Yesterday it was -3.8, today it's -2.4 pounds. I'll take it! YAY! My goal was -1 to -1.8 per week to achieve my Sept. goal. I feel like a rock star!
Well, I mentioned it in teeny font last night. What if we did a 20 pound challenge for September?? Starting TODAY ((those of you that think friday after weigh in is "free"!!!)). Any ideas for a prize??? Any thoughts or suggestions?

My shins hurt, my left thigh... dH says its about 1 1/4 mile I've been traveling, today was tough... WWPD?? I put on my workout clothes and decided I wasnt taking them off till I got out there! No excuse. I made it! DH says the first 2 weeks are the hardest... omg, its going to get worse?
On my Ipod I start with Aretha and RESPECT... in the middle is carpenters, I need to switch that out - through some Judds in there.. right at the last quarter mile... Clay Ailen comes on Measure a Man - what an inspirational song - It makes me think of Jesus - and I raise my hands and get through that last 1/4...
so, I made it.
I drank my water, and am having more.
Tuna for lunch
all bran for snack
vitamins and v8 juice
Popcorn for snack
salad and chicken for dinner...

How many times have you eaten badly and NOT exercised! What you did HAD to be better!I had a bad day today, though - hubby brought home brownies from Zingerman's Deli and I could NOT resist. So I got on the exercise bike and did
10 miles and drank some extra water (not that that will probably help much). But tomorrow's a new day and I WILL do better.
I'm trying to find an electronic food journal I can use on my PDA. I'm hoping the novelty wil inspire me to get back to journalling my intake thoroughly again.
So sorry -DH called me at work today to report that one of our bunnies wasn't acting right and he thought she may have gone blind. I told him to bring her to the hospital right away. She pased away while he was in the car with her.![]()

Uhhhh, I dunno? I didn't think it through. It was one of those middle of the night (sleeping pill has worn off) inspirations!
The only thing is, I cant really afford a cool prize. What would be a cool 20 pound prize?
I actually was thinking of making a beaded necklace or bracelet. Each bead symbolizing a pound. Something to add to.
It would be a concrete visual of our progress. Only, since I'd be wearing it constantly, I don't want anything that can tarnish or change to a funky color.
I just dont know!
I thinkit was DisneyO who suggested putting up $5 - $5 isnt much, but even between the 3 of us it could be somethin - I live near a Disney Store and could get it changed to Disney Dollars!!
I just read the last page, will get caught up later. About the bracelet thing, I make jewelery. I work in semi-precious gemstones and sterling silver. I have several designs that I've made and can work on something custom if everyone wants.

It was a tip from another weight loss program - they suggest an 6-8oz coffee mug - very warm water - and 1/2 lemon - real lemon works better than concentrate - but I use concentrate from time to time!
