We ate at Pepper Market (haven't gotten to it in my dining report yet) just this past weekend. I thought it was okay...didn't love it, didn't hate it.
I didn't think it was dirty. We had a very friendly waitress.
My brother had a rice and salmon combo that he thought was wonderful (it looked really yummy!) That was made fresh.
I had a baked penne that they dished out of a half pan. I wish I would have seen that before I ordered. I dislike it when food is just sitting around. I realize this is how food like this is usually prepared, but I didn't know how long it had been sitting, etc. But when I got it, I was pleasantly surprised. It tasted a lot fresher than it looked in the pan.
My brother and I agreed that it was nice to be able to use a quick service credit (we were on the QSDP) for a meal that was pseduo-served. We got real plates, real glasses, real flat ware, etc. Nice for a change of pace. Not sure I would make a special trip just for it though as I thought the choices were a little lack-luster. Since we were on the DP, the 10% service charge was included...so I did leave a small tip on the table. Mainly because our waitress was so on top of things and actually better than some waitresses I've had at a full sit down place!!
