DISappearing Peeps...A fastpass to THIN! Part 2

I will have to go over there and look. We typically go during breaks. We have gone the first part of December and another time just after Thanksgiving. The most time I could miss is 2 days--unless I also called in sick--I can't do that. If i have enough notice I will not use my personal days one year and keep them for the next to make 4 days.

Andrew is in the 6th grade, Katie third. My friends joke with us because all my kids are born in September. When we announced we were going to have Joshua my DH mom looked at me and said "WOW you guys sure do have a very ritualisitc (sp?) December". I said, why yes we do enjoy the holidays. My friends always come up to DH in December and say--I know what you are getting. It does get old, but it is still funny. We have not decided if we are done--we were done at 2 and then little man came along. I would just have to make sure that it is in September as well--can't have anyone think they aren't special lol.

Both of mine are in May. I was teaching at the time, so May made sense! Within two weeks, we have two birthdays, our anniversary, and Mother's Day. Guess who gets the shaft? Wow that is a lot of September birthdays!

PEEPS - I need help. I am going to the store later. I want to make the cake and soda recipe. What kind of cake mixes do you guys get? Devils food or just any cake? And it is one box and one can, mix and bake, right? How about devil's food cake and diet cherry coke!?

Yep - you can pick any type of cake mix you like and simply mix it with a can of diet soda. Devil's food and diet cherry coke sound great. I'd put it in muffin tins and then you will have individual servings!

.

I forgot to say: Bee!!! You are so cute! You both look so young! Darn you! Grumpy!!!! You are a hoot!

Dan and Dawn are way funnier than me.. but, I love ya Wendy!!

Hi - she is beautiful and so is your other kids. My DD is 13 and is in JV gymnastics plus soccer. She is strong and fit but carries about 15 pounds extra around the middle. She hides it well - ask Bee - but in the mirror, in a swim suit, the truth hits her hard. She has the excersize portion down - just needs to cut back on the carbs.

I cannot believe you put this pic up! I look like a fat frog with a blond wig! Nothing says..."You need to lose weight" like a photo going out accross the world! Okay - that is a before one to remember...next year I will be a hottie!

Okay...hottie may be going to far...I'd settle for lukewarm lady!

To all in need of prayers and some dust...

You will be in my thought and wishes....I do have a funny story about my BOB from the hospital.

Dawn's daughter.. very pretty.. not fat/heavy.. But, she is a teenager. How many of us thought we were "fat" and would give anything to be that "fat" again?

We went shopping for clothes for my new job to a thrift store. Dawn tried to take my daughter to try on jeans and she was too "fat" as well.

Ok, the picture of us.. I think is a fine picture. However, you can clearly see my gray! (it is the lighter shade right next to my scalp:rotfl2: ) y'all need glasses.:confused3

Ok- Dawn the story you told... OMG I laughed out loud... Thank goodness I didnt meet your invisible DH yet.:lmao: I would have LAUGHED.

FIdge and other Peeps ALL ABOARD!!!
wagontrainview.jpg

Today is a new day. No guilt. It can be good, or bad, the CHOICE is up to you - make the CHOICE to be HEALTHY!!

I'm grabbing my sun bonnet and prairie dress and hopping onboard!

 I know exactly what you mean! No matter what size I have been - big, small-big, big-big, medium-big, my :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc never changed sizes and I've been stuck at practically junior high level since, well, junior high. Mine are more like :hyper: :hyper: I usually don't mind because then I'd probably have to go up another size in tops just to fit them in.

Oh that's funny! :lmao:

Hi - I HATE THIS COMPUTER...cause it wouldn't be the operator! ;)

So I wanted to copy the buggy's headin west....(Possibly East away from Utah Mamas mushroom cloud !) :rotfl2: But couldn't get it to go! So go back and look at that picture and you will see me.

Actually it is closest to the screen on the right bottom. See me? Blond...straps from our Dungeons and Dragons night....wide hind end! Somebody owes me royalties!

SO, I have a few product plugs for your shopping pleasure.....

I discovered a new ice cream, and it is 1/2 way healthy and tastes fantastic! It is Dreyers slow churned light, and the flavor is one of their new'american idol' flavors (dont laugh!) and it is called Takes the Cake. It tastes just like cake and ice cream. It even has sprinkles and frosting in it!! 1 serving is 120 calories and 3 WW points. It is pretty sweet too, so it really curbs my sweet tooth after dinner.

WW chocolate smoothies. I got it at my meeting- you can buy stuff at one of their locations even if you arent a member too. It was so good and kept me full until 1:00! I mixed it in the blender with milk and a banana for 4 points total. Tasted like a chocolate banana milkshake.

And to work off my new food finds:
I discovered an online service that will mail you a DVD each month with different workouts on it. www.push.tv
You get 2 strength training workouts and a cardio workout each month and it is different each month so you dont get bored. You can pick your trainers too, and change trainers each month if you choose to.. My trainer is Bob Harper from The Biggest Loser. I love him :goodvibes However, after just doing it today I may be hating him tomorrow. I am feeling some soreness already...so at least it works! I love that it is different all the time, and I can do it at home. It lasted about 40 minutes. My cardio trainer is some chick I never heard of but her bio looked like somebody I would want to take a class from. It is similar to pilates and about 40 min too.

Off to finally eat some lunch!

:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:
I;ve been lurking and trying to explain my sudden outbursts... ya'll are hysterical

marking my place...see ya later tonite!:hippie:

Dawn's daughter.. very pretty.. not fat/heavy.. But, she is a teenager. How many of us thought we were "fat" and would give anything to be that "fat" again?

 Me.... :flower3: Actually, I was told I was fat (by my parents)... I thought I was curvacious :hourglass

Hey ladies & gent!
I am WAY behind. I have about 10 more pages to read. I was busy most of the weekend working on my recipe journal, and I didn't get online until last night! But, I decided to go ahead and respond to a few things while I was thinking about it. Hope everyone had a great weekend and is having a skinny day! :) I'll check back in when I catch up.

Also, my totals for Saturday were...

B: yogurt smoothie & whole wheat english muffin w/reduced fat peanut butter (380)
L: half of a Quesadilla Explosion salad w/o quesadilla wedges at Chili's (about 600)
D: other half of Quesadilla Explosion salad & SMALL boneless, grilled pork chop (about 700)

TOTAL: 1680 calories & at least 64 oz. of water

No totals for Sunday, becuase it was cheat day! :)

Lynda! I think you look like the star of "Men In Trees", Anne Hache (Heche?) She is SO beautiful and adorable in that show (so is "McTreemy")I keep forgetting to tell you that!

Thank you. :) I have not seen that show yet, but I have seen commercials. Looks like a good show though. I just have a full schedule for TV - Heroes, Studio 60, American Idol, Lost, Grey's (my fave!), & Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (once football is over).

The answer=once. I have a fear/dislike of going in any public restroom. No can do. GOOD NEWS: Dannon Activa yogurt uses the same macrobiotics for regularity. Pick some up at the store. Lynda eats it almost everyday...I always see it on her list. LYNDA??? How many times per day??? If we're not being too personal?

Love your "buggy" and "holler" quotes. I'm from a small town and always used those. Sadly nobody here used those words so haven't heard them in a while. (have lived here 25 years.)Also "yonder" is one of my favorites. ;) Would love to hear you say it with the Carolina accent which I adore.

:rotfl: Thanks for noticing? HeeHee, well, yogurt is in my diet every day, but not always Activia. I have about 4-5 different kinds in the fridge at any given time so that I don't get too bored with one. I love yogurt - just need variety. So, I would say I have Activia at least 3-4 times a week. It's good. And to answer your question, I would say NORMALLY it's about 2-3 times a day. I was FAR from regular as a child, and that has improved, but I have to drink my water, eat my fiber, and I believe yogurt helps too. Right now, I am off because Aunt Flo finally arrived, but at least PMS is over. :rotfl:

I say holler and yonder too! And I am in Illinois and always have been. :rotfl:

Lynda - How did you like the coconut lemongrass chicken? Do I just have defective taste buds? :confused3 :rotfl:

I thought it was OK. Not fantastic, but OK. The lemon smell was a little overpowering though. I had moments when it smelled like I was eating lemon Pledge, which took away from the actual flavor, I must say. :rotfl:

 Me.... :flower3: Actually, I was told I was fat (by my parents)... I thought I was curvacious :hourglass

Yes, I had the "but you have such a pretty face".. talk all the time.

I have to watch myself, cause I am so afraid I am going to hurt my 10 yr old.. I am soooo worried she is gonna be like me.

Anyway, I love all y'all!!

Especially- Grumpy!!:love2:

I need to post now, or I'm going to be forgotten around here! :sad1:

DH took me to "Disney on Ice" on Sat night! It was wonderful!!! We had sooo much fun!!! As we were walking in, it seemed like we were the only one's there without kids! :rotfl2: But, I didn't care! I was having fun and enjoyed every moment! I now need to rent "Lilo & Stitch" as I've never seen it and that was the last story they did!

I'm crazy for the BBQ Chicken Pizza!

I love the Spinach & Mushroom panini's! I eat them open instead of making them into a sandwich. YUM!!!

Entemann's 2 chocolate frosted and 2 chocolate crumb! (Total calories 980!) Had broccoli for dinner :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

The chocolate crumb one's are the best!!! I use to eat those all the time in NJ when the kids were little! (I don't eat them anymore.)

Uggg, My parents scooped out my meals portions and I had to "clean my plate"!!!! (So, can I blame THEM,please?) So when my kids say they're done....they ARE done!

We couldn't leave the table till our plates were clean! Such trauma!!! Why'd they do that???? I remember feeding the dog the gross, overcooked canned veggies. Or, hiding food in my napkin. How twisted was THAT?!

Ok, take cover...Flyby posting coming. :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I don't have long, but wanted to tell you about something I found today. WW strawberry smoothie. I'll let you know how it tastes tomorrow. I hear the bus, so gotta go.:wave2:

DD has a project due tomorrow, and DS has a Science Fair Project due Thursday. So, they will be using the computer. Has DS started his project yet? Of course not. :sad2: I'll post when I can.

I go off to work and you guys were busy! Just popping in to say Hey! and I hope you are having a Skinny day! This talk of Pooh Muffins and colon blow and men from Iwoa is hilarious, but sadly I have to go to Parent Orientation at DD's middle school for next year. How can they be talking about next year!!!! And my youngest is not going to middle school, NO! (Watch Lynn Sailing down the river of denial.) Thanks for the laughs. I'll try to post my meals later, but so far so good. Just knowing I have to post what I eat is definitely helping.

I want to scream!!! :scared1:

scrapbook help needed - I'll post in the wish scrapbook thread... :scared1:

Ok, the picture of us.. I think is a fine picture. However, you can clearly see my gray! (it is the lighter shade right next to my scalp:rotfl2: ) y'all need glasses.:confused3]Okay i can see a lil bit now that ya pointed it out, but not enough . and i wear glasses:rotfl:
Are you a D&D player also ?

These can be made ahead of time, and frozen, just make sure they are completely and totally cooled before placing in ziplock bag to freeze. Think 1 dozen egg whites + 1 dozen muffins, + oatmeal + fruit = 1 big filling breakfast!!

1 1/2 cups oats whole
1 1/2 cup oats ground with food processor (to make oat flour!)
2 tsp baking powder
12 egg whites
4 tsp of splenda
3 Cups of Rasberries (I buy a bag of frozen berries, and cut down the strawberries to smaller size)

Measure the oats and combine oats, baking powder, egg whites and splenda mix well, can use mixer, or do by hand - then gentle fold in the berries. Spoon into muffin tins.

Bake at 350 for 20 - 25 minutes.

They will not raise very much, fill the muffins to the top not half way. and then you can microwave them before eating!! Lovely on the go way to eat your oatmeal!! I imagine you could throw in some of that flaxseed meal also!!

Are the whole oats like oatmeal or something else? These sound yummy!

Hi - no I really do not play D & D....I was thinking of something more slinky to put there but did not want to be kicked off to Haetes Tomb. No....I don't really like leather straps...too binding. :rotfl:

I have a few thank you's for ideas on snacks. Saturday I made the cupcakes with strawberry cake mix and diet sprite. Only I called them muffins so the kids wouldn't complain that there wasn't frosting, ok and to make myself believe they didn't need frosting. Anyway, they were great! My kids gobbled them up, they only lasted 2 days. Today I bought the last box of grasshopper 100 calorie packs. They were really yummy, not quite the same as the green gobblin ones, but pretty darn good anyway! I am now armed with healthy good snacks,! Watch out fat, you're goin bye bye!:wizard:
