Short bio - I am 35. I have a wonderful husband, Brian, of 15 years - just had an anniversary last week. I work at a church. I am the preschool director, I assist with the directing of the private school (K - 6th and after school), I work with the youth and jr. high, and I am the small group leader and I help coordinate events. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Early Childhood education so I can help other centers and teach part-time university classes. My hobbies are reading, spending time with my family, dissing, and planning Disney vacations. My life is chaotic at times - but fun. I joined the Peeps because I need to lose about 30 pounds and I love Utahmama! I have definitely fallen off the wagon. I have not gained, but I have not lost. We have been so busy that I am eating at weird times and eating weird things. I am trying to get back on track. This is a picture of me and my daughter at Ohana.

Wendy, maybe you and I should compare our wild pasts!! Just kidding - DH does not like to be reminded. He met me at church and has a hard time picturing the other me. What hotel is SOG - I am stumped. After reading everyone's responses, maybe 11 was too young for a first kiss and that is why it was so awful! Wow I just realized that I was a year younger than my DD when I had that kiss - I think I will go to bed on that note.

What hotel is SOG - I am stumped.

SOG = Shade of Green. It is a deluxe military hotel on Disney property. It used to be owned by Disney and was called the Disney Inn I believe. You get the perks of staying at a Disney hotel like EMH but you do not pay the Disney prices.

The nerves are setting in. I had an anxiety attack earlier. I decided to DIS a while to relax and it passed.

I had a nerve wracking but exciting experience tonight. I told y'all that I'm the educational chair for our local Ren Faire and I had to talk to the president of the group that presents the faire about a plan she had. I had to disagree with the position she took and stand my ground with out her thinking I wasn't making progress or slacking in my duties. I did it! I was able to present my points and was articulate and poised during our conversation. I'd been dreading the call because I'd always looked at her as a senior and someone I should defer to. Not only was I able to present my ideas but she said they were well thought out and I have a solid plan. I'm starting to feel like a big girl!

I really should head to bed......... I know adrenaline will keep me going all day tomorrow but I should be well rested instead.

My sister's name is Ashley..does that count on the "long, lost twin" tally sheet? But then again I HATE Mexican so I suppose they negate.

As usual...I hope everyone has a great day. Supposed to be 82 deg. here today! DH has to go to Pittsburgh for two nights to "check-out" of the Navy. This probably sounds goofy, but I think I look really good in a baseball cap. The shape of my face really lends itself to that. Also, I used to shave my head bald and I have a pretty good looking cranium.

Does baseball season count as a season? I'm a Milwaukee Brewers season ticket holder, so I would say baseball season. If that's no good, then I'll say spring because the weather is getting warm, the snow is melting, and everything is coming alive after a long winter.

To follow up on number 16, my wife is the only person I have ever dated. I've been told that I'm a pretty good looking guy; but I've always had single friends, so why would I want to give up going out with the guys to spend time with a girl? But when all of my single friends got married I realized it was time for me to enter the dating scene. I met my wife about 5 years ago, and I knew pretty much from the start that she was the right woman for me. We got engaged three years later, and we are into our 2nd year of marriage.

i don't think that's embarassing....i think it's really sweet!

and i think my DH would argue that football season counts as a season! in fact, we always have a superbowl party....he's celebrating because it's the superbowl and i'm celebrating because i get my husband back!

I took a picture with my digital camera of our first WDW trip - and yes, there is too much polyester in the clothes!!

We went for a Christmas present, my parents were so sneaky - they saved their coins, and gave them to my brother and I - can you imagine shaking that box?? It was so heavy!! We stayed in Yogi Bear campgrounds and dreamed of "someday" we'd stay at the Polynesian... we were also able to ride Space Mountain - as a "test" they would randomly come up to families and say "we're testing a new roller coaster, would you like to try it for us?" Later that trip the line snaked outside and was rumored to be over 4 hours long - and yet we got to ride it with NO LINE!! (and I still can not believe I rode that with Nathan when we went I was pregant with DD - 6 months pg - and I didnt hesitate to ride it!! )
