Thanks for the flax seed info....I think you ladies are a wealth of knowledge ! :teacher: I went to the health food store today and bought ground flax seed powder. The "granola lady" :hippie: at the store told me to always store the ground powder or oil in the fridge because it goes rancid very quickly. It must be refrigerated.

I made Banana muffins today and threw some in as well as a YUMMY cantaloupe/honeydew and vanilla fat free yogurt smoothie....YUM...Yum...Delish !

Tomorrow I face the scale of doom...I think my scale has been talking to Utah's scale ... lying beach ! (I did a pre-weight in this morning...and was not happy :eek: !)

I am going to try and find some fat free brownie mix to make Utah's 1 point muffins. The selection of FF foods in Canada sucks compared to what you guys have available. (...we have NO spray on salad dressing !!! INSANITY., Any our Wally World does not stock Kashi frozen meals) My DH is in Ohio next week so I am giving him my "diet shopping list. Any other suggestions ?

Dragon...Go get a strep test :sick: ! Undiadnosed strep is very dangerous. If untreaded it can damage vital organs like your liver and kidneys.:eek:

Get a pump/aresol.. put in your on salad dressing.. we bought 2 1 for olive oil.. one for balsomic vinegar...:thumbsup2
 
Please, please, please!!! WooHooty! I got finished with my 207 W2s that had to be sent out!! Maybe I can quit working til midnight now. I need a nap.... I've been trying to keep up late at night 'cause if I miss a day there's too much to follow. Hey everyone!!I did okay with my eating today but Harley did catch me red handed.:rolleyes1 The director where I work bought me a birthday cookie cake.It was soooo good..I ended up eating two small pieces.But then I ate only 300 cal at supper.

I can't remember all I wanted to reply to but I don't have time to go back.Rachel is up because her ear is now hurting and she sounds like a barking seal.

But I did want to say one thing...I walked /jogged 3.1 miles in 44 minutes!!!Jan.08 here I come!!My problem is that I don't know if I can make the 5k in 45 min w/o jogging.My legs are really short.Saturday I am going to try though.The first day I tried to jog I made it only one minute.Tonight I was able to jog for 5 min increments.I have accomplished something!Thank you for listening,noone here was too impressed.:goodvibes

BTW-the pumpkin muffins are WONDERFUL!!

I dont have a clue where to find this in my grocery store...

I went to my Kroger today, and it was in the Natural Foods section which was right behind the fruit. There were all kinds of bags for flour, flax seed, flax seed meal, etc. Melinda said to make sure you get the meal not the seed. It would make for a very crunchy bowl of cereal. I'm still waiting to blow. :rotfl: I am afraid my DH may have to poke me with a pin before the night is over. :rotfl: :rotfl2: We just took our nightly walk, and I have drunk 32 oz. of water since dinner.

Colon blow recipe + exercise + water = COLON BLOW! :rotfl:

Not sure which Santa pic you're talking about, but thanks! :goodvibes The crane on the castle was because they were painting it and also preparing MY suite for ME. :rotfl:

She's doing better, thanks to the antibiotics. She's hiring a new lady to take care of her, one who has medical training. Great. right? The lady she's hiring is 75 years old! Whatever, Mom! I'm just trying to make peace with her nuttiness. She's not senile or anything, she just has a really weird idea of what she needs when it comes to taking care of her.

:yay: Exercising and :hippie: eating more healthy sure have been doing wonders for my mood. :cutie: I am soooo glad I live so close to work now... my 1 1/2 hour commute time :drive: has become gym time. :yay: Of course, I couldn't do it as easily if DD was still little. Hats off to all the Moms who find a way.

:cool1: I have a happy story... tonight at the gym, a total stranger walked up to me while I was doing my bicep curls. She introduced herself, said she'd been coming 3 weeks and had seen me and HAD SEEN A DIFFERENCE OVER THE LAST 3 WEEKS. :yay: She asked me how much I had lost and what I was doing... I bet she has no idea just how great she made me feel!:blush:

And of course I saw Jay-the-trainer-dude... too bad his treadmill was beside mine instead of in front of it... :rolleyes1
