Aaron- I'm "IN" only in spirit only. Too superstitious :3dglasses

Hope the Easter (but really Good Friday ;) ) Challenge is a huge success. Jesus rose from the tomb after 3 days. Three sounds like a good number for me to fixate on...so, UNOFFICIALLY, I'm wanting to lose 3 pounds...hopefully 4 or 5.

Put me down for 20! popcorn:: Heh!

I lost 2 lbs this week. That brings me to a total of 10 lbs lost.:goodvibes Rachel and I have the flu so Valentines Day didn't affect me like it normally would.

Have a good trip.

I saw it on Broadway years ago, (I think it was 2001,) and it was fantastic. I also saw Beauty and the Beast on Broadway in 2003. Now I really want to see the Little Mermaid. I absolutly love Broadway shows, though I've only seen five total, (the ones I mentioned, plus Les Mis, (which I've loved since I was 12,) Cats, and Phantom of the Opera. There's a lot more I'd like to see, but I just have to settle for having the soundtracks, but now they're making a movie of every Broadway show it seems too.

I would love to have those books. Is there not one for the Studios? I never understood why they have a book for the other three parks, and not the Studios. :confused3

I'd like to be 190 by then, (that's four pounds for me to lose.)
I would love to actually see a show on Broadway, just to be able to say that I did. Even if it was the worst show ever, at least I'd be able to say that I've seen a show on Broadway.

Truth be told, we didn't care for The Studios at all. In fact, last year we skipped this park completely because we had no desire to visit it. So if there is a book for it, she knew enough not to get it because I wouldn't enjoy it as much as the others.

I've got you marked down for 4 pounds!

I'm down -1.5. Finally, I have moved off the SAMER mode where I've been since 2008 started.

Aaron, definitely interested in the Easter challenge. I have to redeem myself for not coming close on the Valentine's challenge. Put me down for 6. That will put me at my goal weight. I may still be working towards it on this year's Thanksgiving challenge but as long as I'm working towards it, that's better than giving up.

And Aaron, I can't wait to hear how you liked the Lion King. We are going to see it on London's Broadway this fall. I'm really excited about it too.

I hope everyone has a safe and healthy weekend.

I'm not big on the Studios either, and on my long trips I only spend about a day and a half there total, (and this is when I have ten full days.) The only reasons I make a point of going there every trip is Beauty and the Beast, the Little Mermaid, Tower of Terror, and Fantasmic. I also really like eating at the Brown Derby. Everything else at the Studios I could take or leave.

Is there any interest in doing another challenge? If so, let me know what goal you'd like to reach by Easter (technically Good Friday) so I can start the spreadsheet. Remember that you'll only have 5 weeks to do it, so choose wisely!

As for me, I'm hoping to lose 5 tiny little pounds to get UNDER 170 for the first time since before I hit puberty. That'll be my goal whether y'all want me to keep a spreadsheet or not.

Sign me up! Please put me down for 7lbs.

I'm down for the next challenge..if its an Easter Challenge.. my goal is to weigh 135 pounds. so put me down for 6 pound

Congrats on the loss Faith!! I know how much you have been wanting one.

Aaron, put me down for 5 lbs. I am hoping for more but I went down quickly the last 2 weeks so I am expecting a stall.

I am on a conf call from 9:30AM - end of time (scheduled for 5PM) so I am in and out...

Broadway shows are amazing..just because its, well..BROADWAY :)..i saw WICKED at the Shubert a few years back..AMAZING! I also saw it again when it toured locally in Providence, RI...i saw the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast as well as Rent in Providence as well..its an amazing theater for shows!

i would love to try the brown derby! it looks so good! i really do enjoy WDW signature restaurants..

My arm is twisted...Aaron, could you please put me down for 3.8 lbs in the Easter Challenge??? (that .8 covers what i did not lose on this one ;)

Brown Derby is fabulous. I have eaten there every trip since I started going as an adult. I've always eaten there with the Fantasmic package also. Except this trip I'm going to try lunch there instead, (different menu items,) and then try and see Fantasmic without the package, (first time I'm doing that,) and then have a late after-show dinner at either Flying Fish or Yachtsman Steakhouse. I love having the deluxe DDP for my next trip, I'll be able to eat at all the signature restaurants. :goodvibes I'm just waiting for the park hours to be released for September so I can plan out my whole intinerary. I'm one of those people who makes all their ADRs 180 days out.

I am the BIGGEST YO-YO- dieter out there.

This week up 3 pounds.
It wasn't Valentines day either. The scale was just creeping up all week, it was actually up 5 pounds on Wednesday. I think it was just my body recovering from being sick and showing my true weight.

Anyways. I want in on the next challenge. Please Aaron, put me down for 6 pounds.

I just want to say I hate TAX time. Especially with a little baby who does not sleep!

I am down 5 pds i have been sick again this week i want it to be spring .. i had a fever last night and today but wendy lou came and grabbed me and we went fabric shopping . i am feeling a lil better . i still have the sniffles but i am okay (i think it is my house i am overwhelmed with housework, granted it is not dirty:scared1: but in my eyes it could be alot better) :rolleyes1 Prayers to all who need them and congrats to the looser's :thumbsup2

I'm soooooooooooo happy for you!!! :cool1:

I am new - introduced myself last week. I started Tuesday night - and this morning I was down -5 pounds! When I weighed in Tuesday, I was down -4 from the week before - so I'm pretty excited. I've not been one to 'diet' so this is pretty new for me.

I would love to be part of the Easter challenge!! According to the weight loss goals I have set for myself in reaching my goal, I should be down 14 pounds by March 23. Please put me down for 14!

Congrats to everyone who made their Valentine's Goals!!

My boys are safe.... and probably are coming home this weeekend for a visit...

glad your boys are safe. it's just so sad. :sad2:

Dawn loved the pic. You are so pretty even with chopsticks up on the nose.

:rotfl:

On saturday I'm planning on going to an event to raise money for the new animal shelter they are building in my area. I'm so excitied. I'm a big animal lover, and I LOVE to get dressed up!princess:

:thumbsup2 good for you! i love doing stuff for the animals!

I should have packed by now, but I haven't even started. We leave for DL Saturday morning.

:woohoo: have fun!

I remember when the Columbine shootings happened, it was the biggest story of the year. People talked about it for weeks.

the day that columbine happened was the day that DH and i decided we didn't want kids. i was 23 and he was 28 at the time. almost 9 years later and we still don't have any. it's not that i think my child will turn out that way - i just think that i'd be so freaked out every time my child left the house that i don't know if i could handle it. i know this sounds pessimistic, but i don't know about bringing a child into this world. now that i'm getting older i think i would enjoy being a mother and the idea of having someone who's made out of me and ray sounds really cool. but we're still both on the fence because of all the crazies out there.

But on a positive note, I'm going to see The Lion King musical tomorrow!

cool! we got tickets for it in early april and i can't wait!!!

i'm not in for the challenge unless you just want to put me down as maintaining. i'll be here to cheer you guys on though! :cheer2: however, i had to quote you because the fact that you mentioned that easter is only 5 weeks away just gets me more excited since my WDW trip is a mere month after easter! :yay:

I just want to say I hate TAX time. Especially with a little baby who does not sleep!

i hate tax time because i'm self-employed and that means i have to pay!!!! i make quarterly payments but i'm afraid that i didn't pay enough last year. which means i'll owe this year. NOT GOOD because i don't have ANY money set back to do so. and i'm NOT dipping into my disney fund!!!!!! any time taxes are brought up lately i just get a queazy feeling in my stomach.

CONGRATS to all the losers and samers! and to the gainers, stick with it!!!!! you are here and trying and that matters more than anything!!!! :goodvibes

Down 0.2

172.6 now 172.4. I'm not moving at breakneck speed but at least I am moving. Ive only got 4 more weeks on my scale back alabama and need to lose 6 to meet that goal. So I gotta get busy.

Go a head and put me down for 6 for the Easter challenge.

I'm with you aaron on the school violence. It is sad that our children arent safe in school but it is even more sad that as a nation we have become so desensitized to it.

All right, here's the almost final results of our Valentines Day challenge. Congrats to dismom9761, MJMouse, mousehouselover, and Punkin for reaching or exceeding their goals! And an extra "way-to-go" to Mony for losing 16 pounds!!!!

Wendy - you were serious about that 20 pounds, right?

Thanks again Aaron for all of the stats and keeping these nice spreadsheets for everyone. It's so impressive to see over 85 lbs lost for the group. Although mine was small, if we put all of ours together it shows how hard we are working and that inspires me.

Congrats to those who met their goals. Monica, a special congrats out to you for how much you lost during this challenge. That's AMAZING.

Tina, way to go on your first week. Keep it up!!!! Pretty soon Melinda is going to have you eating birdseed, oh I mean flax seed too. :rotfl:

Danielle Sorry we won't be able to do a DL meet after all. A death in the family has kept us home this weekend. And I was all set to eat at Club 33 too! It's just not in the cards for me. We'll be going down in the next few weeks but will have to skip Club 33 as that has to be planned so far in advance. Oh well, I'm sure it would not have been a peepish meal anyway. I hope you have a great time. Weather could not be better.

Aaron... Thanks for keeping track of our losses. These challenges really help keep me focused on losing a little bit each week to meet a reasonable near term goal.

And this is what I've got for the Easter challenge...

f_PeepEasterm_16653c7.png

Please put me down for a loss of 5 lbs. by Easter. I hope to lose more, but a lb a week seems doable.

Thanks!

NOOOO! I was totally kidding! put me down for 4. That way I'll only curse myself to gain 7. ;)

I'd have to get my jaws surgically closed ~OR~ give up a limb and/or major organ(s)....and shave my head.
