This kind of sounds like my family. My kids are September 5, 14th, 24th and hopefully 30th! I was joking we a had one a week--and you have 3 in one week WOW! I am sure that you guys have gotten a lot of little jokes over time---at least we have in December of every year.

my dear cousin has 4 boys birthdays all the same week in December!! I teased her once and she looked me in the eye and said, "hey, what can I say its our anniversary once a year"... in MARCH!!

Now, we didnt have such great plans... but ds noticed we celebrate a birthday EVERY other Month!!

I see someone had a bday! so Happy Birthday I hope you treat yourself to something special and fun!

Its raining again here today! Last night I told DH i was buying a new bike so I could do the spinning from home. Its been raining so much here that I cant go out and walk. I love doing the Denise Austin but I think variety and not getting bored is important with exercise.

What do you guys do for breakfasts? I hate the receipes in the south beach stage 1 so I usually end up just drinking a ton of water and then I do salads the rest of the day. With salmon or other things with them.

I've got a stinking cold today, sneezing even woke me up But DH have been for a nice hours walk it's still shorts weather here we also went and looked at a golf club for me to join which have introduced a new scholarship deal which I'm hoping to get. Normally there is a joining fee of $2000 and annual membership of $1800 but if I get the deal there is no joining fee and fees are half price. Hopefully I'll qualify as they are looking for new members under 40 (I'm 34) and who would be an asset to the club, when I was 20, before I did my back in, my handicap was 12 and I played for my county twice, so hopefully they'll want me. I so want to join a club as it's good exercise and I'll be away from the fridge The interview isn't for another couple of weeks!

So I did 75 crunches last night..that's all I could muster. I have always read they are better then sit-ups but who knows. I thought I could easily get to 100. At least I had David Caruso on the screen for some motivation!!

You asked!!! Way back in 1992, my mother took my then 3 yr old DD back to her house for a week after Christmas. New baby arrived 9/18/93. Not sure about Heather??! Does somebody take your kids for a week after Christmas or do you always get a REALLY nice gift for Christmas?!

Funny story, last year on my birthday, my DH gathered the kids upstairs to get my gift together. I was trying to stay out of the way, so I was on the computer. I noticed that I heard my dog's (Shadow) tags jingling. I knew they had put my cookie cake on the table, so I decided to go investigate. Well, by the time I got in there, she had eaten about a fourth of my cake! She has a strong nose, and is tall enough to reach the table if she raises up on her back legs. Well, what did I do? After yelling at her, I did what any respecting, non dieting (at the time) person would do. I cut off all the parts that she had eaten, and we celebrated with what was left. It is so funny when that picture pops up on my screen saver. The picture is me with a cake that is missing half of my name!

Sorry it is late, Allie. Had another bad headache from Monday to now! Went to ENT and he is doing allergy testing. I went from ENT straight to Immediate Care for a shot. For the first time that didn't even work. I fell asleep about 9 and just woke up. I need to go do some school work. I hate how these headaches put me behind.

Melinda - did they ever figure out what was going on with you?

Heather - Sorry, I did not even make it back to my office yesterday. Had 2 meetings and went to dr. I will call you tomorrow.

Although, today will probably not be good diet wise. Since it is my birthday, we will order out at work, and somebody is bringing my favorite dessert. I promise to eat in moderation.

Yes, that was me having the birthday. Thanks for the well wishes. I drink a Slim Fast for breakfast. If I don't do that, I eat an All Bran cereal bar. They are really good and only 2 WW points, and lots of fiber.

BY the way, got contacts today. THEY are soooo hard to put in and take out! I am SUCH a baby! Of course, I only did one eye once in front of the Doctor...but I tend to want to be perfect right away with anything new I try! VIRGO!

It'll be fine in about a week. A week!!!!

I have been wearing contacts for more than 15 yrs. A tip for ya! I NEVER look at my finger as I am putting them in. I actually look to the side, put it in, and when I move my eye back to center they center themselves. They really do....trust me. It really freaks me out to seemyself touching my eye! Same thing when I take them out, look to the side, grab it and take it out. With some practice you will get it. And I did the 30 day lenses too. Those were great for me for a while, then my eyes needed a break. So now I have 7 day ones.


Amanda got up 3 times last night. Ugh. 11,4,and 5. No reason, she was just up. I am exhausted today!!!! And I am sure by this afternoon she will be a complete joy too.

Maybe today will be an Alabama spring day instead of the relapse of winter that we have been having. Its so yucky to see the azaleas in bloom, that beautiful piercing blue sky and it be 40 degrees outside.

Can I have a piece of that choc. cake with the raspberries? Its my favorite!

I think the rain is supposed to move in again today. I think all that rain over the weekend is what did me in in the first place. I'm feeling better, just can't hear out of my left ear due to it being so stopped up. So I will probably look like this today.

When we told my MIL I was expecting--she looked at us and said, "Wow, you guys have a very ritualistic December." I replied, "Yep, we really enjoy the Holiday Season." I was not happy with her comment. Other people have joked and said I know what your husband is getting for Christmas! I don't mind my friends joking about it, but my MIL that is another story.

I am enjoying a delicious nutritious Slim Fast Carb shake (sold 4 in a pack for the same price as the 6 pack regular ) with a side order of Hoodia.

If you like eggs, do a frittata. Basic recipe in the book. I like broccoli and cheese.



I have ALREADY this week hit my max. goal of 1.4 pounds lost to stay on track for Sept.!!!! YAYYYY! I just cant get all cocky now! Friday morning is 48 hrs. away! My minimum goal is 1 pound to lose 23 pounds by then. I'd like to lose 33.

Yesterday while at the Dr. I asked about travel and he just looked at me and said, "No matter what I say you will still go to Disney. When are you going?" I never mentioned when I asked where I was going. I really wanted to know to make sure that my beach trip was ok in July. My DH friend asked if it was a boy if we were going to name him WALT. I considered it, but it was vetoed very quickly.

They have 3 indoor waterparks, with everything from lazy rivers to wave pools and lots of slides and more. So they weather didn't matter.
