D, it's funny how we seem to fall off at the same time!

I have done terribly this weekend. I am going to try really hard to stay on this week, but I may bow out of the official Fri weighins until October as to not drag my peeps down.

Sausage gravy... you guys are killing me. White gravy is about one of my most fav things on the planet, and adding sausage just makes it that much better. Killing me.

Hope everyone is having a great day!
This is my downfall as well. The gas station near my school serves this is the morning over a huge biscuit and sometimes I have to stop and get one.

I got it like 2 weeks ago... I love gothic tink!

That is awesome. :thumbsup2 I just may have to order one in the near future.

Pigget!!!! I feel for you mostly o the mis-diagnosed kid. He's a good kid but needs the RIGHT meds, I'm sure. What a crazy story with the mom being so oblivious. My son who is now 18, was finally diagnosed at 8 with ADHD (I even took him to a specialist in Minneapolis!!!) and I remember he's get MELLOW when he'd drink Mountain Dew! If you give a non-adhd kid caffeine like that, you'd have a huge problem. He's kind of adapted and morphed into adult-add but is not medicated now and is totally "normal".

I don't know how you do it! I'm frustrated for you!

When you get together with the other teachers in the break room, is it a huge _!tch-session? :rotfl2: :flower3:

For the most part it is not---except mom not caring part. He is in all regular classes for now with an inclusion teacher part of the day. I really do not see him in this setting much longer. His teachers just want to know what is going on and what mom says to hekp him. It is amazing I have 2 degrees--one K-8th grade all regular and then another k-12 special education. When I got my sepcial education one I was only trained for Specific Learning Disabilities---like math, reading, ... I was not trained in behavior disorders or emotional disorders or even Autisim (I have done a lot of research on this one b/c of B/F son and for a while they thought my oldest DS could be aspergers--so I know a good about it and some of the things to look for or that send off red flags in my direction. To me this kid has a lot of red flags so our district is looking into some more testing for this family because we do not think he is being served correctly. Back to my certification--these days we are seeing more and more behavioral and emotinal disrodered kids--that are in my classes and others that are in regular classes that teachers think I should have the magic button to make it easier for them when in all honesty I do not have clue---I joke with my partners that I do not have a degree in crazy, but I am about to be a certified one if something does not change. Don't get me wrong--I LOVE WHAT I DO and I feel that I was called to do this. Just somedays -as in anything- are easier than others.

okay, melinda, i tried the thai chicken lean cuisine and i have to say....i'm not a fan. i know you're disappointed because you love them. but i will say that it's not the taste that was the problem. it tasted good. but i'm a very texture-oriented eater and the sauce was kind of gritty. i couldn't deal. so i had to toss it. it's the same reason i don't like beans.

i then tried the kashi cilantro lime shrimp and......gross!!!!! it was a big pile of mush. the rice wasn't firm at all......just like soggy cereal! i'm so disappointed because i thought i'd love this. so i ended up taking two corn tortillas, filling them with garlic herb tuna fish, italian seasoning, parmesan cheese, lettuce and tomato. it was pretty yummy. i didn't count the calories in them because it's silly to even worry about doing it for THREE DAYS instead of the whole week, but i can't imagine that they were high.

Went up north for the weekend. Got in last night. Way toooo much to catch up on. Chatty Katty's I swear!

I think I'm getting a kid back to watch this week. Desperate mom.

slowly moving in the back to work mode.

Wow it has been a week and this is the first chance I have really had to just sit at the computer and relax. I am between loads in the washer. Last week was very tiring.

 and Yay! on the less than a month.

Okay... you got me interested. I had one of these in the freezer, so I decided to have it for dinner (does that make me like one of those kids that just has to touch the stove even though they've been told it's hot???).

I have to say, it wasn't my favorite and I don't know if I'd get a bunch more of that flavor. But I didn't think that it was too bad. The "rice" was more like lots of different grains than actual rice (is that why they call it pilaf??) and the sauce was a bit bland, but all in all I would eat it again...

