I hope everyone is happy and healthy. The weekend is almost here.
On the mouse front (the furry brown kind, not the cute one in Orlando), I have not caught him yet. I just hope he was a bachelor and did not move his family in as well. The dogs are over the trauma and ventured downstairs last night and were sniffing around. These are the same fearless idiots that were scared of a baby squirrel that got into our house last year.We named that wayward critter Darwin and gave him to a rehabber. We also had a cat get in bed with us once. We don't own a cat and have NO idea how it got inside. The cat freaked out when it saw the dogs and hid under the bed. The dogs freaked out and jumped in bed with us and shook. Pathetic... What is with us and all of these lost critters wondering into our house?! An injured bird landed on my head one morning when I was putting the baby in the car. That was another trip to the rehabber. Maybe I am related to Snow White

MonyMony, How is your knee? I injured mine earlier this year when I started running and ice really helped take the edge off even a few weeks after the initial injury. I hope you are feeling better soon and that the cryer has settled down. It is good you are going to see a doctor. Keep us posted.
Cheers,
Kim
Thanks Kim. For the well wishes and the belly laugh. You are hilarious! I laughed so hard at your critter stories. Now I will thnk of you as snowwhite.
I skipped the Jack yesteday, but had a coke to fight the head ache. I was one cranky mamma last night. My poor kiddos.
At drop off today the dad said, I can't take this anymore and said i'm outta here and left the cryer crying. He just cried and cried.
I did notice something. DH is home today and the cryer took to him and actually ate today from DH's encouragement. Maybe he likes men.
His mom, I was told is usually MIA. But she does pick him up from daycare.
Just sounds like the kid has been through a lot. I hope to give him comfort and stability and something he can count on.
Hey Wendy: I posted somewhere else that Tim got his new market list. They gave him 10 markets and Salt Lake City is one of them. Isn't that just funny?

i will take what i can get...!
your husband is a saint! my boss's DS14 broke his collarbone the other day and she had to bathe him a couple of nights ago. she said it was a very odd experience!

DD on the other hand had a yucky diaper this morning but nothing since and she's been eating everything in site. Hopefully no more poops and we can go to the mall tomorrow, I have to get out. I belong to a mom's group that meets at the mall every other friday and have lunch so I hope DD is better so we can chat a little.
They are YUMMY..hey for 150 calories, i think its worth it once and awhile!

I am sending you
for good health.

Your story cracked me up!!!! What breed are they, dare I ask?

This morning it was clothes...she would wear all black, everyday, if I let her. So, as the person buying her clothes, I make sure to get some color in there. Not crazy or anything, just not plain black. (She tries to embrace this "emo" culture TO much, anyone else have teenagers, or is this like a foreign language? I wish I knew less about it, believe me) so for the past 3 days it's been black pants...which she only has 2 pairs of. I've been telling (nagging, I'll admit it) her to WEAR OTHER CLOTHES! She has clothes that still have the tags on them. Clothes that she has only worn one time, probably just to keep me quiet...clothes SHE picked out and chooses not to wear, so it's not like I'm buying the "wrong" thing. Believe me, I've learned not to just buy something that I think is cute for her. So this morning it went from the overworn black pants to the dark gray jeans with a big hole in the knee (not by design, AND that I told her the last time she wore them are only play clothes now) to finally a pair of jeans. I didn't care WHICH pair of jeans, just not the same black pants or the worn out gray ones. I honestly think she does it on purpose. I can see her in her closet, staring at her clothes with a manical look in her eyes, thinking, "Yes yes, My Preeeecious, what can I wear Toooday to thwart the Eeeevil Queen...MUH HA HA " grinning with evil glee as she rubs her hands together.
good luck with that. i never gave my mom problems with running late as long as she told me when we were leaving. in high school i used to need an hour and a half's notice. now i can be ready in 20 minutes!
Here's your laundary fairy and when she's done at our house, send her to mine; My brother was like that in the shower too, he would stand against the wall and let the water miss him totally for 30 minutes and then who ever wanted a shower after him had to wait for the water to get hot again; how old are your sons?; mine are 8 and 6 and I don't have that problem yet, the problem is getting them in
, I really wanted to go to because my rings felt really loose on my finger.
