I cant BELIEVE how successful you are! Are you a dude? Did you have surgery? You ARE a rock star!!!!!!!! Whatever you're doing, it's working!

No tapeworm (that I know of :laughing: ), I don't have the right "parts" to be a dude (good thing, 'cuz hunky trainer dude doesn't swing that way :lmao:), and I'm too chicken for surgery (but I AM willing to force myself to get a tummy tuck and a "lift and refill" up top when the time comes :rotfl2: ). I seem to go every other week... though I haven't had a week this good in quite a while. I don't advocate the beer and cigarette diet, but I think that did have an effect... I've been told to "shock" my body... I think that did! This coming week won't be great (every other week bites + AF + no more cigs!)

I"M TIRED OF ME!!

This is going to sound funny, but that might actually be a good thing... that is the point I had to get to before I finally got motivated to DO something. I've been the same weight for 18-20 years... why didn't I do something about it before? I "kind of" tried, but I didn't reach the tipping point until this past winter. I am SOOOO glad I reached that point!!!!!!!!

I need to find a way to shake that doubting voice in my head!

I peeked at my weight on Wed. and was down 1 and low and behold this am AF stole my pound. So I am a samer this week. I have had a cold for the past few days- not much on the food intake- well, not as much as usual, but I have been drinking alot- could just be water retention I guess.

Hoping for a better week next time with my new friend Hoodia at my side.

I posted this on the other thread, but I know some people are not checking there or are missing the dates we are going to be there by a week or so.

Also, the lady at the grand gatherings number said check-ins for the 21st and 22nd are pretty much obsolete at this point for any resort. Even if you are planning to check in on one of those days, book it for longer and call back to change it later. But the reservations people are not allowed to tell us that, I asked and she volunteered it :rolleyes1 She said they are giving more resort choices to those willing to book longer stays. We booked 20-27th and we will call back to shorten the stay on at least one of the rooms. She told me there was no penalty or chance we would lose the room as long as we called before 45 days.

Just wanted to pass this along. I know there were some others who wanted pop and didnt get it.:goodvibes
 

Checking in quickly from work to report that I lost 4 pounds!! I am so close to my 10 pound bling!! I am really going to kick in the exercise this week. That is my goal!:thumbsup2 I can't post to much but I will be back later.:wave2:
 
Hello! I finally am done with my Disneyland Trip Report! YAY!

I'm having a hard time NOT thinking today is a free day! So far so good!!! That stupid Easter Chocolate is calling me though. DONT worry! I wont touch it!!!
 
Well, I mentioned it in teeny font last night. What if we did a 20 pound challenge for September?? Starting TODAY ((those of you that think friday after weigh in is "free"!!! :rolleyes1 )). Any ideas for a prize??? Any thoughts or suggestions?

Count me in for a September Challenge!!! However, I would like to have the 20lbs off by Aug 18th, which is DD's wedding! I want to be the "sexy" Mother of the Bride! :rotfl2: How much do you think I can feesibly lose by June 16th, my niece's wedding? I'm thinking 10lbs, since it is 8 weeks away.

As for a prize,how about anyone interested puts in $5 and someone collects it and buys Disney Dollars with it??? Whoever wins the challenge, wins the Disney Dollars!!:wizard: What do you think???

I hear ya! I am the same way. Each week I have been doing fairly well. This week, nothing, no gain no loss...so truthfully I should be happy enough that I didnt gain and make smart choices this week. But instead I am beating myself up over no loss, excuses...blah, blah, blah. I need to find a way to shake that doubting voice in my head!

OK...Thanks to you all for the prayers and pixie dust.:love: I apprecate it and am making a turn around on this weight thing. I know I can lose the weight, I've done it before. Just because I'm older doesn't mean I should let the slowness of losing get to me. This has become a total mental thing and I am letting outside stress and others make me give up...NO MORE!!! :scared1:

As of today I am back on track and will keep track of every morsal that goes in my mouth! popcorn::
I will do some form of exercise everyday. :yay:
I will drink at least 64 oz of water a day.:drinking:

i know....it's kinda snuck up on me! this saturday will be two weeks and we leave! :woohoo: no, i'm not packing yet, but i have started a "disney bag" where i'm keeping anything i plan on wearing (as to not dirty it right before our trip), ponchos, coffee cups with lids (i'm on a coffee maker swap), coffee filter singles, a new pack of hair bands, stuff like that. i just want to keep it all in one place! it's in the closet in my office where DH won't see it and think i'm a freak.....although he already knows that......don't know why i'm tryin to hide it! :goodvibes

I have been trying to get things for our trip little by little so I won't have to buy it all at once. I have a few shirts and some travel sized things. Yesterday, at Target my husband knew when he couldn't find me to come to the travel size stuff aisle.:rolleyes:

So I lost 1 pd. this week..well actually 2 weeks since I didn't weigh in last Friday. I was hoping for 2 or 3 but I'll take it...esp. since I didn't eat very well in the days leading up to and after the wedding. Plus, I haven't been walking. I'm hoping to start this weekend since it will be close to 70 degrees Sunday!!!! Have a grat Friday everyone!!

:rotfl: It was a tip from another weight loss program - they suggest an 6-8oz coffee mug - very warm water - and 1/2 lemon - real lemon works better than concentrate - but I use concentrate from time to time!

I need a swift kick in the rear. or my head... its my mind that is slowing me down... bad problems in real life, sorrow for Virg Tech and I'm starving.

Part of me feels desperate - part of me feels like "what's the point, I'm always going to be this fat girl - so learn to love her" and I do love me... mostly...

I have a LOT of catching up to do today!!! I'm not sure how well I'll do though. It could be a busy day. And when I get home, DH and I are moving the new king mattress into our bedroom, as well as moving our bed into the guest room and moving the twin trundle bed that's in there now out to the garage. So, that will be my work out tonight, I think! :laughing: I will try to get caught up though. In the meantime, :hug: to anyone in need, or to everyone for that matter, and :welcome: to any newbies! :)

:) Hi peeps! I hope everyone is having a great day! Tonight I am going to see Meet the Robinson's at the drive-in. I am really looking forward to it. :cool1: Today was a beautiful day! My goals for this weekend are:

1.Stay within my points.

2.Exercise (walking or the balance ball)

3. Water! Water! Water!

What are everyone else's goals for this weekend?
 
I fit in a half hour walk-vent w/ 2 coworkers... the only really "private" place around here is outside. But, counts as exercise!!

My goal for the weekend is to keep to my calorie limit. I already had my cheat day this week and it is super-hard for me to stay away from beer on weekends.

I wanna go home. It is almost 6PM and gorgeous outside. Working is for chumps.

My shins hurt, my left thigh... dH says its about 1 1/4 mile I've been traveling, today was tough... WWPD?? I put on my workout clothes and decided I wasnt taking them off till I got out there! No excuse. I made it! DH says the first 2 weeks are the hardest... omg, its going to get worse?

On my Ipod I start with Aretha and RESPECT... in the middle is carpenters, I need to switch that out - through some Judds in there.. right at the last quarter mile... Clay Ailen comes on Measure a Man - what an inspirational song - It makes me think of Jesus - and I raise my hands and get through that last 1/4...

so, I made it.

I drank my water, and am having more.
Tuna for lunch
all bran for snack
vitamins and v8 juice
Popcorn for snack
salad and chicken for dinner...
