On or off?Frankly, if they pissed the March Break crowd, it is a bad move, as we are people who are returnees.

My theory is that they are testing out the DME crowd control options, urging earlier arrivals, texting changes and now using outbound call centers. They are going to keep hours low, get the same amount of guests and attempt to move the crowds around MK that week to see if this crowd algorithm is going to work for summer and save them a lot of $$ (as was always planned)
We are doing March 15-21. Hope it will still be ok-ish.
We have done March Break before and it was ok. But we haven't done "that" close to Easter.
Looking back at my worksheets from 2 years ago, March Break they have AK hours of 8-8. This year is 9-7. And a lot of closure, and no new openings of things.
Really disappointed, and sort of regret booking this year.

Unfortunately, I've been getting the distinct impression they don't care about the return customers at all. They are more interested in the "once in a lifetime" visitors who won't know the difference.
As I posted a couple days ago, Disney called me to alert me of expected capacity crowds. I was warned that due to expected crowd levels, we may not be able to enter the MK from 3/28-3/31 depending upon the time of day we arrive to use our FP+. Disney is expecting to be turning people away from the MK the week after Easter. I have to believe they also called many others with FP+ booked at MK on those days.
I have FP's for every evening that week at MK and I haven't gotten a call, text, or email about this.
Maybe Disney hates me.
I didn't think of that. I am on site. You are very smart MaryKatesMom!Maybe you are onsite and the previous poster is off-site and would get caught in the first wave of closures?
We all scratched our heads at the $2B investment. I believe this is the sort of thing they planned on all along for their payback. Too bad it's such a loser for guests!
?? How much closer to the date are you talking?? I leave in 4 days and really expected some 8am openings.... nothing yet!! And Easter is in 2 weeks! They never wait till the week before! So... I'm pretty disappointed no extended hours or that they haven't added 2nd showings of MSEP or Fantasmic!!!!I am guessing that they will add more hours as it gets closer to the date.

All I know is there are no fastpasses left for test track, toy story, or seven dwYes, but Passover often coincides with Easter and this year it doesn't. Last year it looks like New York schools and Chicago schools had the week after Easter off. I'm not suggesting that Easter week won't be very crowded. But, it is possible that it won't be as crowded as last year and therefore reasonable to not have 7am EMH every day.
I have fastpasses for all those days but I don't answer long distance numbers because it is always telemarketers so who knows if they called? I already know to be there early but I really wish they had those 7 am emhs at Magic Kingdom! My husband asked me what I was getting him into! We have been the week leading up to Christmas and we also did New Year's at Hollywood Studios but we have never done Spring break and Easter. We are just going to go early and stay late and do whatever in between and not stress about it. No doubt, the crowds will be enormous. If I can just keep the kids from catching a virus while we are there, everything will be ok!I have FP's for every evening that week at MK and I haven't gotten a call, text, or email about this.

We are not morning person at all, but it was just so not busy and we got so much done that we wouldn't be able to pass it up again.
This is likely the very reason Disney didn't do the EMH. They don't make any money when there is no one in the park.
Stacy
Except for the overpriced rooms they rent out to people because it's supposed to come with the benefit of getting EMH access when the parks aren't as busy.
They added additional EMH days in prior Spring Break seasons.Easter week EMH:
Monday - AK
Tuesday - Epcot
Wednesday - MK
Thursday - Epcot
Friday - HS & MK
Doesn't seem like that perk has been removed?
