-.5 pd!!! I wasn't as lucky as Pixie to lose more then that with AF here. I'll take it as usual!! :thumbsup2

um......i don't know how ray feels about paris because i haven't mentioned it to him yet! i'm sure he'd be up for disneyland tokyo though. he's been wanting to go there for awhile now. and i have NO interest in going there. we both agree that we'd LOVE to go to italy, so i was thinking disneyland paris as a side trip to italy. there's an attorney our firm does a lot of work for and one of our court reporters used to work for him as a secretary. he's writing a book now and she's editing it for him, so they're more friends than they are colleagues. anyway, she told me recently that he and his wife are thinking of buying a house in tuscany because they go to italy like 6 times a year and it would make sense to have a house there. MUST BE NICE!!!!!!! anyway, debbie (my co-worker) says that he'll let any of us stay there if we ever go to italy as long as they're not using it FREE OF CHARGE!!!!!! i'm SO THERE!!!

Wow!! What a great offer...you can't beat that! I hope it works out for you. :wizard:

GOOD MORNING & TGIF! :sunny:

Last day of VBS! It has been a fun but busy week. Mom and DN were going to leave today but DD13 called from camp and begged Mom to stay until she got back late tonight so I guess they'll leave in the morning.

Thanks for asking about DD17.
I talked to her Wed. morning. Surprisingly, when she answers her cell phone, it sounds like she could be down the street as the reception is very clear. She had been swimming at the Riviera on Tuesday and was in transit to Orange, France. (in provence?) Anyway, she is having a good time, euros and picture cards are holding out, and all in well.

FIDGE...YES! That formula does work! Just look at the before/after pix of those ladies on Calorie Queens! I used the formula to lose those 10 pounds I got rid of and it really worked. My coworker was trying to lose a lot more than me so she chose an intermediate goal (25 pounds) and started there with her calorie counting. As she lost, she chose a lower goal with lower calories. Combine it with a short walk everyday and it works even better! Glad you are feeling better but get rid of the yodels!

SHAWNA! We've missed you!

HARLEY....Ditto

EVERYBODY.... :wave2:

HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY!

Good Morning Peeps!

samer - again But at least its not a gainer:thumbsup2

Staying busy this summer- lots of pool time and cooking on the grill.

We leave for Disney in 21 days:yay: :woohoo:

I know I'll have to retire my ribbon when we get back. My dad asked if we were going to do anything other than EAT.:rotfl2:

Oh- I'm back on track at the gym. I have a work carpool friend and we go to the same gym so we have been stopping by on the way home. Not quite back to where I was- my foot is still troublesome sometimes- but I'm averaging 12 min on the eliptical and then a round of arm reps- I really need to add the abs- you know the nonexistant abs- maybe I'll add that in next week.

Have a good day everybody!

-3!!! for the week. Apparently I kept the two from my "mid-week peek" and found another -- not sure how, but I'll take it! I get my hair cut tomorrow, so maybe I'll lose a few more ounces (it's thick and long and grows FAST)??

Happy weigh-in day to all! Congrats to the "losers" and "samers." to the "gainers" -- today is a new day!

Wow! I've been gone for a while! I missed the 1000 page post by 41 pages! :lmao:

Anyways, looks like DH and I will be seperating. I'll be moving soon, so I can be closer to school. The good news is that it is easier for me to lose weight when we aren't together.

I just don't know what to think of all this. I still love him, but us together is not a good thing. I don't want to have kids in an enviroment like this. And to add to that, he has a family history of mental illness. Thank goodness we don't have any children.

Anyways, I'm sorry to be going on about my personal problems.

I haven't been on the scale in a while. I might weigh today since TOM is almost over.

Congrats to all you who are doing well. You're such an inspiration!!!

Crazy week. I'm way behind and I've been very un-peepish. Up 3 lbs. this morning. I haven't been to the gym at all, I've been out to eat almost everyday, sometimes 2x in a day. The weekend looks like more of the same, so here's my plan. DRINK WATER! It was over 90 degrees yesterday, and my fingers feel like sausages. So let's hope some of the 3 lbs. is water. GET TO THE GYM. A busy week is not the same kind of active as working out. I need my elliptical. WRITE FOOD DOWN. I have the feeling bomb pops, cheetos, and keebler cookies would not be jumping down my throat if I had to be accountable.
Today's the last day of school, so think happy thoughts of me with my lil cuties on our picnic. Oh, and the last piece of my plan: GET SOME SLEEP!
 to all. Catch you later

fly by.....i'm running late for a deposition this morning. i'm - 1 pound this week. i'm happy with that.....just don't understand how i could be down 3 pounds earlier this week and now only 1???? oh, well! i know....i'm my own worst critic. have a great day everyone! i'll be back to check in later.

Dance- it's even prettier!!!!

Ok Peeps, Me and Misty are gonna meet with Winkers (Cherie) some time this week. BUT!!!!! I forgot to give her our phone numbers :scared1:

I just PM'd her hoping she's as addicted to the dis as I am and will check in as soon as she is able. Everyone send her ESP messages to call UtahMama or Spongie! Hopefully, through the power of the Peeps, she'll get the idea in her head to check her PM's

I totally can not wait to meet her!!!!

!

Me addicted?????? I have your numbers now so there's no getting rid of me! It's only 7:30 so I'll wait awhile before I give you a call. I survived the drive with only having to follow thru on the threat "if you do that one more time I'm pulling over!!" That was after the 100th warning! I got to hold my niece and can't wait till she gets here today. :cloud9: And I got the added suprise of getting to talk to punkin yesterday! Dawn, you have the cutest voice! Just goes along with your personality. I'm excited to meet Wendy & Misty so I'll have pictures to prove they aren't my imaginary friends.:)

I lost 2.2 pounds this week, for a grand total of 30.4 pounds lost since the start of the year (new bling, here I come!!!), and an uber-grand total of 54.4 pounds lost since April 2005 in about 10.5 non-consecutive months. I am now 27.6 pounds away from my goal weight.

