hey chickies whatcha doin? late nite postin? just gettin settled after a long crop over at disamy;s with her and dragonfly

I am just reading Disneyfreak's trippie.. then off to bed I will go!

Hope you had fun tonght!!

Thank you@ not trying to be down.. just was pointing out, if I only lose 2 lbs a week then it will take me about 2 yrs to lose the weight. That seems like a very looooong time... But, thanks for the support.. I love you!!

Bee, if you are honestly doing the best you can, then don't worry about it possibly taking 2 years. It's not like we can trade our bodies in for new ones, so we treat our bodies the best that we can, and just keep slimmin'. Until someone invents a time machine where we can go back and tell our younger selves, "Put down the cannoli!" it's all that we can do, and let's rejoice over every step in the right direction.

Here's my Sunday sermon:

Last week I felt like crying because I didn't lose weight, then I thought about the big picture, and how many people don't weigh enough because they are sick or poor, and realized how lucky I am to have the luxury of worrying about weighing too much.

So everybody, go drink some water, and be glad you don't have to walk to the town well to get it (and be glad it's safe to drink), eat some veggies (and be glad you don't have to stand in line at the shelter to get them) and do some exercise (and be glad that you actually have some free time to do it). I know even the busiest of us have some free time, or we'd never make it onto the Peeps thread.

OK. Sermon's over. Do something good for a stranger today, and then do something good for yourself.:)

((crickets chirping))

Hello???

Where is everybody????

Does everybody else have a life or somethin'?
Nope no life just lazy...:happytv:

Hey, I burned 648 calories today!!! (well, those that counted anyway!!)

Furbaby :grouphug: Dene, good thing the vet was there for you!! Now that you did that total body workout, and Cardio, dont you just want to hop on the scale and see like 2# gone!! or is it just me???

WTG Harley - you look mahvelous!! Awesome having the kiddies help us out. My kiddie helped by carrying the laundry to the car!! :rotfl2:

Time to shower, then groceries, or shoe shopping.. and then we must say goodbye to our 2 DS - as they once again trudge down to Univ of IL (and we'll make sure to say HI to Lynda on the way!!! :cheer2: )

How many calories do you burn while you are eating  heeheee it's my new exercise plan

Heck NO! I've been working on my lesson for tomarrow (Young Women aged 16-17) It's on "Our Spiritual Gifts"...plus I was waiting for DH to go to work ;)

NO pictures till my AFTER picture. It's a color y'all are accustomed to (See Below) only MORE blonde!!! So, I put on ABBA which made me clean my house (ABBA is my house cleaning music, or QUEEN) and danced to Mama Mia and made my DH blush which is very fun for me.

You are a Cleaning Queen UTM. I have something to say...it is better to burn out than to fade away. (unless it is losing weight ;) )

I'm picturing UM with a huge Crystal Lite in one hand (even though she'd rather have a diet pepsi :drinking1 ) and a vacuum cleaner handle in the other head bouncing :ccat:to Bohemian Rhapsody :rockband:like Wayne and Garth... :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Schwinnng!

Schwinnng????? :scared: :sad2:

Thank you! :cutie:

:scared1: :lmao: Actually, ours aren't a whole lot better. It was great until DD stepped onto the edge of the walking path with only half her foot and fell. We ended up taking a security cart to the First Aid Station. :sad1: :sad2: Here's the pic AFTER it had been cleaned at the park and then again at my aunt's house later that evening...
DCP02531.jpg

A year and a half later, she still has a slight discoloration on her leg.:guilty:

That looks awful....I bet tigger pushed her :tigger:

Here for all you Queen fans ...the official QUeen house cleaning video:

My "boys" are stuck up

This can't get any better folks I love this board...

It's my Sunday to cook lunch for 100.....fajita bar, anyone??

