Wow, ya'll are a busy bunch of peeps. I just tried to skim thru all of the pages I missed over the weekend and today and you guys are just so funny.

Stacey - both of my boy's b'day's are in May 1st and 16th. We have a lot in common. the story about your DH was funny.. I bet not too funny at the time but at least you can laugh about it now. I hope everthing is ok at the dr today and that your dr can help you with your hip. I know that kind of pain can be very frustrating especially when the Doctors cant just fix it.

everyone - hope you are having a skinny minnie day.

Hey all, I've been playing around with my profile, go have a look! Off to bed now, night Peeps.

Are the whole oats like oatmeal or something else? These sound yummy!

Yep just the plain oatmeal you use to make oatmeal with, we use Quaker Oats, either the fast 1 minute box, or the slow cook - the slow cook has bigger oats than the 1 minute kind -

oh, forgot... :rotfl2: at all the planners - my favorite cousinmore like my sister, she has 4 boys, 3 have birthdays the same week of DECEMBER!!! I thought, wow, what a coincidence, she replied, "well, sorta seeings how are anniversary is in March" oh.. duh!!! :rotfl2:

My DS figured out we have the best schedule, we celebrate a birthday every other month!! me Feb, DS April, DH june, DS August, DD Oct, and Jesus Dec!!! and we didnt even plan it that way!!!

Hey all, I've been playing around with my profile, go have a look! Off to bed now, night Peeps.

I looked! WOW! It looks like we have this whole "my Space" thing going on! Probably safer and "cleaner". Looks so complicated, I'm overwelmed!

Since I've been working on this post for about a half hour, there are prolly 3 more pages to read now. But here's what I've got so far........

OMG you guys write alot whilst I'm asleep, it's taken me ages to catch up!
I'll second that! They've been posting whilst I was at work, Jo! I like the rules about English school lunches. Would seem to take the pressure off the parents. We need those rules too. No crisps!
I know that I just said I am very stressed at school this semester but I have actually had this bakery/cafe idea in my head for a few months now so I don't believe that it is just me running away from school. Thanks in advance peeps!
I hate to sound like your mother although I'm sure I'm old enough to be your mother. Finish school. You've committed to it and you need to see it through. Once you start work, you will have a chance to do cookie catering on the side. If both jobs get to be too much, then you can decide. That's just my opinion. ;)
I thought that you were reffering to your jublies at first! I about peed myself!
Unfortunately those would be my AAs not my DDs. :sad2:
I still laugh at the visual of the look of shock on the poor Ultra sound Tec's face! She was just standing there not sure what to do with her BOB. :rotfl2:
Been there, honey! It's when she put the enormous "rubber" thing the Big Bob and he looked "ready for action" that I started to get worried.:scared:
Is there room for one more? My name is Beth and I am losing weight prior to my October trip with DH for our 5th Anniversary. My goal is 45 lbs.
:welcome: BETH!!!
Sounds like you've got a plan! Get comfy make yourself at home!
DH took me to "Disney on Ice" on Sat night! It was wonderful!!! We had sooo much fun!!!
Hi, Gayle!!! They are advertising Disney on Ice here! DS says he wants to take me for my birthday.
Uggg, My parents scooped out my meals portions and I had to "clean my plate"!!!!
DH was forced to sit at the table til his plate was clean at his dad's house when he was a kid. One night they had liver and onions so he was sitting after the adults got up. His sister finally decided to take a bite. She smiled at him with liver on her teeth and he puked all over the table. :lmao: Needless to say our kids have never been forced to finish.

Good Moning all. I have been up since the crack of Bob too today...not sure why. DD is still asleep, so there is no reason to be awake! And yes, it is almost 10 where I live (TX) and she is still asleep. I am blessed to have a child that likes to sleep in.

I am going to go back and read the bios, thanks for the page number! I am reading backwards to try to catch up, so I will go check them out and post one of my own. And yes, the numbers do mean something...My birthday was 2/28/74, so I just used the 28 and 74. I have the same screen name at just about every site I use. My memory is nonexistant. I cant remember different names and passwords anymore!

Ok, so I have caught up some more and am ready to do a bio about me I guess! I have a tendency to ramble, so I hope this doesnt turn into a tv movie of the week.

My name is Jen. I live in the North Dallas area, in TX of course, and I am 32...for a few more weeks anyways. I have been married to my husband Joe for almost 6 years and we have one daughter, Amanda, who is 4. I currently am a SAHM but I do a few things part time. I am a nanny to a cute little newborn baby boy 3 days a week. (I have been a nanny for different families before this one, and I love working with kids) I also teach Dance (ballet and tap) to preschoolers in area daycares and preschools. I am an independant contractor of sorts for a company that has been doing that for over 35 yrs here. It is great because I pick where and when I want to teach, they find me the schools, and the parents dont have to take their kids anywhere because we do it at their schools. And I get to do something I really love. My DH is a 'used car salesman', but I promise he is not shady or sleazy ;) He is not a Disney person at all but I married him anyways, and after our trip in Sept he said he had had enough for a lifetime...yet I have almost conviced him it would be a great idea to return this fall. :cool1: I have always loved Disney but only went a once as a kid and once as an adult before this past fall.

Lets see...I grew up outside of Cleveland, OH and so did my DH. All of our family is still pretty much there with the exception of my mom and one of my sisters who are here in TX. After we had dated for about 2 yrs we decided we didnt want to be in OH forever so we literally picked a state we always wanted to go to and picked a city. Seriously. Thinking back, I felt like we were being brave...but had things gone badly we would have been quite stupid to move to a place where we had nobody! :rotfl: We picked LA, CA and were there for a yr before going to San Diego for 3 more years. Then we had our daughter and CA was too pricey...so we came to TX. At least we have some family here, the weather is much better than OH and it is cheaper to live which meant I could SAH. In CA I was working for a car dealership in the service dept. I worked about 50-60hrs per week and was a Service manager. It is quite laughable, because I knew very little about cars before starting that job...but being there for as long as I was I learned alot. The hours were nuts, and I couldnt stand the thought of leaving my daughter, so we had to make a change. It was hard to leave a place where I could drive to Disneyland in less than an hour though!

I went to school for Dance (thus the screen name!) but I never got to finish. I was in a car accident in my 2nd year where I was hit by a semi truck. :scared1: It was scary but I was ok...except for my back and neck. I had to take almost a yr off school because of my major being so physical (I danced close to 8hrs a day)and I never returned.:sad2: Life got in the way and I hope to return to finish at some point. I have pretty much always struggled with weight since I was a teenager. When I was younger I couldnt gain weight. And then my older sister, who was always heavy, put a curse on me. :wizard: I used to eat all day, mostly junk and never gained a pound. Then one day I remember her saying to me once, "One of these days this eating is gonna catch up to you and I am gonna be there laughing when it does!" Arent sisters sweet ? ;) It started to catch up to me in high school and it has been a battle ever since. When I had to stop dancing it really hit me. I thought I was heavy in HS. God I WISH I was that 'heavy' now! The good thing I guess is that people tell me I dont look heavy. But, I know what the scale says, and it is not pretty or healthy. According to 'the charts' I can lose about 70-80 pounds and still be at the high side of my weight range.

Other than that, I love to watch cheesy girly movies and my Tivoed guilty pleasures- General Hospital which I have watched ever since I can remember, and pretty much anything else that is cheesy. I love watching HGTV and those kinds of things, and dream about what I wish I could do. Mission Organization is my latest favorite. I wish I could do what they do to my house. I fear it is a mission impossible however. I also love to scrapbook, when I can find the time, but mostly I love shopping for the supplies. Who am I kidding,I like shopping for just about anything. If only I had the money to support my habit.

Ok, now for the pictures. I have never posted one in a post before, so here goes nothing! The first one is from a yr ago, but it is one I like. Notice the strategic placement of the child to hide my huge fatness, and the laying down to squash my tummy and my DDD's- I like to call them 'the twins'. The second one is from Sept.

Hope that worked!

I am STILL catching up! But I just HAD to tell our newbie here that I was born 1/4/74, so we are about a month apart in age, AND my DH is a finance manager at a car dealership. I just thought that was interesting. :)

I'll check back later after I catch up and after puppy class tonight. Wish me luck all. We are attempting to pass that Canine Good Citizen test tonight. We have another week or two to do it, but we are trying to test out early. I hope it works, but I guess it's not the end of the world if it doesn't. :)

i am being very bad tonight as far as food wise i had a very rough day after my kids got outta school so DH is picking up Chinese food from SAMPAN. i had an encounter where a not so nice lady's(and that is being very generous) son pushed my DS9 out in the street in front of a car . i am not a confratational person so it was hard for me and Darling Utahmama was gonna eat something just because she loves me and my kids enough and was worried for me (i love you Utahmama)now that is a friend...:lovestruc :worship: i could not pass up Dh offer i am just to tired to cook. i will work harder at the gym tommorow...

Time to post. It is so easy to post when I have been on the wagon all day.

b-ww chocolate smoothie with banana (4pts)
s- everything pretzel chips. (SO good and found them at Costco-3pts)
s-Pooh muffin (1pt)
l-south beach turkey wraps w/jello (5pts)
d-southwest chicken and rice- campbells box mix (6pts) with HUGE salad (0pts) and dinner roll (3pts)
dessert-Pooh muffin w/cool whip (2pts) The cool whip is pretty good on it, especially if you warm the muffin first. Helps disguise the texture...did I make them wrong are are they sort of lumpy and a bit chewy?
I drank over 64 oz of water so far..and still drinking.

I earned extra points today for exercise but I am out of time and not hungry...so I will actually not eat them for a change. :cool1: I also got all my fruits/vegetables in. It is a miracle. I went all day without being hungry for the first time in a long time.

And another food find for you, in case you didnt know this already. Walden Farms makes a line of salad dressings (and other things) that are 0 calories and 0 fat. What they HAVE in them, I cant say for sure but they are GOOD. I have tried the creamy bacon ranch and the french so far. The ranch was fantastic, the french was ok. Certainly good for ZERO calories. They make jelly and dips too.

Do ya'll play Magic the Gathering?

Yes and yes, we play both. Our kids like to play as well. DH was in a group that met every weekend but he hasn't gone in about 2 mos. We were part of a group that WotC organized and we'd go into stores and demo the games. We had a lot of fun and got lots of neat stuff to play with.

I had an ok day today. I did really well until this afternoon. DH wanted to go to Skyline Chili and then when I got home I was cranky about working on a work project and after a while, DH brought me a WW ice cream bar. I suppose I went over my pts today by 5-8...not horrible but I try as much as poss to stay at 20.

Stacy~ I hope things are going ok today. I have hip pain too so I know it gets so uncomfortable.

Eeyore/Sandy~ Yes, the smilies are moving, you're not going :joker:

Spongie/Misty~ Have the chinese.... I wish there was a fist shaking smilie for that woman..... why can't parents own up to having children who misbehave??

Thanks ladies for posting your rather embarassing stories. I know it wasn't funny at the time but now we can all laugh at them. I to had a v u/s when I was pg w/ DD #1. I saw the protection on the cart and thought it was odd. The tech said it fit and was really cheap.....

All right, every one have a good night. I have to try to get this project finished so it can be sent off on Thurs like it's supposed to be.

That is crazy! I am very non confrontational too, but I would have probably been very fired up over that. Want me to eat for you too? ;)

i am very upset and wish i could just poof her away ... :wizard:
if she was not in my neighborhood i would have not been so nice to her
