Hello! Mellow Yellows!:)

Wow, I'm 30 weeks PG today.:scared1:

I feel bloated like a cow.

I feel like the bottom is going to drop out any moment.

The skin on the top of my feet hurt!

And this heart burn is just insane!

Oh the joys of pregnancy! :hippie: I know you all are sooooooooooo jealous!:thumbsup2

Great job on the poundage! You all rock!:yay:

what is the DINK list?

I don't know what a DINK list is and the relation to a tick.:confused3

A pooh muffin is a higly potent fiberous muffin you eat on Thursday to cleanse before you weigh in on Friday.

Utah Mamma I think started this recipe. Correct me please if I am wrong.

DINK = Double Income No Kids. A DINK list is a list of reasons to remain DINK. All of the uncomfortable-ness and such of pregnancy = one tick mark (checkmark) next to that entry on the list. :)

UM, can you post the pooh muffin recipe?

-1.8
Yea! Go me! I am finnally starting to lose some wieght! :goodvibes

I like my balance ball a LOT! I don't like crunches very much, but I find the balance ball to be a lot more fun. (If only because DH and I are amused by me trying some new move without falling off the thing! ) And I feel like it is effective at toning AND stretching. I feel almost taller after I have been using it for a while if that makes sense. Now I just need to get back on it!

Great job!!! I like the balance ball too. I think that it helps you with form on your crunches, or at least, they seem a lot harder. I would also recommend reverse crunches, where you lay on your back and lift your legs/hips off the floor. Be sure that your ab muscles are working (burning/hurting) or crunches aren't worth it.
Thanks for the responses! Balance balls, eh? I've heard of them, but haven't really looked into them much. I'm assuming they come with an instruction manual or video? This is tempting, because a big rubber ball doesn't sound like it would be too expensive, either. And that is always a bonus.

I don't think they are too expensive, no... I just use it at the gym so I have never invested in one.

Crunches on them are "easy", well, easy to describe and get set up for, not that easy to actually DO many of them, hence the reason it works! You sit on the ball and then walk your feet out until the ball is resting in the curve of your lower back, and do crunches from there.

There are many exercises other than crunches you can do on the ball, including free weights. It helps with posture and core muscles as you have to use abs, back, legs at the same time that you are working out your upper body. If the ball doesn't come with an instruction manual/video, you can google search for exercises and I am sure there are sites with pictures and even video.

This is a fly by weigh in ..... the thunderstorms around here the past few days have kept me off the computer, but I have been exercising more, go figure , LOL

-1.5 that's all for me !!!

I didn't even expect that because Aunt Flo was visiting and I hadn't been drinking as much water as I should have been. AND Brandon's gone so we had ice cream for dinner..... yes I KNOW, I KNOW, that was very bad, but hey I earned "Mommy points" after I had to explain to her that it was perfectly fine to do this every ONCE in a while, and since I had let her havea cupcake for breakfast the day before, I REALLY need to get her on track, LOL

Okay, not so much a fly by after all !!! I better scoot, before I'm scorched by lightening :scared1:

Have a good one Peeps and I hope to be able to check in some this weekend !!

UM, can you post the pooh muffin recipe?

I can add 100 things to add to your DINK list.

Write This Down:

Magic pooh: Muffins..... Or One Point Muffins from WW:

(makes 24)
3C. All Bran Cereal...nuggets or "sticks"
2 1/2 C. water
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoons vanilla
1 pkg. Krusteez Fat Free Brownie Mix (other FAT FREE Brownie mixes may work too)

soak cereal in the water for at least 10 mins.
add baking powder, vanilla, and brownie mix
mix very well

spray muffin tin with Pam, then fill each tin about 1/2 full. DONT over fill or you'll have a MESS. (or can use muffin papers)

Bake in preheated 350* oven 20-25

Drink plenty of water. These have been known to constipate you without tons of water. Stay home, you're gonna need to be near a potty ;)

They are VERY moist and have a lumpy texture. Think of the lumps as a fiberous good-thing! They only last a couple days in a ziploc bag.

