DH went to the doctor yesterday because his foot's been hurting him again and found out he has gout. they gave him a steroid and an anti-inflammatory. he said they both made him feel funny.....kinda jumpy. they both have the word "meth" in the name so that kinda freaks me out a little. anyway, we're gonna have to monitor his diet to see if something in particular is making his gout flair up.
My dad has gout. There are a lot of foods that trigger it. I can think of a few off-hand... dark green leafy things like spinach, salmon, organ meats (liver, etc). Also, too much alcohol.
I am just interested in more of whats on the menu. I have kids who won't touch seafood, a husband who's iffy about it. I LOVE SEAFOOD and would love to eat here. I just want to make sure the rest of my family will all have something they like.
I have just finished catching up but wanted to comment... I have been to the clam bake and I think that you would like it. They have all-you-can-eat steamed mussels and clams, but they also have a big non-seafood portion that is ribs, chicken, mac&cheese, mashed potatoes, etc.
You are misinformed about an IP address.
"In addition to the network address or number, information is needed about which specific machine or host in a network is sending or receiving a message. So the IP address needs both the unique network number and a host number (which is unique within the network). (The host number is sometimes called a local or machine address.)"
Although this has already been explained, I would also like to point out that IP address is generally dynamic and is assigned by your provider (aka your ISP). So it *is* possible that two people who share a provider and general location could get the same IP address, but I must say, it is very unlikely.
If you use someone like AOL or Verizon or a big provider, it is quite difficult for someone who is not in law enforcement to trace you beyond just the fact that you have Verizon or AOL and maybe your general location (state, city at the best). It requires a warrant to ask your provider who had that IP address at the time that it is tracked, so I wouldn't worry that they could find out your address, etc.
Okay, I am mostly caught up with this thread, as my parents were here this weekend and I didn't check any computer until this morning.
Oh one more thing... Lynda, I am totally with you on maintaining my weight since my Sept WDW trip and not losing any more. Here's to hoping we can break that trend!!

i've avoided it all winter and now my throat is scratchy and i'm EXHAUSTED. i always crave lots of garlic when i feel a cold coming on and so ray and i went to johnny's pizza for dinner and we shared a big bowl of garlic knots. so my number on friday will probably not be good. but at this point i don't care......garlic always makes me feel better when i'm icky. i have some kickin breath though!
i *almost* asked her if she'd like to supersize her meal.
Anyway, just checkin' in. I've got a couple other things to do before bed. Hope everyone had a great start to the week.
to all who need them!
now granted I wasn't the greatest peep and we did go to Cabella's yesterday and I didn't eat like a peep should there but OMG. I gained 4 lb. Some of it is water because I didn't drink my water like I'm supposed to last week and some of it is because of AF but holy cow. That puts me for the Easter challenge to lose 9 lb in 5 weeks. I'm going to try, no more bolonga for me anymore. I'm sick of being overweight darn it.
Not that I'm complaining!
Please send me some smart

Instead we will continue to add funds to our vacation savings club & we will go to Disney next year, possibly in June. On the bright side, we will be flying & my husband has agreed to us staying at least 2 weeks. At least 14 days of pure Disney magic.
It will be a combo anniversary trip, youngest son's birthday trip, & my anticipated nursing graduation trip.
Opinions will be greatly appreciated.
