match!
(I got the pink fabric for an insanely low price! One of the perks of shopping at 5:30 a.m., and having a grocery employee cut fabric! Heh!)

Just to refresh your memory!

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to describe. Is it similar to this?
petti2.jpg

If so, PM me and I'll tell you how I did it.

I love this outfit!!!!! I bought the pettiskirt pattern from YCMT and I tried it out with some tulle. I just have the fluff to put on the bottom yet. I don't know if I care for it. It used a TON of tulle but it's still "see through" so I'd have to have her wear leggings underneath it. I don't know if I didn't do it right or what. :confused3 My middle layer is 4 widths of fabric and my bottom layer is 10 widths of fabric. Then there are two skirt layers. I dunno. Maybe I need to try different fabric?? Please let me know if you have any tips or tricks. :) I'll post a pic when I get the fluff on

Sorry I can't be any help... I've never been able to find this at the one Hancocks we still have in the area. I was there last week and searched again - just in case ;)

Before their Chapter 11 restructuring there was a Hancocks not far from me and I almost never went there. But I did stop in when they were having their Store Closing Sale (entire store 30% off) and bought a little Minni Dot - thinking I could always get more at the other Hancocks. If I had only known then what I know now :rotfl: I would have bought every piece they had of it. Of course now that the store is gone everytime I drive by I wish they were still there!

Wow I love this fabric. What a cute skirt! I bet she just loves it!!

She does! I made it really big so the skirt flies out. I have to make some type of shirt to match it. She's a huge Buzz fan! She picked the fabric out herself. Strange green, but cute.

PEEPS!!!! It is sew cute!!!! I downloaded the free Peep coloring pages to do this too!

LOVE it!

.

See, your daughter knew what she was doing!!! That turned out really cute!!! I will have to show Lydia, she loves Buzz too! You should send some pictures of it to put up on YCMT, we could have all sorts of famous models on here!

1.)Poor Tessa! When do we get to see it?

2.) :snooty: I am a weather snob, I am sorry.

3.)The last time I was in I was looking at the pliers but I was scared because I am not mechanically inclined. They are easy to use?
1.)Poor, poor Tessa.
2.) I dream of someday being a weather snob.
3.) I don't remember who, but someone on here almost ruined an outfit with a pair of those once!

I'm really thinking that is a very good idea! You make it first, I'll CASE you!

I would love that! But, I doubt Lyddy would fit. What are the measurements though?

:welcome: !!! I'm so glad you found us!! Now, we need some pictures!!!

Thank you for the welcome! I have some older pictures of stuff on my Flickr page. Um, but it won't seem let me post links because my post count is too low I guess.

Could not find phrase 'error_postcount_too_low_post_links'.

You can find them at Flickr, username pearljamfanatic, and the set is called "Stuff I Make" (original, huh  ) if you want to.
I need to catch up with pictures of the more recent stuff..I'm lagging behind.

Just checking in quickly to say I LOVE it all! I have been trying to get more done and stay away from the computer lately! I miss you guys though!

I have managed to stay caught up with reading this thread, but unfortuantely I haven't taken the time to post and quote all the wonderful outfits and absolutely adorable babies.

Just off the top of my head

Heather - That Prince Charming set is so sweet on Sawyer!! Nice job!! :thumbsup2

Sugarbees - You are cranking out the outfits woman! Love them all but the brown retro set on Saylor and the latest turquiose set are my absolute faves!

UtahM and Sponige - The girls look marvelous in all their new duds! Great work!

Enchanted Princess - That Cinderella dress is so pretty and looks so comfy. Love it!

Princess Kell - WOO HOO on getting the pants figured out! Georgia looks great in the outfit!. The outfit reminded me - Have you seen the Elvis hawaiian print fabric at WalMart? I bet she'd die for an outfit from that!

Tinka-Belle - I'm working on a patchwork twirl jumper for DD with that easter egg fabric. I can't decide if I want that for the bodice or something more plain. Yours makes me want to go with the print - it looks great!

Teresa - The best thing about BMin for someone who only wants to wear the make-up ocassinally is that it doesn't expire! No worry about spending all that money and having to throw it away in 6 mos. That's a big reason why I decided to try it.
