Tuesday 3rd June.
Went to Busch Gardens - it took 75 minutes to get there from the villa along highway 27 onto I4 and north along I75.
Started with having our photo taken at the entrance and having a coffee at Zagora cafe.
Oh no there were pressed pennies here too - I could have guessed but it was our first time here!!
Started collecting them and bought a book for them to go in.
Didn't have a plan of action due to not being here before so we started with Gwazi as there were no queues - only Tiger was open at that time. Next along to Montu and to my surprise the eldest Daughter (9) wanted to go on - so we swapped around so that she went on twice as the other two couldn't go on - walked straight on. I hate the bit where you are going up and you are saying to yourself - "that's enough now, far enough". I hate height's but I love going on the rides!!
Walked aroung King Tut's Tomb and onto Edge of Africa to look at the animals.
Had dinner in Crown Colony at 11.50am - early I know.
Went through to Myombe Reserve and onto Nairobi to Rhino Rally but the water part wasn't working and I felt that it was very short.
Took the train to Congo Station where we were just in time to go into R.L. Stine's Haunted Lighthouse. We all enjoyed it as you get slightly wet at the most unexpected times and not when you expected to.
Kids then enjoyed the rides in that area and gave us a break from all the questions they kept asking about what we had just seen!!
Stopped for a drink and then rode Scorpion (not very impressive).
A ride on Kumba then followed which made up for the previous ride. yet again lauren was riding them twice - much to her delight!! We left at 17.45pm.

Wednesday 4th June.
2nd day at Busch gardens.
Had breakfast at Zagora cafe and then straight to Congo river Rapids - got absolutely soaked luckily I had anticipated this and bought towels and a change of underwear!!
Didn't get as wet as I thought on Tanganyika Tidal Wave although those standing on the bridge did - mad fools!!
Stanley falls was closed at that time so we decided to go for dinner and had the cheeseburger platter.
Whilst we were sat there we were inundated with loads of kids that were obviously on a trip as they all had red t-shirts on and packed lunches.
Husband and 2 eldest girls went on Gwazi again. I didn't want to go on as the first time it gave me a headache as I felt my brain was being shaken up in my head and because I had been in a car accident in January and suffered a whiplash injury and there is no head support on the ride.
Went back to see if Stanley falls had opened - which it had.
Back to python which had also been closed that morning and was now open.
We then decided to go back to Rhino Rally to see if the water part had been reopened from yesterday and found that it had - so we rode it and it was much better.
We then went to have a big ice-cream - YUMMY!!
Finally rode Montu again and left at 5.30pm.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Busch Gardens and loved the rides. The pace was alot better as there seemed to be less people and we did what we wanted, although we missed out some of the shows.
