Disney Destiny 5 Night - Which 2 Dining Rooms should I request to repeat?

Which 2 have the best second night menu?

So, I called DCL today and yesterday. One cast member talked to a supervisor. All still claim that there is definitely a pirate menu during 5 night sailings on the Destiny. They made sure to distnguish between the pirate menu, and the overall pirate night. I've read the exact opposite here and on Facebook, which I'm guessing is true. Cast members are often incorrect.

The cast member today said definitely a pirate menu on my 5 night sailing this month. He said the regular or alternate menus would not be offered that night at any rotational restaurants.... Take it with a grain.

I put more faith in this board, so I'm basing my rotational choice on what is said here. I appreciate the intel.

I was just on the Destiny on a 5-night sailing two weeks ago and there definitely was not a pirate night menu in the MDR that night. I fully understand what you were told by DCL, but it seems there is a disconnect between those answering the phones and what is actually happening.

I of course can't speak to any future sailings, but that was my experience on the Destiny just two weeks ago.

Gees just looked at the northern europe trips. All boring trips from south hampton with one stop save for one 7 day norway trip. What has happened? They used to do iceland for 10 nights. Gees at one point they did st. Petersburg and eastern europe.

They arent even trying with the itineraries now.

There are two Norwegian Fjords trips, one Northern Europe cruise, and one British Isles cruise from Southampton so I’m not sure why you are only seeing one seven night.

What happened was Disney realised they could make a lot of money from British cruisers by running short itineraries during summer school holidays here.

So, for the 5 Night Destiny sailings, there is not pirate night. Instead, you go to 2 of the 3 restaurants twice. Each restaurant has a second menu, but you would not see a show the second time.

For those that have been on the Destiny or Treasure, which restaurants had the best night 2 food? I'm leaning towards requesting Pridelands since night 2 is only offered on the Destiny, but I am curious if Night 2 at 1921 or Night 2 at Marvel was better? Which should I request as my 2 repeats? Would love to hear any responses from Destiny or Treasure.
If you’re gonna get Marvel… I’d get it once. The other restaurants are fine, but the Marvel dinners aren’t complete without the full ambiance.

Thank you... That's where my problem lies. I'd like to get Pride Lands and 1923 twice, BUT I don't want to risk losing the Pride Lands menu to the pirate menu. I'm nervously requesting my rotation to start with Pride Lands, hoping that the no pirate meal continues for 5 night cruises.

Tell them exactly what you want, don't try to engineer it yourself. If you want a rotation that goes to Pride Lands twice, but doesn't have Pride Lands on pirate night, then say that. Trying to 'guess' what will happen and then requesting something based on that may mean you're requesting a rotation that doesn't exist, or you don't get what you want because they didn't understand exactly what you were going for.

I honestly don't think you will get the pirate night menu on a 5-night, unless there's a drastic change. There have been several reports of no pirate night menu on the 5-night from people who have been onboard.

They are wrong we were just on Jan31-5 and 5 night does not have the Pirate menu

We did B2B 4 night following it and they had the Pirate menu

From the rotation screenshot shared by concierge in a previous post on this thread, it's possible they may be changing things for the 5-night Destiny sailings. We were just on a back-to-back with two 5-night sailings, and neither had a pirate menu. But both had a rotation of 12312, even when pirate night fell on night 3. The 12231 rotation on the screenshot, and the insistence of CMs that there will be a pirate MENU on this sailing, makes me wonder. Eliminating the pirate night menu on 5-night Destiny sailings was always an experiment, so it's possible that they are going back to a common pirate night menu for upcoming sailings. Time will tell!