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

I LOVE fajitas. They're super easy to make healthy too. I do 2-3 chicken breasts, a yellow onion, and a bell pepper, all cut into strips. I stir fry them in a nonstick pan (first the chicken, then the veggies, then throw the chicken back in pan with the veggies) in soy sauce with garlic and ginger. I serve them on Del Valle 2 pt. tortillas (low fat/hi fiber). You can also use nonfat sour cream, and of course salsa (I'm from CA; I put slasa on everything).

I only have 1 dog (who I absolutely adore) He's an 80 pound mutt. We're not even sure what he is! If I had a big piece of land in the country I would probably have a dozen dogs....I absolutely love them! I'm not big on cats tho..so of course cats love me. I think working with animals would be terrific. Oddly I just seem to connect with them. I'm actually a lawyer. Years ago I had to conduct an auction of some racehorses for one of my clients. Their customer hadn't paid stud fees (This was with a champion trotter) so we got a court order allowing us to auction off the five offspring. So we drive 4 hours to a farm in the middle of nowhere where the horses are being boarded. The owneres of the ranch take us all out into the middle of a big field with about 50 horses. Now mind you, my experience with horses is limited to pony rides at fairs! A bunch of horses come up to me and start nuzzling me. I was a little nervous at first when about 10 horses came galloping up to me! But they were so gentle when they got to me and I loved it. The owners of the ranch said wow you must be quite a horsewoman, the horses can sense it they really love you! When I told them about my extensive horse experience :rotfl: they couldn't believe it!

Maybe it was your apples 'n' oats perfume!:lmao:

:sunny: GOOD MORNING, PEEPS!!! :sunny:
How gorgeous you both are! And so much alike! You just look like 2 friends who are having a great time...... :)
Bib silly question where are you guys getting your calorie information from I tried on the Sparkle sight but I can't seem to find it any help folks??
I can find most things on calorie-count.com but if there's something specific, I sometimes have to find the manufacturer's web site. Here's a site with Girl Scout cookie calories. ;)
Hello dearly missed peeps...I have been busy.
Hi, Jay!!!! I miss the snarky penguin. Don't be stranger!!! :wave2:
OK. Sermon's over. Do something good for a stranger today, and then do something good for yourself.:)
Danielle....this reminds me of an email I got last week from my mom...I'll copy/paste...

Life Is A Gift

Today before you think of saying an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's
crying out to God for a companion.

Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early
to heaven.

Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires
children but they're barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn't clean or sweep -
Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive - Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the
unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.

But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another - Remember
that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one Maker.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and thank God you're alive and still around.

Life is a gift, Live it, Enjoy it, Celebrate it, And fulfill it

I LOVE fajitas. They're super easy to make healthy too. .......
Danielle........I go the easy route for 100 people. I buy the premade/sliced chicken and beef. I buy the frozen/sliced 3 pepper/onion mix. I put the condiment bar together and include some seasoned black beans for the vegitarians, sour cream, cheese, etc.

We'll have tossed salad and the only thing that I really cook is an easy corn casserole with green chiles/japs that is so good...it's my diet disaster. I can do the whole thing start to finish in 2 hours with minimum clean up....that's the goal anyway. ;)

UtahWendyMama..........Hope the coughers/hackers are feeling better. We had it here last week....viral so nothing you can do about it. One good day of rest put them back on track. So guess you can give us the lesson on spiritual gifts. :)

YESTERDAY.....
You don't wanna know....after the brussel sprouts it was all downhill. :sad2:

HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY, ONE AND ALL!

MY DAY...

OK WHO MOVED THE "good vibes" smiley? I'm just sayin is it just my computer that those smileys move around??? Well, DS girlfriend decided to drive the boys to Champagne, Univ of IL... and there is an ice storm warning, and we gave her our van... :eek1: It sure is hard to type in the dark... Well, anyway... I almost went on an eating binge, as tears were coursing down my cheeks... but I bent over and felt my sour abs, and arms, and passed on the whine and cheese!!

Congrats to the Colts and SAINTS!! :cheer2: so join me in...

:cheer2: GO BEARS GO :cheer2:
