Baby steps.. I am gonna try to get there again today or tomorrow to at least walk for awhile..B

It really is all about baby steps and persistence.

Today has been hard (kids need to go in four different diections,one has a mild concussion,no "real" time for exercise,five kids that have been trying to kill each other,house is a MESS,etc) Anyway the only thing that has kept me from a huge binge is Friday's weigh in.I think I have to reevaluate my plan of action though.A walk around the soccer fields instead of going to the gym,etc.Thanks for listening.

Getting the exercise in is difficut. It really has to be planned and considered non-negotiable, but I'm a master negotiator!!!

I'm behind because of my crazy life, so I'll come back and finish tomorrow. Wanted to say stayed the same which was OK for the kind of week it was. I met my exercise goal, but eating wasn't good. Tomorrow is DD's birthday, so there's more food stuff to deal with. I'm going to put on my Peeps bracelet and do my best. Speaking of the bracelet, I'm squeaking in at 11:39 p.m. to say, "Happy birthday Christine!" Here's your calorie-free, guilt-free cake. Hope you had a good day.

Up 1 lb! Yuck...I really need to mentally figure out what is going on with me. (Other than the fact it is harder to lose at 44 than it was at 24!)
I am a little depressed on how much life has changed over the past year and it will only change more with each passing year. Boy, getting older really stinks!!!
(OK...end of pity party..need to move on.)

Right there with ya. Hard to lose weight, kids are getting more independent so see them less often, etc. from a fellow forty-something (45 here).

picture time! these are the only two i have of our adventure up to gatlinburg to get hitched. the one where we're smooching is kinda discolored because i scanned it in while it was still in a picture frame. and DH doesn't look to happy in the other one! maybe it was the 4-hour drive through the mountains and running around gatlinburg like a couple of maniacs before we found the right guy that did him in!!!! ahhhhh.....the memories. i can't believe it's already been five years!

I loove these pics! I especially like the bear and the Dr. Pepper sign! So...looks like you guys would like Fort WIlderness ..or WIlderness Lodge best!

You are an amazing mother in law!!! Mine is a few sandwiches short of a picnic, if you know what I mean! I've learned to laugh at her oddness because if I didn't I'd cry.......she has lived in my basement for the last 7 years!!! My dh has less tolerance for her than I do. She tried to medle in everything about our wedding. I'll stop now because I could write a novel about her whackyness! This is the women who gave me a "face massager/vibrator" for christmas last year!!!

Do the authorities know that you put your MIL in the basement? Oh and does she want company? I'll be glad to send you mine!