Uggh... I hate the end of the weekend. Just means I have to work the next day. :(

maybe i cooked it too long. mine was just a soggy mess.

the justin timberlake concert was SO GOOD. anna's three-year-old was dancing like justin and it was just about the cutest thing i've ever seen. well, in a long time anyway! and DH was making fun of the screaming girls, saying, "justin, here, take my uterus.....i love you!!!!!!!!!" :lmao:

Hi- Ive been lurking and working -alot.

Hope everyone is doing well. Hope you all have a good time on your fast approaching PEEP meet. I will be thinking about you all.

Girls made the competition dance team- we are dancing about 6 hours a week now so not a lot of time or moola for me- thats ok- wont be too long before they are grown and wont need mama anymore.

The nationals were supposed to be in NewYork next summer but just my luck guess where we are headed?????!!!!!

Nationals are in ORLANDO!! YIPPEE!! So I'll be back to Disney. They are being held in the BuenaVista Palace back behind downtown disney so if anyone has any info on this place I would be interested- right now I'm thinking I will stay at POP and just drive over for the competition days. That way when the competitions are finished we will already be settled in for our Mickey Time-

Just wanted you guys to know that I am still here.

Have fun!

GOOD MORNING, PEEPS! :sunny:

Sun's almost up here so gotta get moving!

Punkin
....Sorry you didn't like the thai chicken or the Kaski meal. Wish I'd been there to eat it for ya! ;) What sort of stuff do you like? Maybe I can recommend something else!

Sparkie....We've missed you! So cool that you get to go to Orlando!

Aries....Love your scapbooking design!

Everybody else....:wave2:

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Good morning all. Sparkie that is great news. Nothing like a good reason to see the MOUSE!!

I think it is time that I moved to the couch. I just can't sleep. DOes anyone else feel like this--When you have a short week at work and you miss Monday the week takes forever to get over, but when the short week is Friday you don't seem to notice. Maybe it is just me.

Have to get the kiddos up. Have a good one.

i'm so picky it's sickening. i usually like the lean cuisine stuff.....it was just the texture of the sauce i didn't like. the actual taste was fine. i love pasta and veggies and italian food and mexican food. my favorite frozen meal is the three cheese ziti from smart ones. it's hard for me to get anything frozen that's mexican because i don't like beans and that stuff is usually smothered in them. i'm probably going to try that pesto pasta primavera tonight from kashi.......i'm sure i'll like it.

have a good day everyone!!! :goodvibes

Good Morning All -

Now Punkin, what happened to your ticker? I thought it was 19 days yesterday?? (Did I mention I was never good at math??)

gotta run!

How cool!!! I am sure it is alot of work for them AND you, but doing competitions on that level is so fantastic.

Good Morning

My kids are not in school today either! This is one long weekend! It's some kind of SEP conference stuff, I think.

Melinda, but I love Kashi meals (except for the lemongrass one) and Thai Chicken. I got the one from Weight Watchers- our Walmart didn't have the Lean Cuisine one.

18 more dayyyyys!

I'm down a little in my weight again today! I better hurry and tell y'all before it goes up on friday  I'm trying really hard!!! No Two's, No Two's!!!! Almost there!

I'm working on a Witch/ballerina(witch with a tutu for Pissy) costume and a witch (think Hocus Pocus) costume for me- so if I'm semi MIA, that's why. I hope they turn out cute!

I'll be around today every time I need a break from sewin'!

THey should turn out fine. I wish I had any talent with sewing--if so I could make some nice blankets for baby--oh well--that is what the mall is for I guess.

I am very OCD and I cannot stand to have an outfit for baby and not have at least one blanket with color in it. I also try to coordinate the pacifier, oufit and bottle. I have always done this--even with DS who is about to be 13. I know to much energy, but they have to look cute right? Ok that is enough about my OCD moments I know you guys probably think I am crazy. My firends just laugh and say that is Heather for ya.

