DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

Good morning Peeps!

As expected, the scale went up this morning +1.8. But I had prepared myself for that and wasn't surprised. And the gain isn't too bad. And I'm back on track. I'm also starting a new gym regimen on Monday, so that should help too. I'm looking forward to it.

So I have a question - how do you all get your water in every day? I have a tough time getting all 8 glasses (and then some, if it's a gym day) in. I have to have my water very cold and after a while it gives me a belly ache. (And need for a catheter...or a move of my desk into the handicap stall in the Ladies Room!)

I do try to get at least those 3-4 glasses of water in, but try to drink non-caffeinated, no-sugar beverages for the other 4-5 glasses.

I drink Crystal Lite, but find that gets old pretty quickly. I limit myself to one glass of reduced-sugar juice a day.

Right now I'm on an herbal tea kick. They're all decaf white teas in a ton of different flavors - the Twining's Straberry Mango I bought in Epcot a couple of trips back is my favorite. It's such a treat (and free!), especially now that the New England winter is in sight. (Shoo! Shoo! Go away winter!) I just don't know what else to try if this gets old too.

Any ideas would be great! Thanks!

Well...I am the queen of water.at least at my work anyway..There is always a 32 oz Nalgene bottle filled with the good stuff on my desk. What I do every morning is fill 2 ( sometimes 3 if i am going to Curves right after work) bottles with a ton of ice and water at home and stick them in the fridge at work so they do stay cold for me. I make sure that I finish them both by the end of the day..there is my 64 ozs. I def. drink more than that on most days though. But at least the amount is measured right there for me so I dont' have to think " did i have enough water today?"..i do love water, so its not a big deal for me...thankfully!
I love tea as well! I am addicted to Celestial Seasonings, I toured the plant a couple summers ago in CO and ever since I can't get enough..and like you said, old man winter will be here in New England before you know it, and its a great no calorie warmer..unlike hot chocolate..my FAVORITE..mmmm.
 
i'm not weighing in yet. i have the feeling i'll have luck on the potty (did i just say that.....really?) so i'm gonna wait.

...Tell Ray I watched Transformers last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd love to have Bumblebee and Optimus Prime living at my house!

i can still see your head AND your glowing martini!!! makes me want one....only made differently without whatever it is in that thing that's so sweet!

i'm off to get my oil changed, lay in the tanning bed, go by the bank, then to drop the doggies off at their grandma's house. then i come home and pack up the car to go to the beach for anna's wedding. ROAD TRIP!!!!!! :woohoo: i love trips where it's not all interstate and you're not in a rush. we stay on I-85 through georgia and into alabama to montgomery, but then we get off on back roads for the rest of the way. don't we have some alabama peeps? allie? robin? or am i just imagining that. i'll wave to you as we go by!!!

We watched Transformers the other night and thought that it was great. It was a little long, but a good movie. I fell in love with Bumblebee.

Forgot to post my weigh in -1 pound Last night it was a -2 but this morning the scale did not say that-I will go by what it said this morning.
 
Well, after two months of taking one step forward and two (or three) steps back, I think I'm starting to get back on track after I lost 1.6 pounds this week. This matches my lowest weight of 180.8 that I first reached on August 24, with a grand total of 35.2 pounds lost since the start of the year and an uber-grand total of 59.2 pounds lost since April 2005. I am now 5.8 pounds away from my Thanksgiving Day goal of 175, and 25.8 pounds away from my ultimate goal weight of 155.

I think the most frustrating thing for me in looking back at my weight history, is just how quickly I can fall off the wagon and start putting the weight back on. As I said before, I first reached this weight at the end of August. And here we are almost two months later and I am just now taking the weight off again. When I think of all of the months I have spent the past 2.5 years doing just enough to not gain or gain just a little, it really disappoints me that I didn't do just a little extra or eat just a little less to turn those "stay-the-sames" into even a small loss. Those little losses would have added up, and who knows where I'd be now. Even 1/2 pound losses for those seven weeks would put me 3.5 pounds lower than I am now. But as Pumba once said "you've gotta put your behind in the past" and just move on and strive to do better in the future.

Well I am +1.4:sad1: , but that isn't too bad considering I had gained everything back (plus some) when I went to the beach. I am back on track and should have pretty numbers next week. :thumbsup2

Oh, and here is my list of three favorite healthy foods:

1. Propel packets for my water. It makes drinking all that water much easier.

2. Fiber One bars. They are good to satisfy my need for a candy bar, plus they have 35% of your daily fiber. :thumbsup2

3. YO+ Vanilla yogurt. It tastes good, and has fiber too. (do you see a theme here?) ;) :rotfl:
 
Ok, this may get confusing so bear with me. Technically, I am up 1.5 lbs from that last official Peep weigh in for me 2 weeks ago. But I actually lost 1.5 of the 3 lbs I gained last week during food fest 2007. But I guess technically I'm a gainer...+1.5 lbs.

Ok, so I'm actually posting my weight :scared1: I'm at 195.5 right now. By Thanksgiving I would have loved to be at 185, but that is over 10 lbs. So Aaron - my updated Turkey day goal is to be at 188 or a loss of 7.5 lbs by Thanksgiving morning! :thumbsup2

I loaded up on portion controlled packets of Oatmeal, BUT can easily eat 2, and do! 1 packet barely covers the very bottom of a cereal bowl. And I figure if I only eat one, I'll be HUNGRY in an hour and possibly cheat, so 2 works "grape" till lunch. So I feel like that isn't an excuse, but a wise choice.

I'm proud of myself lately! I feel very blessed to have y'all as friends!

I have loved that show since it started! I can't wait for the Halloween special. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my roughest days of work (usually) so I actually think about just making it to Wednesday so I can watch ghost hunters. I secretly have a crush on Grant and Steve :blush:

Years ago I hated drinking water, but it grew on me and now, it's practically all that I drink. I remember making sure it was cold. I never added anything to it. It defeated the purpose or drinking "water". So, for me it's was a head game. Which is how I deal with weight loss too.:rolleyes1

It's been 27 hours since I last nursed. I'm relieved, and sad at the same time. Not to mention in PAIN!!!!

Madelyn has totally adjusted like a pro. I couldn't ask for a better baby.:angel: I have her crib pushed up to mine with that rail off, so our beds meet. I don't have to get up to deal with her which helps with me getting more sleep, and her. Well anyways I put her in her crib and when we woke up at 2am she was right next to me. She moved about my arms length over. Just scooted her way over to me. I was really surprised!

I'm gonna wait until the first week of November to start the "diet" (another head game) so I can get through the tempations of Halloween without sabotaging the start of my diet. So watch out! I'm coming back and I'll be setting up challenges and cheering everyone on! Are you ready!?

I'm here UM. Just lurking and checking things out. I have been totally busy since I gave up the daycare and started my new job. I love my job but it has thrown my scheduled life into upheavel. On the plus side I have lost 10 lbs since I started.
 
OK, not quite sure how to post my weigh in. :confused3 This is the problem with not weighing in. Oh well. Here's the deal...I weighed in right before we left for WDW at 217.?, and I came back from WDW weighing 230.?. :scared1: But I haven't weighed in here since before we left. Now I am at 224.2, so I am up 7 lbs from before WDW, but I am down about 6 lbs from when we returned. Maybe I should just post this as a new starting point. Wendy, if you want to count me in the total, it looks like I gained 13 lbs at WDW, but took 6 of it off in the past week and a half. Or you can just not count me this week, and next week I'll have a refular +/- number (- of course! ;) ). Whatever you want to do is fine by me.

I have 'On The Go' packets in my drawer at work. I use Celestial Seasonings (peach green tea), Lipton (honey lemon green tea and raspberry white tea), Crystal Lite (cherry pomegranate), and Vita Splash (raspberry lemonade for fiber). Those are some of my favorites anyway. I don't usually have two of the same thing on any given day. I mix it up. And I drink part of my water plain as well. Sometimes I prefer it that way, but if I am having trouble getting it down, I use packets. I also always order water when we go out to eat, even if I'm getting soda too. And I make myself finish the water before I finish my soda.

OK Melinda...Here at work, your Siggie pic is HUGE and I can see up to your nose! However, at home, it was a small pic...this is sooooo weird! :confused: You would think it would be the same on every computer! Oh well!

I am a samer this week. I was hoping for a loss, but I am just not doing well. Bummer. I need a loss next week to get my 5lbs off by Thanksgiving. However, since I'll be in Disney AND on the Cruise, I am doubtful that it will happen. :confused3

Hmmmmm, I think I've not been doing gains at all so even if you gain 10 pounds one week and the next week you lose 9, I still put -9. It doesn't make much sense even to me. When all is said and done, EACH person's total weight loss since the beginning of this thread will be what counts, I think. Because technically I've lost like 50 pounds all together...but only 4.8 total keepers. (Geez, I am such a LOSER!)

i have not been able to eat sweets (:sad1: and everything i can eat is soft and easy to chew(so mostly soup and bread )that is my weight loss secret:laughing: so my total weight is almost 40 pds so far . i would put my ribbon on but am afraid too because of the siggie police, :confused3
well today is the day i have alot to pack and load into the car once DH gets back from work . i had to take him to work this morning so he could go pick up the rental van and i am exhausted my kids are still asleep so i am gonna take a power nap be back later. have a skinny day,:goodvibes

I am about 90 pounds under this "Before" picture and 40 pounds above this "after" picture. I got pregnant with Norah and gained the 40 pounds I've been stuck at for 3 years.

THIS needs to go on my fridge!

about 294lbs. and 160 lbs. I think I only weighed 160 for 5 minutes though! Those shorts are sized 28/30 and 9/10!!!!! My shoes shrank a whole size too- fat toes and heels!


This is at My old house which is Misty's house now...I love that house!
