I will not be around until much later today. I have to go do that 'work' thing today. I think working part time is almost worse than full time because I get used to having some free time and then BLAMMO! I have to go to work after 3 days off

I never did get back here last night after orientation. My poor DD is so nervous about middle scool next year!! It's a big school! Anyway I was good until we got back and I was just so starved I broke down and had a 100 calorie 94 percent fat free popcorn about nine oclock and fell into bed. I'll do better today. So far

Almost time for snack. I've got a ton of housework, so I've promised myself 15 minutes of work for 15 minutes of Dising (Is that a word?) I've also still got to walk.

BORG Melinda!!

Only I stood strong on the Webkins - we had a disaster with Neopets, and dd got banned by her parents for pm'n with boys!! (*aack!) (Mostly for trying to hide it from us - gotta keep the computer in plain site of parents! You can always tell when they start to get nervous and hide screens!!)

So 2 of her classmates got Webkins, I googled, and realized it had games that were less imaginative than Neopets, the "code" was only good for one year, and so at $10 it was more like a "subscription" to a website, too gimmicky, but dd is acting like its the end of the world!! I'm trying to stand strong Melinda, but if dd spends her own money on the BeanieBaby crazy... It seems a lot less open than neopets!!

Is everyone trying to figure out their My Spase-esqe page with blogs and stuff? I am quickly overwelmed. I blogged myself, though. I think I'll put in a snazzy picture. "I'll" meaning DH when he gets home. It looks like it'll be an awesome feature for us to use!

I finished No.1 Ladies Detective Agency last night.(for work ) and it was pretty good. Tried to mentally picture it like the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Helped with withdrawals (from WDW, not drugs. )

Anywho I am still trying to figure ways to gag down my water at work. I hate plain water. Does tea count?

I have an insulated 32 oz water bottle that I pour an 8oz bottle of Kiwi Strawberry Propel in and then I fill it the rest of the way with water. The Propel is only 1 pt, but it adds a nice flavor to the water. Tea only counts if it is decaffinated.

Is there room for one more? My name is Beth and I am losing weight prior to my October trip with DH for our 5th Anniversary. My goal is 45 lbs. I started 3 weeks ago and am down 5.5 lbs so far. I am doing a reduced calorie diet (between 1400 and 1800 per day) with an emphasis on increased fiber and protein. I am a part-time grad student (I work FT at Penn State) so I get some walking in twice a week to and from my classes. I do "Walk Away the Pounds" DVDs at lunch here in my office on Tuesdays and Thursdays; DH and I do WATP at home a few times a week as well.

Thanks for not yakkin too much whilst I was in bed last night. I have been checking out the new MySpace-ish profile pages that are available now. One the tool bar at the top...where your user CP is....click on the "profiles" menu and check out yours!

I have sorta pimped mine....not as fancy as Jo's....but I set mine to private so that only friends can view. So head on over and be my friend and leave me a message.

I posted my bio there too and really we could all do that to save the newbies some time.

My computer time has recently been cut in half by the purchase of an evil toy called a WEBKIN. It's a stuffed animal that you register on line and you can watch it walk around and you can build it a home (like SIMS) and play games etc. What was I thinkin? Anybody got a good laptop for sale???

I know all about the Webkin! My DD has three! One of her dogs got strep throat and had to go to the DR. It had to eat popsicles or jelly to get healthy again. She goes through phases of playing. She got a new one this weekend, so her play time has increased for now.

I didn't realize that it is only good for a year! I guess it doesn't really matter because DD will probably move on to something else next year. I knew there had to be a "catch" somewhere. I tried to do my research beforehand, but I am not as knowledgeable as you eeyore.

I have issues!!! I went in to the page Melinda - and I think I set it up for "private" but there were so many questions!! I understand I dont want "guests" to google "me" so I can set that to Private, and then registered members...

I really need to figure out how to put my scrapbook together, all I wanted to do was add blank pages, and I have one heck of a mess!!! None of the holes line up people!! Is the joke on me???

I was able to see your page. I couldn't see Melinda's until she approved me to be in her network. I think if you want it totally private, you need to answer "no", under the privacy thingy, to registered users. That protects you from lurkers as well, I think. See if you can see my profile? I set mine to private.
