I really need to stop weighing so much.
i know you meant stop weighing so much as in weighing yourself so OFTEN. but when i saw it i thought, "yeah......that's why we're all on this thread, because we really need to stop weighing so much!!!"
i must be delirious from pulling my hair out after watching that vandy/kentucky game today.
I hate crowds, so I wouldn't do it... I hear you have to be in the park that you want to spend the NY in by about 10AM or you won't get in. But, it is up to you...
yeah, i'm rethinking it. thanks to everyone for your advice. i just talked to anna and we're thinking we might just go for a long weekend in early december instead. we can't afford to take a week-long vacation during that time of year, plus ray doesn't have the vacation time for it. but we definitely want to try to make it there for the christmas stuff. so i'm researching another plan for a long weekend in early december now!
SANDY - THANK YOU for sharing that with us!!!! i teared up and it's hard to get me to do that! you're truly an inspiration. i hope we get to see those pics you're talking about. and I'M SO GLAD you got your medal.....i can't wait to see you in it!
we're proud of allie, too!!!!!! i doubt she'll be checking in until she gets back, but just in case i wanted to give her a shoutout.
YOU GUYS BOTH ROCK THE HIZ-OUSE!!!!!!!

I just wanted to stop in a say hello! Thanks for the birthday wishes on Tuesday ~ I got the message from Amy (Harley) that I needed to get my buns on here and check it out. It's nice to be remembered, especially since I have been such a slacker on keeping up with this thread...I still love you all though!

for you!
back! I recongnized you right away!
so sorry to hear about your crappy year. i'm sure things will turn around. my brother was 15 when my dad and my stepmom (his mother) split up and had a hard time with it. one day we had a talk about it and i explained to him that right now it stinks, but that this could lead to new and better things - for example, if my parents had never split up when i was 4, my dad wouldn't have married my stepmom and i wouldn't have my brother and my sister in my life. when i said that i think it helped to change his attitude about things. it's hard to look at the future positives in a divorce when you're that age.