Anyways, looks like DH and I will be seperating. I'll be moving soon, so I can be closer to school. The good news is that it is easier for me to lose weight when we aren't together.

I just don't know what to think of all this. I still love him, but us together is not a good thing. I don't want to have kids in an enviroment like this. And to add to that, he has a family history of mental illness. Thank goodness we don't have any children.

 i'm so sorry to hear that. but it sounds like you've got a really good attitude about it and that you know what you need in life. i'm sure it will all be for the best in the end if you know in your heart you need to be apart.

And I got the added suprise of getting to talk to punkin yesterday! Dawn, you have the cutest voice! Just goes along with your personality.

i think i sound like a southern chipmunk when i hear myself talk on a recording! hope you guys have tons of fun!!!

I am still trying to figure out the first bleeped word. :confused3

i think it was typed as c***y and i think it rhymes with hockey. ;)

Dawn-I think Italy would be wonderful. I saw the movie Under the Tuscan Sun and I loved it! I hope you get to go someday!:)

me too!!!!!!!!! it's just hard for me to accept there's any other place in the world besides WDW to vacation! :lmao: i'm totally kidding.

what is the DINK list?

i was gonna ask the same thing but now i see what it is. i'm a DINK right now, but we're thinking of becoming non-DINKS soon. and i said *thinking*. we're still not sure yet. i know this sounds so cynical, but i just don't know about bringing a child into this crazy messed up world we live in. i would love to have a little person that's half me and half ray, but i'm still undecided. and i would definitely love having a baby, toddler, kid........but i don't know about the teenager thing!!!! and unfortunately once you have one, it's yours forever......no returning it until it outgrows its teenage years! :rotfl:

speaking of babies, i'm off to vaccum my living room because we're babysitting for our neighbors' 18-month-old tonight and i know she'll be on the floor a good bit. not having kiddies, i tend to neglect my floors more than people that have kids! have a good weekend, peeps! :flower3:

OH! I get it now!

I actually meant the initial comment as a joke... sorry it has turned so serious!! Having kids is great for some, and I am sure it enriches your life if it is something that you want. I just don't have the urge... if anything, I feel mild revulsion (just at ME, not at anyone else!) at the thought of being pregnant and/or raising a child. At 31, I doubt I ever will. DH (36) thankfully feels the same way. So, we will be good to our nieces and nephews, our kitty, and help out our community in other ways.

Have a great and skinny weekend everyone!!

i totally respect that. i think people react negatively too often when someone says they don't want to have kids. it's your choice and i can totally see some of your views myself. and besides, as i always tell people who can't believe i haven't had a child yet, if i KNOW i'm not ready to be a parent, then that's pretty much a given that i SHOULD NOT have children yet (or ever, depending on my opinion on the subject)!!!!! but at the same time i also admire people who have 5 kids and wonder how they do it and keep their sanity???!!!??

Anyone taking alli yet? I really want honest opinions instead of the advertising.

I'm starting Monday!!!

Congrats to all you LOSERS today!!

I was doing really well today until about 5:00.I had turned down donuts, cupcakes and pizza. Then MAJOR stress hit me and PMS and the next thing I knew I had scarfed down two donuts.:sad2: I felt awful and followed it with two burritos from TAco Bell.My DH is in a horrible mood(he has worked twenty hours overtime this week),DS9 has been a total pain in the *ss,and Rachel(DD3) has cried and whined all afternoon.Tomorrow I have people(inlaws, Thank goodness Harley is included) coming for a cookout and then Sunday my side of the family is coming over. With all this I have this crushing loneliness going on inside.I think I am going crazy.

Aries posted about the cupcakes. Our favorites here are chocolate cake mix with diet coke and strawberry mix with diet sprite. My kids love these two.

 you're not alone......you've got your peeps! if it makes you feel any better i just paid our bills and DH and i have about $400 to live on until the end of the month.......:scared1: that's the brokest we've been in a very long time. i don't know what i'm gonna do....i guess i'll be eating whatever i can find in my cabinets by the last few days of the month!

GOOD MORNING! :sunny:

DD13 has returned from Macon and Mercer University campus gets two :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 way up! She enjoyed church camp and the humidity was even very low for their outdoor mission projects. So a good week for her.

