EDIT #2: Still not happy with my signature, so I thought I would change it to the caption below...

love it! :lmao:

Josh would SO fit in too! His cousin is in town and brought with him 'new old' Transformers, and in Josh's own words, he was "geeking out about it". :rotfl:

OK, so since I can't see parts of my signature while here at work, can someone tell me what they are seeing now? :confused3 I took the picture out until I can resize later. I moved my bouncing pumpkin, and I shrunk the font and removed the smilies from my list of trips.

i have to admit i have my own geekiness to own up to. i  lord of the rings. it's really pathetic how many times i can watch that movie and never get tired of it. AND read the books! i have a quote from gandalf as my screen saver......all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

here's what i see on your signature:
line 1: your name (princess lynda)
line 2, 3 & 4: your TR links
line 5: your bouncy mickey, your characters, your smug mug link and your 30 pound ribbon
line 6: all your trips listed in small text

The bottom of your signature is your WISH 30 banner, but the very bottom of that is cut off. The word "Pounds" is cut in half.

Thanks! :) But this is weird because I can actually see more of it than that. :confused3 And I did discover that it matters how wide I have my window set. Of course, I can't see my sparkly signature here at work, so that might be why. I'll have to work on tonight. Gonna have to get creative.

BROTHER!

I am shocked because I never really thought about it being a boy all this time. And I have to admit, as selfish and ungrateful as it may sound, I am a bit sad too. I have 2 sisters and we are super close so I really wanted that for Amanda. We are 99.99% sure this will be our last so I am sad she will miss out on that bond. I know there are lots of people out there who would be thrilled for any baby, so I feel really silly and horribly ungrateful being even slightly dissapointed. I just wish I would have taken time to enjoy my little girl more when she was tiny, I think that is part of it too. Ok enough grumbling from me. Please dont think horribly of me

Funny thing...DH didn't want a son, only daughters. (Which we were blessed with two in one shot!) When I was pregnant with DS, I told him it was a boy and he didn't believe me. (No ultrasound showed boy/girl well back then, so we didn't "officially" know.) He loves his boy, but he is definitely my "little boy".

My offical date is March 5th. But Amanda was a week late, and HUGE and ended up a c-section after 36hrs of labor. So my Dr wants to go ahead and schedule this one as a c-section for late Feb.

March 5th is my DGS b-day. He was 3 weeks early, originally due March 27th.

My, I see the signature muncher has been at work over here today. Yikes!

What is with the "signature muncher"? Poor melinda's head is cut in half! :scared1:

I'm the oldest of a brother/sister pair and I'll be honest, we didn't get along for the majority of our childhood, BUT we're also 5 years apart and like night and day. Not to mention the fact that the boy had the audacity to be born during my 5th birthday party. I was like, 'COME ON! I didn't ask for a little brother for my birthday!! Where's my Cabbage Patch Kid???" It's been a battle from the very beginning.

This had me laughing because I was brought home from the hospital on my sister's 5th b'day and she never let me forget that she never had a 5th b'day party because my mother came home from the hospital that day. :confused3 Like it was MY fault!?! Anyway, this is the sister I really am not close with.

Looks like I'm gonna have to shrink my picture or something. What a pain in the hind quarters.

EDIT: Looks like this'll have to do for now. I just hate all of that white space next to my picture.

EDIT #2: Still not happy with my signature, so I thought I would change it to the caption below...

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I  what you did with your signature!!! Now THAT'S making a point!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao:

Hahahaha! Was your old siggie out of compliance? I got an infraction for that one time and it's on my permanent record....:sad1: Which makes me nuts. But, I HATE scrolling through LOOOOONG siggies. NOT fun.

Is it 12 lines including spaces?

Anyways, Happy Thursday every one!!!! Thursdays usually stress me out. But,today I'm armed with fresh broccoli! I made a very filling frittata for breakfast.

And, I haven't eaten the MNSSHP candy (all the chocolate is already pawed through)...It's JUST 5 pounds by Thanksgiving! I can do that! Hopefully it will be a pretty number tomorrow!!!!

Lynda- I love your new ribbon! It would look very very nice in my siggie too :rolleyes1

Dance- It's totally normal to feel that way, even if briefly. SONS love love LOVE their mamas! I can't wait for you to hear these words, "Mom, when I grow up, I want to marry you" from a 3 year old beautiful innocent son! Or when they pick a flower for you roots and all! Or surprise you with a small wiggly creature! They are the BEST!

Ok, now I see everything I saw before, plus all of your trips and 1/2 of your ticker.

Yeah, apparently so. I could only see the top of our heads in my picture, so I tried adjusting and playing but it never looked right. It'll take some doing to get it to look normal.

Good morning peeps. It's only 9:00 am here on the left side so I'm right on time!

Aaron Your new signature is awesome.:rotfl2:

Spongie Have a great time at Disneyland. Lots of magic to be had there. I will be there Saturday just for the day. I've got to check out the Nemo sub ride since the classic version has very very fond memories for me.

Heather I'm still sending Pixie Dust to Christi. I just completed my 8 weeks of radiation on August 14th. There are not many side effects which is a blessing.

Melinda What vidio do you exercise to? Perhaps if I had some company, I would enjoy it a little more.

Gina Enjoy the RV show. DH and I owned a very large 5th wheel with slides and loved RVing. But then we had to live in the dang thing for 4 months while our house was being finished (couldn't find a place to rent on short notice that allowed dogs). After living it, I lost the magic and we sold it. I've been trying to talk DH into a motorhome now but he told me that I had to quit buying DVC add-on points first!

Dawn I love Lord of the Rings too. I loved the books when I was younger and the movies follow the books so well. I think these are the only movies that my DH and I both enjoy. I've always known I was a dork. I'm an uncoordinated accountant with glasses, can't get much dorkier than that.

To the rest of the peeps, have a great day and I hope everyone has a great weigh in tomorrow morning.

Our weekend plans are going to L.A. to see DS31/wife and their newly purchased 1 million dollar 1200 sq ft home without air conditioning. Gotta love the real estate market in S. Cal. DS31/wife both work in the film industry and get lots of perks so I'm excited to be going and hanging out with them. They are both Disney lovers too so I know that they will have something special up their sleeves.

Ok, now I see everything I saw before, plus all of your trips and 1/2 of your ticker.

Yeah, . I removed my sparkly signature, and now I can see everything. :confused3 Well, I can't see my bouncing Mickey pumpkin, but I am assuming he is there. I am going to try to REALLY shrink my picture at home tonight and put it next to my WISH ribbon. We'll see, I guess.

Well, first of all....baby #2 is healthy and measuring right on track. It didnt want to show us the goods, so the sonogram tech kept jiggling my belly to wake it up :lmao: And, I have only gained 5 total pounds so far, so Dr and I were happy with that considering I was still overweight to start with. Amanda is having a baby.......

BROTHER!

Well I have a sister and we are not close. Not one bit. We fight more than we get along. There's about 4 1/2 years between us. I always wanted a brother growing up. My sons love their baby sisters and take care of them. I can see an older sister being a "mother hen" to a baby brother.

Ok, gotta get some work done because Ghost Hunters is on at 9! I love that show.

Don't cha just love the 3-4 shows in a row on Wednesdays! I fell asleep right after 9 though.

I have been doing pretty well this week, although I have to admit that I deliberately ate less calories yesterday so that I could have 3 glasses of wine...

.
I do the exact same thing!

Today we signed with a company for a new roof and now it's time to FINALLY get my kitchen remodeled. This is been 8 years in the making folks! I put the call in today. I'm so excited I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1: :cheer2:

Hi peeps!

Hope you're all doing well and having a great day. I liked all the suggestions for healthy munchies. :hippie:

Yesterday was pretty tough -- after waking up doubled over with abdominal pain, I forced myself into the shower, dressed, and went to work (cause I'm just stubborn that way).

1/2 hour later, I couldn't even sit up at my desk and had to have a co-worker drive me to the emergency room! Five hours later, they told me they can't find anything serious (like appendix or gall bladder trouble), but that I should follow up with my regular doctor to check on potential other problems, like maybe an ulcer or acid reflux-- sounds enjoyable. Plus they've got me a prescription that is giving me a headache.

Today I am back at work trying to catch up and being "mothered" by my boss (which is pretty funny in a 53 year old man!). I need a nap now.

Plus I still have to teach my aerobics class tonight. Plus then I have to go to the Girl Scout meeting. Plus.....okay, I'm done kvetching now. :rotfl:

Fortunately, I am off tomorrow. I will have my doctor's appt and hang out with my daughter. Should be much more relaxing. :cloud9:

Have a great week everybody!!!

ugh....abdominal pain is the worst! i know...i get it all the time! good luck on finding out what it is! mine's IBS....which is just serious enough to be annoying!

Don't cha just love the 3-4 shows in a row on Wednesdays! I fell asleep right after 9 though.

I have loved that show since it started! I can't wait for the Halloween special. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my roughest days of work (usually) so I actually think about just making it to Wednesday so I can watch ghost hunters. I secretly have a crush on Grant and Steve

Well my interview went ok I think but she said she'd let me know :confused3 That has me worried only because these interviews are usually only a formality and they don't turn students away. I need to have a placement already! Hope I hear back from her soon.

I've been so grumpy lately. Like this morning I was on the verge of tears and I really don't know why. I think I'm more stressed out about school/work than I realize and that is how my body is handling it  I just can't wait for tomorrow to be over. I want the weekend to be here!

Time to post...let's see how my siggy looks :upsidedow

Congratulations! My sister just found out today that she is having a boy. I was really hoping for a girl because I have a nephew that was born in Sept. & one that was born 2 weeks ago. 3 boys in 4 months is crazy. ;) j/k

Misty,
Have a great time on your trip.
:goodvibes

Saturday morning I have to take my grandmother back home and then I'm heading to Martinsville, Virginia for the NASCAR race. I'm so excited. 2 days with just my hubby and no kids. :woohoo: Just had to share.

WHAT???? Another peep is a Nascar fan too. OMG. Me too, me too. I hope you have a wonderful time and I wish I was there with you. I'm sooooo envious. Gosh, if I lived on the right coast, I would be dragging poor DH to as many races as possible (he thinks Nascar races provide a great time to take a nap). I can't wait to hear about your little trip when you get back.

Good Luck weighing in tomorrow, gang!

Post your gain or loss in BOLD and Big, pretty please.

Remember your Thanksgiving Goals!

5 pounds and one piece of candy per day if any, for me!

Heather - Sorry to hear about Christi's cancer. I will continue to keep her in my prayers.

GOOD MORNING! :sunny:

Danielle....What brand was the bleu cheese vinaigrette? I don't think I've seen it?

Yogurt lovers (are ya listening, Lynda?) ...My new favorite yogurt is the YO+ by Yoplait. Reasons I like it:

It's probiotic like Activia.
It doesn't have artificial sweetners.
It's only 110 calories.
It's great with a Nutrigrain bar for a quickie breakfast.
It has 3 gr. of fiber.
It's the right size/amount for me.
IT COMES IN CHERRY!!!!

EVERYBODY ELSE.....:wave2:

Have a fabulous day!!!

The dressing is Marie's. It comes in a tall bottle, not the jar that their regular and light bleu cheese come in. It's in the refrigerator section. Safeway used to make their own, which was actually better (and cheaper) but it disappeared.

I was thinking about it today and really, the only thing they have that I'm really going to want are Sweet Potato French Fries. :faint: Hot, yummy, a teensy bit greasy with some ketchup. So I think I'm going to limit myself to that and another small treat.

Does anyone else do that? (Happily) Anticipate what they're going to cheat-eat?

:flower3:
All the time, because if I don't think it out ahead of time, I end up having it all when I get there. Planned cheat-eats are like planned vacations. I get to enjoy them in anticipation as well as in real time.

Hi peeps!

Hope you're all doing well and having a great day. I liked all the suggestions for healthy munchies. :hippie:

Hope you feel better and find out what caused it.

 Hang in there. The weekend is right around the corner!

Oh, and it's Friday where many of you are, so I'm going first posting my weight loss. I'm down 1 lb. I dragged myself to the gym tonight, and was so happy to see the loss. That T'giving goal has really helped me to regain some control.:thumbsup2

Pretty numbers, y'all!

GOOD MORNING & HAPPY WEIGH IN DAY!!! :sunny:

Even though I'm not officially on the weigh in roster, I just wanted to chime in and say that I lost the Disney weight! Thank goodness! Who really eats that much food in real life?

Ziggy/Lisa....Hope you are feeling better today!

Danielle
.....Thanks for the heads up on the Maries dressing. I'll have to look for it! Sometimes I like the lite vinaigrettes better since really the only difference seems to be there's less oil.

Pakey....I've been doing the Slim in 6 DVD. There are three stages....beginning (20ish minutes), intermediate (40ish min.), and advanced (1 hourish) but I really only have the motivation/time to do the intermediate and I only do part of the cool down so I can do it start to finish in 40 min. It's a good all over work out and I highly recommend it. I bought it ages ago at Target but I think you can order it at BeachBody.com

GAYLE!!! My head is cut in half??? REALLY!? I can still see my head! Can everyone still see me? My siggie is tiny compared to some. Gayle....new limitations on signatures went into effect yesterday or the day before. The program automatically removed all signature text and images over 12 lines deep I think.

I see Aaron is starting a grass roots siggie protest!

Jen....My birfday is March 3 and it's easy to remember...3/3. Shoot for that one!

Dawn
...Tell Ray I watched Transformers last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd love to have Bumblebee and Optimus Prime living at my house!

Where' Sandy?

EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT FRIDAY!!!!

Melinda...Yesterday your siggie pic was VERY BIG and your head was cut in half! :scared1: Today, however, it is small again and I can see ALL of your beautiful face!! :cutie: I was laughing at the new regs because siggies would just stop at the correct size, so LOTS of people were missing part or all of there "stuff". :confused3

Didn't weigh yet, heading now to shower. BBL with my numbers.
