Disastrous side trips on Vacation

I was in Vegas, and they had a day trip to Hollywood, way to much road in one day to start with, first you went to long beach, and the very hot and attractive women I was with couldn't sit next to each other on the van, we werer last ones they picked up, so she was so mad about that, we didnt even get are toes wet in the Pacific, then they drop you of in Hollywood Blvd for 3 hours, we must of walked the wrong way cause it was a full time job just to hold on to my wallet. Left Vegas at 6am got back at 9 p/m, if I had some strict- nine I would have swallowed it

That sounds awful! Hollywood is way too far from Vegas, especially with traffic, to be a fun day trip.

On our Cancun honeymoon we took a couple trips: one to Chichen Itza and one to Xelha. The destinations were fine, but getting there was awful. DH and I couldn't sit together. The bus was hot and the lady in front of me had her seat reclined, seriously invading my personal space. We made stops along the way at roadside vendors so they push their crappy souvenirs on us. I guess it's all part of the experience.