With Game Day Central VBS complete, Mom and my neice will leave this morning. They were only waiting for DD to get home. Back to the routine this week. Hopefully I'll get caught up on some of my trip report reading.
I really need to add the abs- you know the nonexistant abs- maybe I'll add that in next week.
Hey! I have those same nonexistant abs! I'm way off track with the exercise. I'm going to try to do my DVD at home this summer....Slim in 6.
I still love him, but us together is not a good thing.
Awww, Amber. I'm so sorry. We're here if you need to chat or vent.
Today's the last day of school, so think happy thoughts of me with my lil cuties on our picnic. Oh, and the last piece of my plan: GET SOME SLEEP!
I like your plan so mind if I join in? I haven't been eating bomb pops but have been eating some equally carpy stuff. Hope the picnic was fun. What do you do in the summer? Relax? I hope?
I'm excited to meet Wendy & Misty so I'll have pictures to prove they aren't my imaginary friends.:)
:yay: You girls have fun!
EDIT- Oooh, the 30 pound ribbon is so pretty, er, I mean, manly. Yeah, that's it. It is so manly!
Good job, Aaron! I love your ribbon. It's pretty manly!
And I think our Cedar Point trip will be in late August, and I REALLY want to be able to ride Millenium Force! (assuming I still have the nerve to try! :rotfl: )
I will NEVER have the nerve to ride Millenium Force! I admire you, Lynda!
not sure what it is yet but it should be about 18 as my cards were 19, 18 and todays 16 :goodvibes
Jolly good, Jo! :thumbsup2
Exercise till you drop
Water till you slosh
Veggies till you pop
Muffins till you poop
I laughed out loud when I read this at work yesterday! But it's Sooooo true!
I feel like the bottom is going to drop out any moment.
Oh the summer pregnancy! I had 2 of those and it is miserable! Hang in there, Monica. It can't last forever!
Another tick mark on the Why I am a DINK list!! :rotfl:
I respect your feelings too and I think I probably felt the same way. I do have to tell you that my first pregnancy (well, all my pregnancies for that matter) was unplanned. I didn't know what to expect and had never held a newborn. But the feeling of holding your own baby and the love you feel for that child is just undescribable. The joy of watching that baby smile at you for the first time and listening to that little laugh just makes your heart so full of happiness that you think it will explode. It's unlike anything I could've imagined. I guess I'm just trying to say that there's more to it than I ever could've thought possible. Being a mom is the hardest and most wonderful job in the world. Just wanted to share that...from a former DINK. ;)
and i would definitely love having a baby, toddler, kid........but i don't know about the teenager thing!!!!
 I thought the same thing but the baby that you love so much is still your baby even when they become teenagers. God just turns them into teenagers so you'll shove them out of the nest! :rotfl2:
Got my muffin recipe- should be an explosive week-
Here's the colon blow recipe too.....

COLON BLOW....
1 cup fiber one cereal
2 Tablespoons flax seed meal
1 cup skim milk or lite soy milk

250 calories, 32 grams of fiber.
Guaranteed results. Do NOT eat before going out for a social engagment. Avoid open flames.
With all this I have this crushing loneliness going on inside.I think I am going crazy.
I'm sorry it's been a rough week. I hope next week is much better for you. Here's another

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, PEEPS! :flower3:

 you're not alone......you've got your peeps! if it makes you feel any better i just paid our bills and DH and i have about $400 to live on until the end of the month.......:scared1: that's the brokest we've been in a very long time. i don't know what i'm gonna do....i guess i'll be eating whatever i can find in my cabinets by the last few days of the month!

I sooo understand not having any money----Let's just say I am broke and no payday until the last working day of June. My Dr. and hospital now what full payment in advance of the baby being born. They did not do this when I had Joshua--so we are sucking it up and paying them both off by the end of next month and just going to make do. It is not going to be to bad for me I am only home for another week and then me and the 2 older kids are leaving for camp for a week. Then it will be payday:banana:. Si fir now we are doing things that do not cost or at least do not cost much.
