okay.........so i decided a joke to brighten your saturday would be appropriate.

a little boy who had recently been circumsized was sitting in class one day when his recently-altered private area started to become irritated. he went up to the teacher's desk and told her about the problem he was having. she told him to go to the office and call his mother to tell her what was going on.

the little boy returned a few minutes later and sat down at his desk. the teacher noticed that several of the children around the little boy were snickering and causing a commotion. she walked back to the little boy's desk and found that the little boy had unzipped his pants and was exposing himself. she asked him what in the world he was doing and he said, "my mommy told me to stick it out for another hour and she'd come get me."

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

okay....i hope that was worthy of my DIS veteran status. :)

I bet you have some other names to...;)

You are correct..MWHAHAHA!! That is the nicest name DF and I could think of for cheap-a**es!!! We are planning to buy into DVC this summer and they are going to flip out on us..saying what a waste of money, blah, blah. I think I will conveniently leave the information packet on the dining room table, with some other papers as well, to see if they notice when they come over tonight. DF says I live for controversy. He is correct. ;)

Punkin!!!! You are a riot! Dont be worried about being a thread hog! As long as your not a cookie hog....((that's all I got! my "funny" is lacking today!))

I'm cleaning like a crazed weasel becasue I'm having my very first Scentsy Candle open house. I'm burning "Sizzlin' Coconut" and my house smells just delish! Usually I burn "Sugar Cookie" or "Banana Nut Bread" but I'd need TOO much Hoodia to keep from wanting the real thing!

Does anyone else stick clutter in the master bedroom and CLOSE the door when expecting company???? The clutter of which I speak is a pile of bills/mail/crap and about 4 loads of unfolded laundry (piled HIGH on my bed!) that I should have folded last night but "dint"! :sad2:

Wooooo Hooooty Harley!!!

our Grand GRAND, final total was:

39.4 pounds!!!

I think of how much my kids weigh when I try to picture THAT much weight.
:cool1: :woohoo: :cool1:

I saw Yankee candles for the first ever time in the UK on monday were these those? Loads of people seem to say how nice they are!

Definately, although it's normally the spare bedroom and then I freak if someone wants a guided tour. :rotfl2:

Aah yes...the "pink" room is where we are stashing all the piles of wedding crap. We also don't have a hall closet so the steam cleaner and vacuum are in there too. Luckly, future mil does not open doors randomly.

wow....you have a good memory! yes, i did. i'm in georgia now, but my family is still in nashville so i go up there a lot.
I was in Franklin, KY the same weekend you were in Nashville. It's right on the KY/TN border...all my family still lives there.

Cute joke! :lmao: Hey!!! AND WOO-HOOTY.....you're a DIS Veteran!

I JUST BOOKED A SEPT. TRIP!!! The CM asked if I wanted to make ADRs...SURE! Got them all done except I don't like the Le Cellier time. I'll call back and try to change that tomorrow (is Disney Dining open on Sundays?) and then just sit here and check my user CP every 30 seconds til free dining is announced....which will make or break the trip plans.

Hope it's gorgeous and 75 where you all are today! It sure is great here in KY! :sunny:

Just saw this and nope it's cold, miserable, slightly raining and nearly dark! Clocks change tonight so the evenings will get lighter :cool1:

Whoo hooo on your ADR's Melinda what did you get? Disney Dining is open on Sundays as I booked my first lot on a Sunday. Hope you get the time you want!
Thanks! I hear they only release a few reservations each day up to the 180 day so I'll call back and try to get something earlier tomorrow. Here's what I got...all are dinner reservations...
9/22 Kona
9/23 Narcoossee's for DD's bday (DS to Mouseketeer Club)
9/24 LeCellier
9/25 Ohana
9/26 California Grill (just me & DH)
9/27 Le Cellier (may end up canceling this one...who's hungry after the World Showcase?)
9/28 Kona

I know, I know....not much variety but we know what we like so it's all good.

