Yes, my peeps...the drama is over. UM can sleep well tonight along with all of us. It was seriously stressing me out that the tailor would not be able to get it done and make it look nice. Thankfully they were telling us the truth.

Glad it all worked out. The dress is beautiful. All the best to your sister and her soon-to-be husband.

Saturday we are heading to So. CA to see POTC 3 in Hollywood at the Disney-owned theater, El Capitan. It has been hard to hold out this long, but I am looking forward to it. We won't have a chance to slip off to DL this trip, because we're heading down to San Diego to look at possible colleges for DD. I would love if she chose to go to school there. DH and I think we'll probably retire there many years in the future.

I'm watching a WDW show on the travel channel now. It makes me want to go back. I'll have to watch for lime green on the show.

I have been up mopping floors--those sippy cups no matter the brand always leak Katies lights went out last night and we went out to the breaker and turned them back on and it promptly went off again. We tried for about 20 minutes to figure it out--guess we will be seeing someone today. DSIL comes over tomorrow so I am trying to get the house in order--mainly it is jus the floors- it seems I can never keep them clean. Have a list a mile long to get accomplished today for when we leave Sunday for camp.
TODAY is the last day of SUMMER SCHOOL HAve o go mop kitchen floor now before Joshua wakes up officially.

Thanks to everyone who commented on the situation with my forgetful DD. I think I knew it was the right thing....just hard to watch them sizzle...ya know.

DD17 was due back from Europe last night and their flight was delayed out of Rome so they missed their connecting flight in Frankfurt and had to spend the night there. Don't know WHAT time they will be back today. Can't wait to see/hug/squeeze her. She's never been away from home this long before.

samer- ok I really need to get off my **** and get this going again. I have been very lazy with a big L!!! The weather is perfect today and I really need to get the focus back on healthy eatting. I think I had a brat attack becasue I do not like to have Drs tell me what not to do and how I need to live my life now.

Rather than take a differnt view of things I have gone right to well I'll show you. Wonder why my son is sooo defiant???? Must be his dad of course!!!

I do not also like to hear well your not 21 anymore, what does that mean exactly?? There is a blessing in this I am certain just hard to see right now. I am furious that everything is becoming a challenge.

I am sorry I am stomping my feet and stubbing my toes in the corner. I know it just takes a diiferent view of things and some positive action on my part sadly I am doing either.

GOYA I really need to get off my **** and stop this mode of destructive thinking.

I jsut want to be able to do what I want to do hmmmm I think tho sounds like a 4 yo better move a muscle and change a thought today.

yep...i'm a shorty. i'm used to it, though. i was so excited at WDW because donald and daisy duck were actually shorter than me! i'm 5'3", but my sister is 5'9" and my brother is 6'5". i definitely got the short end of the stick....get it????

We are going to Orange Beach, Alabama. My mom and dad inherited a beach house form his mom in Perdido, FLorida-we went there all the time as kids and even until hurricane Ivan. My dad sold off his share to his sister so we had to start finding places of our own. We found a small family style condo in our price range and it is smacked in between 2 larger ones--no public beach access -- a plus to us-- and lots of families.

WOOHOOTY ON DISNEY!! Nancy Drew was all vintage... weirdly everyone around her wasnt!! It just aint right that people had cell phones... and she went to Hollywood High... (Nancy.. in vintage clothes, and her roadster... just wrong!!) (Hi Belle!!)

I am about 30 miles south of Sherman. We always get some of what they do, but they always get iti worse. We had just a sprinkle today but ti was prertty grey all day long.
Aunt Josephine lost all her garden to the floods - first time ever, and she's close to 90 years old!!

Trust me, we tried it all yesterday before going to a tailor....at least SPANX brand are fairly comfortable and they smooth things out, but they didnt give her enough room. She is still probably going to wear them for the smoothing effect though.

Jen, I had the weirdest dream last night!! NOW I KNOW WHY!! its all your fault!! I just remembered reading your post... I was to remarry my dh... our schedules were extreme hectic, but I had a dress... I get to the church, the room I was to use was "taken" but he'd give me another... oops, I forgot my ballet shoes, all I have are crocs!! I'll go barefoot. I forgot my camera (it was a weird dream I'm telling you!!) Then after the ceremony (which I dont remember) dh and I went back to the dressing room, got undressed (but we werent nakkid, or havin 'fun') and fell asleep - zonked out from stressin... then the door is knocking someone wants in, we dont answer, we have to get dressed - somehow a man with keys is in our room... it was the weirdest dream, that made no sense - why is a man with a thousand keys on a key chain INSIDE the room trying to unlock it?????????

On my wedding day - my zipper broke. My mom yelled at me - because I kept trying it on and walking around in it - its only meant to be worn ONCE dont you know!! (Grandma got there, and she had stuff and repaired it!! So you know it does make a good story, memory...) Jen you are a hero, never gave up, you kept on believin!!

Recording a very miniscule 0.4 pound loss this week. I really thought it was going to be better, since these are the same 0.4 pounds I was down on Wednesday. But I got lazy this week and didn't walk at all, so I'm sure that had something to do with it. So that brings me to a grand total of 30.8 pounds lost this year, and 27.2 pounds to go until I reach my goal. Good luck everyone!

Dance - The dress looks great! When we got married, my wife had a lot of blue trim on her wedding dress, and her mom had a conniption because it wasn't completely white. So I guess I am a little biased here, but I love that people are starting to buck tradition a little bit and adding a little color to wedding gowns. Very cool!

FYI 30 mini oreos feel more like 100 laying in my gutt this am! Not a good plan like I said before brat attack of defiance must come to an end!

Apparently there is one 6 flags (not sure where) and they are really bad...like wonder woman looks strung out on something and is super skinny, and the other ones are skinny too-like baggy tights skinny At least your superheros all look somewhat normal!

My wedding was a series of mishaps. My mom burned a big hole in my veil the morning of the wedding, the limo bus was very late, it was raining so my outdoor pics were seriously compromised, the limo bus started leaking as we were trying to get to take pics anywhere, my cake was entirely wrong (as in wrong colors and everything), the DJ played the wrong song for me and my dad....but now I could care less about those things. Well, most of them anyways I kept trying to tell her she will look back and not care about this down the road, that it was a small price to pay for having her dress right...she didnt see the bright side of any of it. BUT, I knwo it is stressful too.

OMG, I love your Oreo math! I can pretty much justify anything I feel like eating if I think about it long enough.

She is not a very traditional girl, and this dress really suits her. We are all pretty italian skinned, so the red looks great on her.
