Aaron Sorry you didn't get many trick or treaters but good for you that you took the leftover candy to the office for all of your co-workers who are not on the "health kick"![]()

Glad that you guys know what you are going to do. Nothing like the stress of figuring out jobs. With you kitchen--how long do they think it will take to do? Will you start after the holidays are as soon as possible? Also, what changes do plan on making? The next change we will make is granite counter tops. Then we will redo kust my shower area. Wish I would have watched all these home redo shows before we built 2 years ago. They have given me so many new ideasDH just does not appreciate them
Good luck with the renovation---ket us know what you decide.
How exciting! I love seeing before and after pictures of remodeled houses. When I watch "House Hunters", I always hope they take the house that needs work, because I really want to see the transformation. If I order my cabintry this week, they'll be ready in 3 weeks and he said he could have it done before Christmas.
I will take pictures of the kitchen and post and explain what we are having done.
Aaron:My Turkey Day Challenge is: 10 pounds. Please add me. Thanks.
I love House Hunters--one of my fav shows. DH hates that I watch that channel. Can't wait to see the before/afters from the remodeling.
OK, I'm going to admit this to you guys. When we moved into this new house 4 years ago, I thought I'd be a nice wife and I surprise sponge-painted the garage. We have a 3 car garage and DH uses the small car garage as a work area. I thought I made is so cute. Well, DH is a guy and guys don't particularly want their work areas sponge painted. Silly Faith, didn't think about that first. So now when any man comes over who hasn't been there before, my DH gives them a tour of his garage that he says looks like a baby nursery with clouds.
So I'm warning all of you peeps not to watch too much HGTV because this is what happens to you.
Well, I can't really speak from experience on rescheduling, but I will tell you that I felt like the DDP was a waste of money for us in September. Because of my "health kick" (I think that'll be an inside joke that I won't soon forget), I got used to not eating as much; and my wife isn't a real big eater to begin with. So we ended up cancelling a few of our ADR's and decided to share a BBQ pork sandwich or some similar type of food from a CS place. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving I believe 3 TS credits apiece unused. Not a good use of our money, for sure. But not knowing you and your family's eating habits, it might make sense for you to add it. We loved it when we were on our honeymoon in Aug '05. I just know that we didn't take advantage of it this last time and probably lost money on the deal, even after figuring in how much the TS meals we did eat would have cost us if not for the DDP. (Got all that?) We did use the "trade one TS credit for two CS credits" thing once when we were there. But I'm not sure if that is still an option.Hi guys, I need some help from you experienced planners.I also thought about adding the dining plan. That would be an extra $191. Can you trade TS credits for CS credits? I know that dd would rather eat at the fast food places more than the sit down restaurants. I do have one Character Meal planned, but no others.... With the dining option it comes to be $1522. Without dining it is $1330.54. DD is NOT a big eater, so I don't know if the dining plan is worth it.
This is why my wife and I have an agreement - she can do all the decorating she wants, as long as I get final approval. It helps prevent these sorts of problems from occurring.

My Trick-or-Treating was very disappointing.
Is it just me or should there be an age limit for trick or treaters? I saw just to many teenagers and then people with itty bitty babies and trick or treating for them. Yes, there were other kids, but does the 9mth old with no teeth need a bag?

Right now my room is $369, and the tickets were $486.90. I would be charged $25 + shipping to return them. That is a total of $880.90. The package deal, which includes free park hopping water park & more option, is $788.04. If I add dining it is $979.96. I was trying to stay under $1500 total. My plane tickets are $475. The race fee was $65. With the dining option it comes to be $1522. Without dining it is $1330.54. DD is NOT a big eater, so I don't know if the dining plan is worth it.
Please tell me what to do.
funny story: i was at the mall today and was walking through a little alleyway in between barnes & noble and the actual mall. i noticed a little old man with white hair and a long white beard talking to some kids. as i got closer i noticed that his red sweatshirt said, "yeah, i'm him." he saw me looking at it and said, "i've got something for you, too!" and handed me a candy cane. then he said, "you know who i am, right?" i said, "i sure do! isn't it a little early for you?" he said, "nope.....i'm around all year...you just don't know it!" then he walked away. I THINK I MET THE REAL SANTA!!!!!! okay......just had to share that. it was a really cute and yet oddly creepy moment!![]()

Hi guys, I need some help from you experienced planners.![]()
They just released the codes for my stay in Jan. I called this morning and they had availability at Pop, but here is my question. It saved me less than $100. Is it worth returning my tickets to UT, and switching to a package deal that has to be paid for on Nov. 25th!That is right at Thanksgiving, and the bill will come at Christmas.

Or should I wait and see if they issue a "room only" code for my time frame. Sorry to bother everyone with this, but I just don't know what to do. Maybe I should just leave it all well enough alone.![]()

I would love to lose 15 pounds before I go to Disney in May (for my bachelorette party with my aunts & girl cousins ) and a total of 20 pounds for my trip to Las Vegas in June (another bachelorette party with my girl friends..Crazy right??!!! 2 bachelorette parties but im not complaining) & September 08 wedding. We will see how it goes.
When I left for Aruba which was about 2 weeks ago i weighed 135.. I have eaten everything that hasnt been nailed down the past 2 weeks and i wouldnt be surprised if i gained 5 pounds the past 2 weeks!!!I read the couple of last posts I live in Tribeca in NYC and in an apt building we had only 1 trick or treator sooooo i ATE all the candy last night!!! GREAAATTT ...but im back to being on track.
When I was in H.S. (Im 32 now) I weighed 168 pounds i lost that weight and fortunately have not gained it back since. I really like working out at the gym and love turbo jam and the firm workouts but would really like to kick it into over drive and get in get shape for my trip to disney in May.
So Hello to everybody! and wish me luck!!!
We weigh in on Fridays, and post it in a BOLD pretty color, so that UtahThreadMama can keep track of it. Then she post how much we all lost in one week! Just jump in and start posting. I know we all introduced ourselves way back, but I can't even remember where that is anymore.![]()

Oh, thank God! LOL! Thanks for the welcome!Welcome. We weigh in on Friday morning, and post the loss in big bright numbers. You don't have to say what you weigh. Come on often and share about life. That's about it.

I bought Blow Pops yesterday to give to the trick or treaters mainly because I DON'T LIKE THEM! Do not buy candy that you like....or you will be tempted to eat it! You have been warned!