Anyway--you guys have to remember me at the meets and stuff---even though I am counting down to Rebekah and I still thinking of all the fun you guys will be having. My B/F leaves on the 14th (Joshua's b-day) and I am very jealous. Not that I would have much fun there right now. I am sending money with her to pick up a few things for the baby--ornament and such and then a Mikey Monster for Joshua.

Morning!:coffee:

Happy Tuesday. :cheer2:

My kids go back to school tomorrow. My oldest starts Middle School. Our morning routine starts a whole hour earlier this year! With a newborn. Eeks!:scared1:

I am just so incredibly jealous of your upcoming trips. I really hope you all have fun and I can't wait to read all about them. Have a drink and think of me. :)

We are seriously thinking about going again in Dec of 08. We are considering 10 days.

Pigget: I slept on the couch the last 2-3 weeks. It's so close. Pretty soon.

Sandy: I hope your hot flashes take a chill pill. Try wetting a towel and wrapping it in ice and then put over the back of your neck. I did that in WDW with my mom who gets hot flashes all the time and that helped her deal with them in the heat.

Hey Lexie! Wendy! Everyone else!

Just a word of caution on the microwave meals. Watch the sodium. They are ok once in a while but try not to eat those often.
I rather eat homecooking anyday. Taste better, even if it's healthy homecooking.

I am making the menu for baby's christening. It's sunday.

I love to cook.

So I don't sabatoge anyone's diet, let's just say I'm cooking polish this weekend.

Make it a great day!

hey everyone!!
Boy o' boy do i need to be careful and active between now and Friday!! I was in my friend's wedding this past weekend and can we just say, open bar, passed hores deurves and DESSERT ROOM..not to mention the actual meals....wow. i am already dreading WI on Friday!
Have a great day everyone!! :)

PEEPS! I just found this info about having private photo sessions at the Grand Floridian that you can have added to your photopass CD! The sitting fee is waived if you buy the CD and you can use the prepaid photopass CD too! I booked a photopass session for my kids right before the peep meet!

Grand Floridian Portrait Sessions Offer One-On-One Photo Moments
LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- There's a new occasion to "say cheese" at Walt Disney World Resort: during individual portrait sessions now available at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Guests who desire a more one-on-one photo experience during their Walt Disney World vacation can book a shoot at the majestic Victorian-style resort where a Disney PhotoPass photographer escorts the group through some of its most picturesque backdrops. Guests can create a portrait package that suits their individual needs with two current offers: a single sitting ($49.95), and a package that includes a sitting and a PhotoPass CD with all of the digital images taken by theme park photographers during a guest's vacation ($124.95). That is a great deal. How do you do the prepay photopass and what is the benefits of doing that? Let us know how all turns out--maybe they will still have this when we go. Oh yeah, where did you find this information--would like to pass on to some friends that are going soon.

Hi!

UM...I am starting a quilt for my grandson. However, I need my sewing machine serviced first, as the bobbin tension is messed up. I'm dropping it off tomorrow! Have fun with the outfits you're making! :yay: Can't wait to see them! (Congrats on no 2's!)

Piggett...Boy it's getting close! Rebekah will be here before you know it! Relax as best you can until then! <sleeping angel>

Melinda...The portraits sound like a great idea!!! Perfect opportunity for family pics before Mimi goes off to college! (That's next year, isn't it??)

Well, I started South Beach AGAIN yesterday!!! I was so well on it, then went away and evrything fell apart! I am craving sweets today, but have nothing to curb it. I'm just drinking water and 4C Totally Light. It helps.

Eeyore...I've started eating 1/4c of soy nuts daily and I think it is helping with my hot flashes. These are easier to eat then drinking the soy milk. I keep hearing how soy is great for these. Hey, it couldn't hurt! :confused3