So, now that I am starting to slowly inch towards my goal weight (at this pace I should be there by the end of the year, but I won't complain if it doesn't happen until this time next year), I need to start ramping up my exercising. I'm a good routine where I'll walk for a good 45 minutes every night, but I know that I am going to have to start adding toning exercises to my routine as well. I've got a Bowflex that works really well for the arms and chest and back, and my legs aren't really a problem. But what I'm looking for is suggestions for stomach exercises. Has anyone found any success with something other than basic sit-ups and crunches? Or am I still best served using those old standbys?

Congratulations to the losers, and keep up the hard work gainers and samers! We'll all get there together! Good luck to all this week!

EDIT- Oooh, the 30 pound ribbon is so pretty, er, I mean, manly. Yeah, that's it. It is so manly!

If I remember my number from last week correctly, I am down .6 lbs this week. I think I was at 226.2, and I am now at 225.6 - so close to getting back my 25-lb ribbon I can taste it! So far, total loss is 24.4 lbs! I really wanna hit 40-45 by the September trip. I would LOVE to be down one more size by then! And I think our Cedar Point trip will be in late August, and I REALLY want to be able to ride Millenium Force! (assuming I still have the nerve to try! :rotfl: )

I like my balance ball a LOT! I don't like crunches very much, but I find the balance ball to be a lot more fun. (If only because DH and I are amused by me trying some new move without falling off the thing! ) And I feel like it is effective at toning AND stretching. I feel almost taller after I have been using it for a while if that makes sense. Now I just need to get back on it!

WI DisneyfanThreadHunk- That is a mighty manly new ribbon, er, BANNER, you got there!!!!! Sheeesh! I needs to put on sunglasses to view it!

Winkers!!!!!!! I'm way too excited! I cant wait!

Ok, I gained 2 pounds but!!!!
Yesterday I weighed and it was down 3. See? Just need a pooh: muffin (haven't done those in a long time!) This is the HARDEST 20 pounds of my life!

Oh, I did record DisneyObesession's early weight loss post. SOOOO far, were at 12.8 gone.

I had left over veggies (steamed to perfection!) so I just made myself a 2 egg frittata with just a wee little bit of cheese. I love good choices!!!

edited to say....I just talked to Winkers!! I think we're meeting on Tuesday and going to Quilted Bear in Ogden, It's a craft mall with a reeeeeally good place to eat.

My number, -2.6!! I got new bling! I am now down a grand total of 26.4 since Feb 6, and 10 since I started WISH (including the 3 "found" WDW lbs that I have relost). Only 21 lbs to my mini-goal in September, 41-46 to my final goal.

No!!! I am not pining for him but I went on this trip 2 months after my mom got sick so I will always hold the memories close. I was in a bad place and he helped me get through some of it. We lost touch about 2 years ago. That's ok though..he was a c***y little b*****d!!!

I am still trying to figure out the first bleeped word. :confused3

Oh no, I am so sorry, Amber. If you need any support or just someone to talk to, feel free to PM me and we can exchange emails or IM ids. I am online a lot at night and people tell me I am a good shoulder to cry on! :goodvibes

Great job!!! I like the balance ball too. I think that it helps you with form on your crunches, or at least, they seem a lot harder. I would also recommend reverse crunches, where you lay on your back and lift your legs/hips off the floor. Be sure that your ab muscles are working (burning/hurting) or crunches aren't worth it.

punkin, I would expect your weight to move slowly since you are so close to goal. I know the closer I get, the harder it is to squeak off every lb., so 1 lbs is great! Not just that, all that weight-lifting is moving that weight around to where it belongs.

UM, that frittata sounds good... can you send some over here to NC?

-1lb and I am happy with that. The scale is moving in the right direction!

I am going shopping with my mom today. I need to get my dad a father's day present. I also need to get some groceries. (Healthy choices!)

Dawn-I think Italy would be wonderful. I saw the movie Under the Tuscan Sun and I loved it! I hope you get to go someday!:)

Tara-Another WDW trip!!!!:cheer2: And with you best friend too, how cool!:goodvibes

Amber- I am sorry you are going through a tough time.

To everyone I missed have a wonderful day!:flower3:

Amber---:grouphug: I am so sorry that you are going through a rough patch. You know what is right for you and if you know that the environment is not right for your future children than you are doing the right thing. I am thinking of you and hope for nothing but the best for you. :wizard:  This is a new beginning for you.

Well Peeps...I lost 1.5 lbs this week! I am trying to lose 20 more before August 22nd. My mom's family is having a family reunion and most of them have not seen me in years. I have gained a lot of weight in the past 4 years. You know how it is---getting married and having a baby. Oh and sitting at a computer, dising:rolleyes1 The weight just crept on. :confused3 So I am going to hit is hard the next few months and I hope to continue losing. Losing weight is seriously one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I wish I could make it easier.

Stayed the same but I must have lost some today as I did 18 holes again and I've now got my handicap :cool1: not sure what it is yet but it should be about 18 as my cards were 19, 18 and todays 16 :goodvibes

To those talking about DLP I live about 2 hours away and I've never been and really don't want to. If I were you I would enjoy what Europe has to offer and give DLP a miss, JMO! BTW Paris is beautiful far more walking than WDW :rotfl2:

Amber I'm so sorry about your marriage, keep strong and do what's best for you

Just a quick fly by post....down .5 today. Not great, but since I had a not so perfect week I will take it and run!

Off to try to finish cleaning before my kiddos come for the afternoon. Why I bother I have no idea :rotfl:
