Disappointed with Pictures

We were just on the July 19 Western Cruise. We had a fantastic vacation. The best ever! However, I had a huge disappointment when we got our pictures back after being develpoed the other day. We took our camera with us when we were having our formal pictures taken. When we got up to meet the characters, (Mickey and Minnie in their forma attire specifically), we asked the Disney employee who was accompanying the characters if she would take a picture using our camera also. She took the picture for us. Imagine my disappointment when I got the pictures back and over half of me was cut out of the picture!!! The picture was completely off-center. We got many of the pictures from Shutters, but since this was an 8x10, and we thought that we had a picture on our camera, we did not get that one. The picture that a Disney employee took of us with Goofy was almost as bad, but at least you can see the four of us. It really is not that difficult to center a picture. Has anyone else experience a problem like this?
This was a major disappointment in an otherwise AWESOME cruise!

Do you have any photo software on your computer? - I have been able to "save" a lot of pictures by scanning them into my computer and reworking things with photo software - Just an idea -

Sorry to hear that. That's why we use digital. We can look at the picture the castmember took and then decide if we want to use that one or buy the one from Shutters. Every camera is different so I really don't blame the CM if the picture isn't perfect. Some of the pictures I take aren't very good

That is one of the reasons that I used the onboard photo processing. That way I knew if my pictures turned out and what I needed to purchase at Shutters.

Sorry to hear about your pictures--if you don't have a scanner, try the Kodak photo maker machines to recenter and resize your pictures. Good luck--what a great excuse for another cruise--you need better pictures!

There is no resizing the picture with Mickey and Minnie, there's only about half of me in the photo! We can modify the one with Goofy though.

Next time we will use the digital...and yeah that's a great excuse to go again!
