:scared1: We only stayed 7 nights but it only cost $2,000. I hope you're including airfare in the 12K.
yeah that was everything, including a few souvenirs. this year should only be about $10,000 as we have free dining although I think we will be hitting the shops a bit more this time if the exchange rate stays so good, £1 to $2 is great for us as most stuff is the same price in $ as it is here in £ so it's half price. :cool1: DD's are already deciding what Nintendo DS they want! They always ask for $ for there birthdays before the trip and last time had about $300 each. :eek:
 
Question

Has there been an "official" tally on this week's weight loss? I may have over looked it.

Additionally.
Each week I'm setting a goal for the number of sit-ups that I do and the following week I'm going to try to beat my goal.
Last week (ending on Thurs.) I had done 215.
So far this week: 80

Have fun chatting and don't get to carried away. :rotfl2: Just kidding. However, it does seem that when I'm logged off for a couple of hours and come back there is 5 pages to go through.

By the way, are there any NASCAR fans out there?:car:
We are having some family over tonight to watch the Shoot-Out and I'm going to behave really well. In fact, I've fixed a low-calorie vegetable soup for us. And of course, they (meaning everyone but me) will have their usual snacks.

I walked 2 miles on Thurs. night and it was very cold. Good for you guys getting up and moving :banana:

pigget Where do you go to walk. Do you walk around your neighborhood or do you go to a track somewhere? I need to get moving more and I just get bored walking on the treadmill .. I was just wondering if there is a walking track here.
 

Wonders sounds good to me! I am not picky as to where I sleep as long as I don't hear snoring! DH chips the paint off the walls here nightly!

My2boysetc we need a situp smiley:worship: Have you tried the exercise ball? Its really worth it!! Then you can add 5 or 10# weights to your sit ups, and you can sit up and reach with the weights! Side to side!!

Now sit up... lay on your back, reach up and pull your knees to your chest - ok? So you now have a seat with your feet suspended in air (easier done than said, think of sitting on a chair, but the chair is laying flat on hte ground... so slowly pull your knees in and reach up with your chest to meet those knees... got it? THIS IS THE TOUGHEST SIT UPS!! but your abs will thank you - aim for 2 sets of 8 to start with!!

DONT JUST SIT THERE - TRY it I say, TRY!!! UP UP UP!!

I'd vote for any and all... altho to have Smee and Hook, and not DD does seem ... sinful!! We did a Wishes Cruise one year (pixie dusted!!) It was AWESOME!! The Illuminations Cruise... I dont get, they cant drive, you sit in the bridge area, but if we're a Grand Gathering, that'd be different... can we bring wine???

I'd love to do the Safari, but I see its expensive, but dh and I would be down with that!!

I got a DVD on "THE BALL" (dont know the title) which I will try today after I work on my Sunday School lesson for tomarrow. I'm baking bread for my treat :rolleyes: that will smelly up my whole house with carb-goodness. The bread is a related treat, because I'm reading a portion of The Little Red Hen.

The exercise ball isn't too hard balance-wise. I lock my feet under the gap in the sofa. It helps.

I can only speak for myself,so yes it was hard.Dragonfly and I walked together and jogged some(downhill:) and we really pushed ourselves.We finished in 39.52 min.I am looking forward to doing it again and improving,not so much my time but to be able to do it without it being so hard.It might would help if I found a shorter walking partner.:rolleyes1

I am another who hasn't exercise in about 10 days so I got back on the treadmill today after seeing I'm gaining weight already. I need to even this out. So I got in 50 minutes. It's a great way to study flashcards.

I'm already wearing some maternity stuff. I've popped out early and it's all up high. That's unusual for me.

Ps. I am jealous of this 5K meet. I'd be so there if it wasn't for the baby.
I was doing so good running and stuff before all of this. I was doing 3 miles under 40 mins. Sometimes by 36 minutes.

Promise me there'll be another.

I hope I can wait to show until about April. Who knows since I had one not to long ago. I am just 4.5 weeks so we will see.

It starts and finishes in Epcot, they say the worst part is the end when you have to run thru Epcot's World Showcase - its before it opens, so no one there to cheer you when you need it most - that's why dh is planning on running by my side... (yep, "awwwww" I do love him!!)

I think I read the race begins around 8am - goes out Epcot down that one road over to MK (am I sure I want to do this???!! :scared1: )

and hills???

Son is on VMK I got him to stop for a minute--I will post all around 7.

I walk around the lower elementary parking lot. If you go the entire way around the playground and towards the classrooms and make a loop it is .5 miles. They also have a walking track there. On Tuesday and Thurs. DD has soccer practice and each time around the area is a mile. Wesley Hospital also has a walking track. Would love to have a walking buddy.

I will have to do my 25 minutes after DH gets home, I think. Puppy is sleeping, and I don't want to wake the evil. :rotfl: Actually, I am just enjoying the QUIET I have going on right now. The only noise I can hear is the sound of my fingers on the keyboard of my laptop. WOW! I will report later what my 25 minutes are though!

Glad to hear the prodding is working. I know that's what I need sometimes, and since we were both struggling, I thought It's worth a try! I, myself, prefer firm, but gentle, friendly prodding. :laughing: I don't respond to judge-y prodding, which is what DH dished out a touch of the other night. I don't think it was intented that way, but his tone was very "disappointed". I truly think he was just trying to inspire me to do something. I just didn't respond to his method. Anywho, he just called to say he's on his way home (woke the fur up, had to let puppy out & feed both kitty and puppy), and he asked what we were doing tonight. I said I didn't know, but I had to do 25 minutes of something - exercise. He said, "Oh, Utahmama?" :rotfl:

Wow! I just tried and what a work out. I don't know if I can reach last week's goal doing those situps. :rotfl: I will definetly tie those situps in with my regular ones. Also, I am thinking of buying an exercise ball.

I wish you could have seen me. I was trying to read your instructions and perform the task at the same time, which considering I was laying on the floor, was a very hard thing to do. It took me a few minutes to control my laughter. As a matter-of-fact this is kinda what I looked like:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
