AWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have probably eaten at Tony's in MK. Loved all the Lady and the Tramp pictures and the fountain in there when I went in May.

WW weigh-in tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed for me!

HiYa Minnie!!! One day at a time, and if that number isnt what you were looking for, then do NOT STRESS - one day at a time, start writing!!

I think I missed something somewhere along the way...where did the green wigs or whatever come in to play? :tilt:

Well, I knew the answer, but since Pixie came in and gave the scoop.. :rolleyes1 I think it was Cynderrellas Trip Report that I discovered the Secret Green Clubbers... I checked out the thread, but didnt seem to "fit" my needs... but I loved the group on the Trip Report threads!!! (very addicting that!!)

I wouldnt be comfortable running in a green wig... I did check out the Wish Competition forum, and read the FAQ's, the WISH board did put up Tshirts that were awesome - I would have to say I would want one of those "wicking" type slick shirts... I'm just feeling really low right now... I see this light beckoning me to do it, do it... then when I really get serious about the exercise, and do my 1 - 3 mile walks... my shins hurt, my plantar fasciahchia pains me.. and right now, I'm ready to give up!! It is helping looking at the scale, I came home from Chicago (remember the stick and a half of butter I ate, otherwise known as cheesecake!! :scared1: ) up 3#, and today, I'm down those 3# (what a wacky scale huh?!!)

2nd graders today... I hope no one cries!! They are exhausting!

OK note to self...never dye hair night before interview!!!
OMG....that sounds just like something I would do!!! I have to set the timer for everything!!! So sorry about the hair but your hair is dark so I'm sure it's fine. I let DF "highlight" my hair once and ended up with an orange/gold streak right down the front of my hair!!! That was a hair color disaster that took a year or so to work out!

Brigitte....you are an inspiration. We all need to be our own best friends!

 and prayers for job interview today!!

 and prayer for surgery tomorrow!!!

REMINDER:

TAKE DOWN YOUR HOGS AND PUT UP YOUR HEARTS.

Like aldisney posted, I hope you dont, I do so enjoy reading it - and BORG the books I've been reading are using it, so now when I read whilst I think of PeepJo!!
Thanks I feel so loved  Could somebody clever scan the book when it's done so that I could have a look at how creative you all are!

What's going on in your part of the world at the moment everyone seems to be ill? Sending some :grouphug: and pixiedust: to those who need some.

Eeyore hope you don't mind I pinched your snow globe it's so cute and your instructions were very easy to follow. :thumbsup2

My hoover just decided to pack up, so I can't do my cleaning now  but I can remember you all loving the purple Dyson is it the animal DC14? And is it really great? It's nearly $500 to buy over here bet it's loads cheaper there! Why is every thing so pricey here?

Before I have to head out for the day. DD woke up EARLY and is insisting she is all better. Her fever is just barely high now though and that makes me feel better about leaving her with DH all day. Lord knows if he would have been able to handle it if she wasnt better:laughing:

I dont have time to respond to everyone just now, but this is such a fantastic thought Fidge:
Todays motivation: Would I let a friend say the negative things I say to myslef to herself! I need to act like my own best friend!
It is so true, and I need to start remembering that myself.

I have had 2 pretty off the wagon days (yesterday being the worst of it, stress eating=too many cookies...but my sick baby wanted them and I cant resisit fresh out of the oven cookies!) and I woke up feeling like poo because of it. Funny how eating crap makes you feel like crap, huh?! Anyways, back on it today....hoping for the best.

Have a good day everyone!

Nope, the Dyson is that expensive here, too! But, it's worth it! :thumbsup2 There is a new model out now, I think it's the DC17. You might want to look at that one, too.

GOOD MORNING PEEPS!!! :sunny:

CAST OFF/CAST ON....
They sawed the stinky cast off DS yesterday, x-rayed, and found out the break is not completely healed and put a new cast on. At least it's clean!?! :) And I did ask for a few minutes to wash thoroughly before they put the new one on. ;)

DD was x-rayed at the same time and although the x-ray didn't show a break, Dr. suspects its hairline and will show up soon. She has to wear a brace (wrist) and come back for more x-rays in 2 weeks. Thanks for your kind words...

Temp in 5 degrees here this morning with -2 wind chill. Two to five inches of snow due in tonight starting around dark. Please let there be school tomorrow, please let there be school tomorrow............
GOOD! No cast! It's kinda fun for kids that age to walk around a crutches for a few days. She'll probably enjoy that! :)
Sorry!!! Feel better soon, Allie! and everyone else who feels bad and has gunk in their heads.....
Way to chime in there, Jeanne! Where ya been???

HANG IN THERE TODAY....EAT RIGHT....EXERCISE....YOU'LL FEEL SO MUCH BETTER FOR IT. AND WE WANT TO BE SMOKIN' HOT WHEN SWIM SUIT SEASON ROLLS AROUND, DON'T WE????

HAVE A GREAT DAY PEEPS!!!

Sorry he had to get another cast, but glad that your daughter only needed the brace.

Thanks for the well wishes from you and everyone else. I have to say the NyQuil did its job last night. I feel a lot better this morning, but I have to help in the two year old class today. My hands will be raw from all the hand washing I will be doing. Potty, wash, lotion, potty, wash, lotion....that will be my day! ;) :rotfl:

Here for a giggle for the day.... I dyed my hair last night with new shade, DS asked me to come and read and got lost and forgot about the dye! OMG I have red on the top I can't believe it! DS and DH say it doesn't look bad OMG and I have interviews can you believe it?? SOrry need to reschedule my interview you see I left my hair dye on to long!!!

OK note to self...never dye hair night before interview!!!

Can you wear a hat? Maybe that might help cover it up.:confused3 That is why I have been so scared to color my own hair. I think I would end up looking like Bozo. :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Good luck with the interview. Sending you some pixiedust: for the interview and the surgery. What kind of surgery are you having? I will pray that everything goes well for you today and tomorrow.

2nd graders today... I hope no one cries!! They are exhausting!

I'm with ya', I have the two year olds today. I hope I don't get anymore yucky germs. :sad2:

I have another question. I still don't have a photobucket account. Is it going to put anything crazy on my computer? I have downloaded things before and they made my computer crazy.:sad2: DH is picky about what I put on the computer. I don't want it to take up a lot of space either. Once I get it, I will snatch up that purty snowglobe.

No, it is the same price here. I am shopping for one too. I am just trying to decide which one is the best.

Morning Peeps! I've said it before, and it bears repeating...
YOU ALL ARE JUST THE BEST!

Tears were welling up as I read your replies. Thank you! No worries - I'm not going anywhere - I just won't be all that on top of things for a while. of course, if and when I ever finish my TR, that might free up some time, no?! :rolleyes1

Bee - I know you can do it, and what's more, I know YOU know you can do it! I'll be here cheering you all the way :cheer2:

I do have to comment on one thing I saw though from Princess V-

I am in a very similar place V. I came from that background and even when I was thin, there was always somebody thinner or some teacher pointing out ways my body still needed to change. In fact, as a Dance Major we had to weigh and measure body fat each month. They posted the results (by # so it was somewhat anonymous) but everyone could compare their # to everyone elses. Very unhealthy way to live. And you couldnt advance to the higher levels in the ballet technique classes or graduate unless your body fat was in their 'range' they wanted. I still struggle somewhat with leftover body image issues from that time in my life and it sucks. So, just know I feel for you. It is hard to get past that feeling when it was such a huge part of your life for so long, you know?
Thanks so much for saying this - it's a tough thing to explain, but every former dancer I've talked to knows exactly what I'm talking about! I can't believe what you went through - crazy! My ballet school's Directress was a former NYCB dancer under Mr. Balanchine, so I grew up with the idea that ALL dancers had to be rail-thin and 5'7". She didn't tell us to lose weight per se, but she'd tap that stupid dowel on a belly and tell you to "Suck it in girls!" I do remember dancing with a visiting NY company once and asking some of the adult dancers how they stayed so thin. Their answer: "We don't eat anything other than broth on performance days and smoke to suppress our appetites." I think it was shortly after that that I started to lose interest...

For anyone with a dancing child, just know that, even without reinforcement from a teacher, a huge part of dancing is looking in a mirror. And seeing others in a mirror, which often leads to body comparisons. Help your kids to know what is and is not okay in the pursuit of body "perfection". And, for you, know that sometimes it really does become a choice between having that career or being healthy.

Here's to being healthy! And, since you all keep me accountable, I'm happy to report 30 minutes on the TM last night :yay:

Ok, I am not good at responding to everyone individually. Know that I am praying for those that need prayers. I am hoping for the best with the interviews.

For those that are being funny or witty, I am laughing along with you!

Ok, so I had my first slimfast meal. I had a choclate slimfast with a banana.

I dediced this is going to be the best for me. Cause, then I can stay away from food. I cant eat in moderation. I am sick. Once several years ago I was on a medically supervised diet called medifast. I got 3 shakes a day, a salad and 8 oz of meat. I lost 50 lbs in like 4 months. I need to do this for myself. I think the reason it worked is because I didnt have to eat. Ok, so this is my plan, I will do this shake thing to lose more quickly then I will be able to contol better and slowly wean in foods again, and monitor closely.

I am SICK and I have to do this for myself. I CANT live this way anymore. When I say this next thing. I view this like someone who has to take medicine to stay alive. Like chemo, or things that make people sick to get better. If I dont lose weight it will kill me. So, I have to drink these shakes to lose weight. It is not something I will enjoy doing but I have to do it. I quit smoking I can lose weight!! I am not minimizing the fact that many people are ill, it is just my analogy.

Ok, I love all y'all Really I do!!

I want to walk in the Peep Meet and right now I can barely walk a block w/o being out of breath and sick. Back hurting. I am FAT!!

I want to be SLIM!!

:grouphug: thanks in advance!!

Oh, and re: kids' fevers... my DS's ped. said not to worry overmuch until it hits 104+ - kids just tend to run high. She also advised using Ibuprofren (Motrin) as it's better at lowering temps than Tylenol. Always works like a charm for me.

Good Morning all and Happy Tuesday!!! SO sorry for everyone under the weather this cold is really getting the better of alot of kids and grown ups too! WE have a 2 hour delay due to the cold. I will take it!

SO I have been really watching my food and exercised for 1 hour last night and was shocked I did not lose 15 lbsw this am, but thats ok. Baby steps!!!!I have 2 interviews this week, as I learned we willb e paying in taxes this year..not happy! God save the queen I live in a commonweatlh and I think I just boought her majesty a new ugly dress!!!

If I don't find a 2nd job we will not be going in April sad fact but its reality..I don't appreciate reality much. DS is bummed about 2nd job he doesn't knwo about DIsney and just doesn't like Mama off to work. Its neat that he isn't happy about it I must tell you!

My goal is to get under 200 on my scale this week! I am starting at 204 and really wnat to work my tail feather off! Dene is my hero! That girl sure exercises alot! God BLess. I fell off the bike and wanted to go lay down in bed!

Todays motivation: Would I let a friend say the negative things I say to myslef to herself! I need to act like my own best friend!

Good luck with your fasting and your surgery. Let us know how everything goes! Man I'm glad I'm not you this week!

I was just getting ready to respond to Bee when I heard the vacuum cleaner start. I went to see who was using the vacuum and it was my 3 year old son. He is so funny.:rotfl: To think, my kid is doing my housework so that I can sit on the computer. :rotfl2:

Bee, you can do it and we're here to support you any way that we possibly can.

I have the Dyson and yup it's super expensive here too. We got ours last summer and I think it was about $500!

Winter is sicktime in the US. Weather can be very unpredictable here!

My kids all took ballet. My oldest took it for about 8 or 9 years. We are only an hour and a half from NYC so every year we would perform the nutcracker with guest dances from NYC, often the New York City Ballet, you're right they smoke like fiends!!!!

Our dance mistress was incredibly strict. She has been, and contiues to be a guest dance mistress for ballet companies worldwide, some of them world renowned. One thing I will give her credit for....when all of the anorexia and bolemia became an issue she covered up all of the mirrors in the studio! Very rarely are they uncovered!

Can you Pm your kid to me? I'll Pm him back after about a week or so!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ultra sound went, well, it went. They had problems measuring the heart rate cause the baby was so active, so they did a Trans vag one. Oy! That was the most uncomfortable experience as a whole.

The baby is doing great. At my next apt in March we'll see if the due date is different, but I'm guessing we are right on. Tomorrow I'll be 11 weeks.

At one point we were looking at the image of the baby on the screen and it looked like it was waving to us.

It's like this whole thing is finally validated.

I put this on the mailing thread by accident. I wanted to post this here.

You are soooo funny!!!! If we could do that I would get in line riight behind Pixie!!!

Let me tell you, He Is Something Else! I just bought a new smoothie, milkshake blender and he absolutely loves it. He tells everyone that when he grows up he's going to get one of "those". :rotfl: I'm going to write down that remark and when he gets married (hopefully not for about 25 years), I'm going to show everyone so that each can buy him a blender. :lmao:
