Just checking in just wanted to let you know that I am going to be in patient at a hospital in my home town for at least a few days . My right kidney is infected very badly. The best chance is an in patient treatment with fluids and antibiotics. Please pray that this goes away. I'll have mamabearjo keep me up to date over the weekend on your successes.

Someone strangle my ds - he was supposed to buy me 2 tickets to his musical debut (pit orchestra) for My Fair Lady, I have stressed to this boy that the tickets will SELL OUT (as all the hotel rooms are gone!) but does he HEAR ME??? DS #1 (must want money) went to buy them, only to find out he's not on the list db is on the list - so he couldnt buy them!! So I call DS #2, he said he was on his way, TWO HOURS LATER, and nO tickets, and he turned off his phone - dagnabit...

Tell him he better get on the ball because you have a peep in town that you can send after him. Where are they doing My Fair Lady? Do you know? Did you find a room anywhere???

I did a secret trip once! DD woke up Christmas morning and in her stocking were plane tix, WDW tix, Cirque tix, and Disney Dollars.

I think I have this right... on Star Trek: The Next Generation, the baddies were the BORG, a group of part human, part machine "people"... they were a "collective"... all linked together, what one knew the others instantly knew. When I see someone post "BORG", it is like them saying "I was thinking the exact same thing at the exact same time!"

I am going to make fortuen cookies and put in clues and will make a shirt God willing I get this right that says My parnets love me they are giving me the world for my birthday. Also disney dollars need to look into some pins and daily surprises themed to the park we are going to that day. Lots of planning still ahead and OMG i have only 35 days!!!! Yes I know its plenty of time but heck thats just fun to say!!!!

Wow ... your life gets a little crazy for a while and you get tooooo busy to visit the DIS. You come back to this chat group and you've missed 40 bazillion pages!

Have now got to get serious about getting healthy & slimming down ... I JUST BOOKED A TRIP TO WDW for Oct. We've never been to MNSSHP. Looking forward to it. Going to surprise DDs.

Can't wait.

Been thinking of finishing the scrapbook from our Dec '05 trip and maybe finally finishing and posting a trip report as a way of organizing and preparing for all the planning for this next trip.

OK, I have had 110 oz. of water so far, and I am not even home yet! If the relatively pleasant weather holds out until I get there, I plan to walk the puppy when I get home. Following that, I will weigh again, and we will see if this morning was just some water hanging onto me, or if there is something else going on. And hopefully DH and I will do a little shopping tonight, and I can get some lemons and do that warm water/lemon thing too. Could someone remind me what the measurements were for that? TIA!

Hey Guys!!!

So far we've lost nearly 26 and a half pounds! OH YA!!!!!

Today for my weight loss efforts, I'd usually be thinking subconsciously to eat a little something NOT diet-y because it's the furthest point of time till the next weigh in!

Anyone else do that?

So, that's one thing I'm working on.

Oh, and I've been taking Hoodia for appetite and it really works!
I saw an infomercial on it but there's was to expensive, so I go pure Hoodia at Walmart (it cant be diluted with green tea or anything else to be safe and most effective) The dose I take is 1000 mg. 1 hour before meals. And it REALLY helps with my nighttime munchies!

Has anyone else tried Hoodia? It pretty much works for me and it isn't the placebo effect.

What is it called exactly at Walmart. I wanna get it.

I just found out im going to be in my friends wedding so this weight has to come off!!!

Im going to need all your strength Im on my plateau right now and have been for 2 months after I lost those first 12 pounds.

aries1980-- I think it's called SMART BURN with hoodia. My sister who works for an OB/GYN said that he told her that hoodia works, and she got some to try and she said she loves it. I have some tracker3 stuff that I got at a military wives retreat that they sponsered and I used some yesterday and it gave me LOTS of energy. It is the purple and pink ones. Hope that helps, and UMama correct me if I'm wrong about the SMART BURN.

Lynda, I had tried the warm water with lemon thing a few years ago and I had forgot all about it unitl reading your post. I mixed a tablespoon of juice per 8ozs of water. After a couple of days I could tell a difference. I think I'll pick up some lemons tonight, too. maybe we can compare results? BTW, what kind of puppy do you have? We ahve shih tzu's and they are more lap dog then walk dog, kwim? I would love to have a doggy to go on walks with.


AND I believe I read where someone was getting nekkid, to weigh in. I take as much extra weight off as possible, that's why I hate weighing in at the doctors office, they arent nice enough to take a few pounds off for you. AND I don't think they want to see my shiney hiney ....... hey do ya'll know that song?

It ONLY helps with appetite. Not magic. I take them 4 times a day. One before each meal plus one for the late night hunger I sabotage myself with without the Hoodia!

If you find another brand make sure it's not blended with green tea or anything else. The stems are the most potent part (it's a succulent type of cactus so it's all stem to me, but I dont know)

You'll notice the difference right away with feeling fuller sooner and longer.
Spongie is doing it too. She's was even more sceptical then me, now she swears by it too.

So Sorry, Aries, it is Hoodia X57, I called my sister at work after posting SMART BURN with hoodia, and she and the doctor both said it was the X57. I heard him tell her that he tried the Smart Burn but liked the X57 better, He said to make sure to take a multivitamin and drink plenty of fluid, since it curbs your appetite so well.

I FINALLY LOST A GRAND TOTAL OF (DRUM ROLL PLEASE) 5 POUNDS!!!!!!
It was the hardest 5 lbs ever! Why is it so much easier to gain weight?

I know what you mean! To me HUNGER and APPETITE are two different things. Hunger is when your stomach is empty and wants to eat. Appetite is when I eat all day never ending grazing. Hoodia helps with both, I believe. Of course, it's not replacing meals at all.

I'm up 3 Ya think the 47 boxes of girlscout cookies I ate (don't worry not really 48 but I bet I polished off 2 boxes on my own!) and the total lack of exercise this week had anything at all to do with it? Oh well, live and learn. I'll try to be better this week. Honestly, I just wasn't in the mood to be good with my food choices this past week. I try to get rid of those 3 this week .... and no I'm not deleting my ribbon!

I did try to start back this week and did get back to the original 5 pounds I lost a few weeks ago. So here I go again.