Not at all they sound lovely and you obviously like Kona which is good as that's where I'm going for a meal with Disneyland_mama, lauralee131, S'Late and PrincessV. And a meal alone too I suppose that's the advantage of having a teenage babysitter :thumbsup2 Hope you get your Le Cellier time!

okay....quick post to tell you guys that i just put on some shorts that i haven't worn in two summers because they were too snug and now they're loose!!!!!!! :cool1: whoooooo hooootyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!

i'm off now to help DH in the yard since it's beautiful and 79 degrees here in georgia!!! :sunny:

Hope you get your Le Cellier time!
Thanks! Me too! The absolute best time to ride Soarin and Test Track is between 8-9 pm if you're not there to see the fireworks. I'm hoping for a 6pm Le Cellier ADR so we can do a couple of rides on the way out. (fingers crossed, double crossed for free dining.) ;)

so y'all got chatty after I left eh? and roflol at mil 666 - I noticed that!! *wink...

:rotfl: :rotfl:

When my DH and I were dating my MIL refused to let me on their property because I was corrupting her son :cool1: I guess it was good corruption since we have been married 13 years and still going strong :cool1:

DH and I started dating in high school, he is a year yonger than me, and I'm the only one he really "dated" (or really brought home to meet the family!) We dated for 5 YEARS before we got married - his mom still has not forgiven me... his sisters still villify me - honest to God people we've been married and in love for 25 FRREAKINLY AMAZING WONDERFUL YEARS _ I am NOT going anywhere, but they wont get over themselves... it will be interesting if any of them come to their only grandson/nephew (well not only as my ds18 too --- oopsy!!)
My fav story was when we were first married dh went out of town on my bday, and so she invited me to dinner - served liver... with gravy... (ew and yes I politely choked it down and filed it away for future mil stories!! lol)

WOOHOOTY

I am a bit jealous seeing as you just joined in January!! And you are two months younger....I should be the veteran!! ;)
so start posting woman!! *grin

what she said, and thanks for posting about Aries and you conspiring to give me the joy of receiving Peep Mail... WWPD indeed!! Peeps would drink all their water, exercise 30 min, and of course, make healthy choices!!! :goodvibes So when you are down and out, and need a friend, do know we're sailing right behind... like a Bridge Over... oh, what a minute... *blush!!

Oh Yes UTMA, you caught me... you must've missed my confessional... I was coy tho.. and lately I've not even bothered with throwing it in our room - but then again no one visits us anymore... I do make it my daily cleaning ritual to clean and get rid of any sticky messes, anything that may cause mold, or smell... and try so very hard to keep the coffee table and dining room table clutter free!! I do have a goal... and I appreciated the peeps that came to offer the most important.. It meant a lot... it means a lot... I also tried Fly lady, but since I got so many stinkin emails, I couldnt keep up, and failed that too... there is quite good evidence that messy clutter is a sign of genius... :yay: lol...roflol

See these are my dream dates, its hard to come here and stay focused!!

fdil is still puffy and having a hard time, but she let me take care of her and feed her - so she is now off and back to her own apartment... she mentioned she was invited to a wedding in Florida during the Peep meet time... so now, I dont know what we'll do if she cant babysit for dd...

Lots can change in 8 months tho!!

Ooh how funny, I thought that was the purpose of the Master bedroom or our computer room was to house unread mail and unfolded laundry :laundy: . Thanks UMama, you made me feel so much better that I'm not the only one who does that.

Just had to quickly tell you I'm an Auntie  my DSis finally produced about 90 minutes ago to a little boy Oliver, still don't know what he weighs but Sis says he looks big  She has been in hospital since Wednesday and they kept starting her and it stopped and finally at 1am this morning (he was born at 6pm) she went into labour naturally but it was still pretty long. Anyway I can't wait to see them both tomorrow even though I've already spoken to him on the phone :rotfl2:

Oh yes...our guest room/scrapbook room/candle storage room. (I used to sell those candles you are having a party for!) I was running around like a lunatic right beofre DD's b-day party back in November. I literally filled that room with junk, so much so that you could not walk into it. Well, one of the moms at the party thought that room was the bathroom and discovered my dirty little secret! I was so embarassed. I am sure they all still talk about me at their perfect mom meetings ;)
